Great!
I joined the English Academy last week. It really has plenty of well organized material for a fantastic self-learning process. I really admire Rachel and how patiently teaches every single sounds in English. I hope to get a great American pronunciation. Thank you so much!!!
Happy to hear that Henry! Thanks for sharing! :)
I'm obsessed with your videos! I have been in the states for 10 years, and I have a background in both mainland China and Italy. I always struggled with pronunciation, but recently I was like: "That's it, I'm gonna fix it!" And voilà, I found your channel. I can't believe I just discover you today!
Awesome! Thanks for watching FrancescoZhu!
Absolutely marvelous. I'm switching from british English to American and this is helping me a Lot..!!
Thanks a million.
What a great lesson Rachel, thanks so much for sharing it with us.
You're so welcome!
Thanks Rachel for putting more emphasis on the up down shape of stressed vowels. I find that most ESL teachers don't give it enough attention.
You're very welcome Philip!
Hi, Rachel! Thanks so much for the lesson!
I love it when a video gets me excited to sit down and take notes. I have a complete notebook dedicated to Rachel’s teachings. Needless to say I truly admire you and aspire to be like you as a teacher.
Thanks for sharing! Keep watching and keep practicing!
This is excellent video. Slow motion and mouth and tong movements pictures explain well and I can practice along with you.
Thank you Rachel for helping me, your expertise gave me more confidence.
I used to avoid words that I knew I couldn’t pronounce clearly and my vocabulary were limited. Now I can try and express myself freely. It means a lot to me!
Extremely helpful! I've learn English for over a decade, I still couldn't tell the differences among similar vowels without immersing English speaking environment. Thank you!
look up for Phonetic articulation (place of articulation, manner of articulation and voicing) on youtube. This videos have less views but are perfect to improve pronunciation skills. Some of them have excellent diagrams to understand the subtle differences that are happening inside the mouth.
I HIGHLY recommend your videos Rachael. WOAH ! It's so amazing when you feel selfconfident I don't say any more , " Sorry I speak little English " . Now I say " Yes sir / ma' how can I help you ? " I'm not shy , nervous or frustrated. Yep! I know I must still keep practicing.
THANK YOU WONDER WOMAN 😘🖒😘😘😘😘😘❤

Hey my love
This is amazing! I always tell people who wish to learn American accent about your channel, and among all of the videos this one is a Must-Watch. It makes things so clear, especially the points that can't be covered by the current IPA chart. I really appreciate your effort on teaching us American accent. I am so glad that I have watched this video. Thank you 🙏
You're very welcome Wan-Yi!
This is what I exactly want to correct my pronunciation. To reach the high level, this is the right way to lead me,thank you teach
Hello Rachel. I've bought this accent lessons and downloaded these videos. I watched each of them multiple times with the help of my English accent teacher. I really learned so much from you, especially the dark L! I tried to do those two parts (1. pull back the tongue and 2. lift the tongue to touch upper jaw) at the same time, but it didn't work. I didn't know I should do the first part and then the second part until I watched your video. Your teaching is really helpful and easy to understand. Thanks for your great effort on making these awesome and wonderful videos. I really appreciate it.
Happy to hear that Ethan! You're very much welcome! :)
