Oh ....I see who's the owner of this channel now. Thank you so much for the latest developments :) The base plane shadow adds so much depth to the scene and , in my case helps immensely with the birds eye evaluation of the 3d view. This would be a really nice addition. One thing that I always wished I had in LinkStage also was a configurable grid on the base plane. I always used the Draft grid but was not ideal. One side note, the projection plane of the shadow should be at the bottom of the objects in the scene and not on the base XY plane. Is there a place in the forum where this is discussed? Thank you so much again
the projection is not at the xy plane - of course. (otherwise it will not work with models that goes below it) it is projected just below the model and any change will move it interactively to always stay just below BTW this is a general node for effects, I later plan to have Ambient Occlusion. I will add a configurable grid to the list...
