I got Alter Myunfa and she seems crazy powerful, but I don't quite know how to optimally use her yet. I have been VERY lazy with my Fire team for a while now: Minalca/Alter Tsukiha/Aisha/AS Radias Minalca does 99% of the damage especially if she has stuff that buffs Pain. Tsukiha applies buffs to Minalca and on turn three, if the enemy is still alive, does some damage herself. Aisha sets Fire zone, buffs Minalca, and applies her singing. Radias uses Chivalry to soak all incoming damage. Tetra clears debuffs and heals at the end of each turn. It's cheap and cheesy and probably not optimal compared to some of the builds I've seen but it has got me through most content. I find I either obliterate or get obliterated, it's very binary. It works for grinding and bosses both, because Minalca's normal attack wipes out mobs, and because her skills destroy bosses very quickly. The downside is that if you're using this to clear mobs, Minalca will self-damage the team and you won't get Tetra's heal at the end of each turn, so you will be running around on low HP and may have an issue if you suddenly meet a stronger fight. I say 'may' because you only have to survive the first turn to trigger Tetra's healing and Radias has got you covered.
@aeadventures I think a good part of it is just for whatever reason no other character I have seems to do anywhere near Minalca's damage. My other party comps probably just need work, I have plenty of powerful characters, but she's just a monster without much setup. If I want to compete with certain content, I'm almost obligated.

I like that you mentioned a team for grinding. You're right... If you play the game with any consistency to collect materials for character upgrades, weapons/armor, or rewards then 80% of your time will be spent with a team meant for grinding in dungeons and easily clearing mobs in the overworld. So the smartest thing you can do from a time, ease, and overall QoL perspective is to build a team or two meant for these purposes. It's much easier these days... There are several characters that have 0mp AoE normal attacks... Flamme or AS Tsubame are great for this purpose. Characters like Minalca or Sesta are more powerful, but also restrict your team comp a bit. Characters like these are crucial on a team meant for grinding with ease. And it may seem trivial, but characters with faster attack animations really speed or slow you while grinding. (Think Sesta vs AS Tsubame normal attack) Adding someone like Alter Toova (0mp cost first round) or AS Otoha (passive mp regen from back row) really helps to maintain mp as well. Grasta or badges that raise or lower encounter rates will change your life in dungeon runs and farming for mats. Personally, I'd say formulating a team for grinding purposes is the most important team comp to consider early on... Especially for QoL, or if you're a busy person with minimal time to play.
I completely agree about animations! That’s why I actually put Melissa in reserves when grinding - I should’ve mentioned that, especially with that clock animation at the start when she’s in front
@@syylone1997 I agree. She's extremely useful both for grinding (especially in newer, tougher areas) since her normal attack costs no mp, and for stomping big bads. However, in older areas where not as much damage is required I like to use characters that have those faster attack animations just to save time. Like in Aldo's dungeon, Miglance Castle... I wouldn't need massive damage to get through it. And generally speaking I have minimal time to play most days. So I'm always looking for ways to get the most out of my time and complete daily grinds quickly.
Many people don't think it's worth the keys, but I just grind XP dungeon to max out everyone I get more or less immediately and there are so many ways to clear mobs easy. Joker switch, Tsubame AS... Kid/Collette item stealing combo is my favorite. If only it procured chants, but I'm more focused on personal VC grasta now and counting on encountering any remaining unlocked styles.
I have the full Wryz saga S.A team ! I am SO happy I got them all as a F2P. Their synergy is way better than what I expected, I am having so much fun with them :)
For Green Key x2 Dungeons, I use: -Shade team (For Entrana, because he's a shadow unit) Toova ES, Iphi and Yakumo are immobable, the fourth unit slot had several changes until I got Wenefica; She's really useful when I want save Yakumo during Boss battles, her AoE skill is pretty decent, it clean the whole dungeon easily. Nero is just for Shadow point bonus. 😬 (He has over 80 shadow points currently) -Wind Team: I use Sevyn, Curio, Sesta and Melody; Mayu and Cerrine are grasta holders (specially Cerrine for IDA grastas and Enemy Encounter-), when I need more useful Grastas/ores, I use this team; Sesta is the only shadouw unit, but she's a powerful DPS unit (just use normal skill and Bye enemies🤣) For Red Key Dungeons (Wymrest Isle): -Magic Team: For -*-Quadra Wastes-*- ,I used Flamme AS, Pom AD, Cyrus Albright and Lele As; Kamalange is my grasta holder (Staff) and Wryz for Enemy Encounter- specially her to keep farming Light Points. Pom AS is a good adition when she activate her E. Magic Zone. For *Dragon's Depths* , I use the same team, but with Mariel AS instead of Cyrus, because the boss stun shadow units. Currently, I'm using .... well, it's a very particular team, I run with Claude ES, Yukino AS, Sazanca and... Ciel AS (I'm serious, this unit is my main DPS😐👌🏼), Why the hell am I using that?... Boredom, using the same team is sometimes routine and monotonous, and this is the result. It was the best chance to use my new adquired unit, she has good support, even with an outdated unit, it's really easy to clean the dungeon, so NO-PROBLEM!!! 👌🏼😬
My 2 go to teams are Iphi, yakumo, toova es, Radius AS (krervo, Aldo) And Melody [as], yipha [as], Suzette (SA), Sesta (tiramisu, tsushima (SA) Wreck stuff!
I just got back from my two-year inactivity in the game, bought the daybreaker deal because it's quite cheap and roll on a one time paid gallery and got suzette as, melody (medea), and tsukiha. I then rolled for melpiphia and somehow got her on my first 10 roll. My team currently is all wind team because Melody can hit hard (although it needs set up). It is composed of: Suzette AS, Melody, Melpiphia, and Azami. I tried to roll for Melissa but damn after 40 rolls no luck
@@jrpgwow I'm quite overwhelmed with the amount of changes. I didn't know there was stellar awakening, zones, manisfest weapons, emporium, etc. Moreover, there's alot of new content. and stories I have yet to unlock. So far, I am enjoying it and I might get hooked to stay longer~
Hey David, any tips on grinding to level 100? So far I just constantly jump from phase shift to phase shift doing battles for all my stella awakened units. Is there faster way?
Current team im having is Alma AS, Mariel ES, Ewella AS, Thillillie ES. It almost can be my grinding team and bossing team due to the dmg dealt from Alma AS and Thillillie ES are insane even without any heavy buff on

