I genuinely have a lot of respect for Gen. Milley. I think he was absolutely the right man for the time in being able to thread the needle in a chaotic time in American history.
Body language 101 (which I think the Gen was well aware of during the interview), when someone shakes their head in the "no" gesture while they are saying something, you can generally understand that they do not believe what they are saying.
The time has never been more right for a third party candidate.
What is it that Gen Milley has done that causes you to have a lot of respect for him?

With due respect to General Milley, he contradicted himself --- first saying that he would not comment on the state of Biden's health, age, and mental condition, then immediately proceeding to do exactly that. He should instead have stressed that his statement was only a personal opinion, and in no wise associated with his role as a military advisor.