Nice work on completing those tough fights. And great info in the video, especially for newer players who need to consider who to pull for or spend those rare upgrade materials on to create team comps that are practical.
I miserably failed to get Cerius, Thillie, Alma AS, Melpiphia or Sazanca, but I did get Lightning Himbo and Aldo awakened so they're my Stellar bros lol.
I have Cerius, Alma AS and Melphiphia but I dont stand chance to win against the Stella Aldo. And I find also hard to grind for grasta. Half AF bar (1 TURN) + Stellar burst (2 TURN) + ALL MY 4 UNITS USED THEIR SKILLS (3 TURN) = The current life of Stella Aldo is 2/4. At 4th turn, my entire team is defeated if I failed to 0/4 his life.

@@WandersNowherre The problem is my Aldo light sword is only 4 while his Aldo light sword is 255. It is possible if I dont rely on Aldo and just play only one DPS like Minalca or Tsukiha? And I dont have Radias AS so I used Alma AS as my tank but still not enough.
@@amanuelsupero8648 I still totally took Minalca for my primary damage unit, Aldo job was applying his skill buffs/debuffs and using Ogre Rancorems special ability at the start
As far as support grasta goes... I'm not sure what, if any, the newest grastas released are. I've been away from the game for over a year. Proficiency debuff resist grasta is always a good choice if you're not needing that slot for something else. Found in antiquity Garulea dungeon and equipped with dormant ore gives 100% resistance to proficiency debuffs from enemies. Can also do this for physical and type debuffs for 100% resistance to debuffs. 😄 If nothing else can equip grasta from Azami dungeon (present Garulea) or any other grasta that boosts HP/MP + speed. Speed is always good. Enhance these with ores that also boost HP/MP from Underworld red key dungeon. I use grasta like this to boost HP for characters like AS Radias who deploy shields based on % of HP... Plus more HP for tank is always good. Or to boost HP of fragile support characters like alter Myunfa. Always fill up grasta slots. 👍 If nothing else, save any grasta that has +speed stat boost... Even if the grasta doesn't help that specific character (like an earth elemental grasta on a wind unit) you can still benefit from the slight boost in stats. Speed/End/Power... Whatever that character is lacking in or benefits most from. It's a +15 or +30 to certain stats if nothing else. There are specific grasta that are good for specific support characters. But for newer players who don't have access to late stage grasta or tons of grasta to spare, any grasta on any character simply for the stat increase is beneficial.
Why I cant defeat the Stella Aldo, he makes me frustrated right now. It is a must that my Aldo should be 255 light sword to win on him? Because my Aldo light points are only 4.
I think it's assumed he would have high light at least, if he is an active party member. But he does initially have to be on the front lines or you wipe immediately. After that, you might be able to swap him out.
Personally I prefer Oboro's Blitz Buster. It's free and really power against mobs. I only have a 4* Flammelapis. And sadly I took a month off and missed out on my favorite character THILLILLIE!!! 😅😭 Now I have to wait for her to show up again.
@aeadventures yeah I was extremely lucky. I got his 5* 4 times and his 4* once. For only 6 draws. One of them was a bust, but I've had him at 80+ Light ever since his banner. I recently got Orleya, and with Cyrus from Octopath, I can now use him to his fullest because I also finally managed to draw Ewella after 3 draws. You can't really make full use of him unless you have 4 Lightning characters. And sadly, Melina isn't good enough.
Best team. We know there's only one, Melissa, as she can solo virtually everything in the entire game while also pumping out millions upon million of damage.
If you want an attacker, Thile ES or Mel. If you want a healer/support, Melphi. You can check my vids on Thile ES and Mel to see which one resonates with you more

New player here..anyone know how to use opus ? I have 3 ukanomitama and it says something like encounter character from another world or so..still chapter 20 in game btw
Opuses are used to encounter the Alter characters. This specific one is for hozuki alter. I am unaware if you need one of the other forms of her (NS vs AS), but to use the opuses, treaties, codexes, etc talk to the old lady on the left side for times forgotten stop in the spacetime rift
All these tips but I don't have the best character that all people usually use in their video.. My team right now is Melphipia - Thillelile - Melissa - Isuka (It's the one that has skill Causa Sica I forgor which style 💀) Melphi ofc because the zero MP cost and atk buff + Can heal with tranquility which is really helpful in clearing dungeon and story, Thillelile for that extra atk and int buff and also Moke, Melissa that can do crazy damage in turn two because of her Ruin Carnage skill, and Isuka as my semi tank and support. I don't have any specific elemental dps yet because uh.. again... gacha (duh) and because Melissa is going hard for no reason dealing 2m+ damage out of nowhere which is huge for me because I'm new to the game 😭 I hope theres easy event again to gain crystal, currently trying to get sazanca but after 4k crystal still no luck.... Give me better tank and dps another eden pleaseee 😢
anyone know how to beat inimical traveler curse? i don't have yakumo like other youtuber, and his first attacks just deal insane amount of damage even after i debuff him
There are guides on UA-cam. Look into sidekick equipment to help them hit elements so they can lower the appropriate shields, and use supports who can increase your maximum HP and keep you healed, like Nona AS. Finally, keep the boss debuffed as much as possible.
She's obviously not as powerful as the newest characters being released, but she's definitely not useless. I still run her in literally every red or green key dungeon I go into... Not that I have to, or don't have more powerful characters for certain instances, but she has no problem handling most of the content released so far depending on how you equip her. I wouldn't go dropping a bunch of stones on her, always better to go for new characters... but having her is still useful. 👍
@@NetBattler Same here. She helped me out a lot when I got her. Kind of like Melissa was for me back in the day, she made it easier to certain dungeons with ease... Kind of a big QoL boost there. And also helped me take on some tougher content I was struggling with.

I have been VERY lazy with my Fire team for a while now: Minalca/Alter Tsukiha/Aisha/AS Radias

Type to pull for sazanca, since i finally got melpiphia😭 after almost 30k stones

Personally I prefer Oboro's Blitz Buster. It's free and really power against mobs. I only have a 4* Flammelapis. And sadly I took a month off and missed out on my favorite character THILLILLIE!!! 😅😭 Now I have to wait for her to show up again.

@aeadventures yeah I was extremely lucky. I got his 5* 4 times and his 4* once. For only 6 draws. One of them was a bust, but I've had him at 80+ Light ever since his banner. I recently got Orleya, and with Cyrus from Octopath, I can now use him to his fullest because I also finally managed to draw Ewella after 3 draws. You can't really make full use of him unless you have 4 Lightning characters. And sadly, Melina isn't good enough.

New player here..anyone know how to use opus ? I have 3 ukanomitama and it says something like encounter character from another world or so..still chapter 20 in game btw
Opuses are used to encounter the Alter characters. This specific one is for hozuki alter. I am unaware if you need one of the other forms of her (NS vs AS), but to use the opuses, treaties, codexes, etc talk to the old lady on the left side for times forgotten stop in the spacetime rift

All these tips but I don't have the best character that all people usually use in their video..
My team right now is Melphipia - Thillelile - Melissa - Isuka (It's the one that has skill Causa Sica I forgor which style 💀) Melphi ofc because the zero MP cost and atk buff + Can heal with tranquility which is really helpful in clearing dungeon and story, Thillelile for that extra atk and int buff and also Moke, Melissa that can do crazy damage in turn two because of her Ruin Carnage skill, and Isuka as my semi tank and support. I don't have any specific elemental dps yet because uh.. again... gacha (duh) and because Melissa is going hard for no reason dealing 2m+ damage out of nowhere which is huge for me because I'm new to the game 😭 I hope theres easy event again to gain crystal, currently trying to get sazanca but after 4k crystal still no luck.... Give me better tank and dps another eden pleaseee 😢

anyone know how to beat inimical traveler curse? i don't have yakumo like other youtuber, and his first attacks just deal insane amount of damage even after i debuff him
There are guides on UA-cam. Look into sidekick equipment to help them hit elements so they can lower the appropriate shields, and use supports who can increase your maximum HP and keep you healed, like Nona AS. Finally, keep the boss debuffed as much as possible.
Is Eva still viable in this game?
In my experience, she can’t deal as much damage as easily as the new characters. But maybe she’ll get a glow up next year like Melissa did

She's obviously not as powerful as the newest characters being released, but she's definitely not useless.
I still run her in literally every red or green key dungeon I go into...
Not that I have to, or don't have more powerful characters for certain instances, but she has no problem handling most of the content released so far depending on how you equip her.
I wouldn't go dropping a bunch of stones on her, always better to go for new characters...
but having her is still useful. 👍

Kind of like Melissa was for me back in the day, she made it easier to certain dungeons with ease... Kind of a big QoL boost there.
And also helped me take on some tougher content I was struggling with.
