Spray a little releasing fluid around the connection, leave it to soak in for a while, then depress the blue clip and push/pull the hose a little. It should come off after a little persuasion.
@@ahmadshaarawy1224 thats funny because doing the job right now myself, the hose with the quick release blue clip is the only one that I´ve managed to disconnect so far. Its all the others that are refusing to cooperate.
Let me tell you something, do not touch the plastic vent screw on top of the radiator. It will most likely break and then the entire front will have to be removed to replace the radiator.
perfect video
Thanks
Nice 👍🏻
can you run this type of car without a thermostat ie if the stat can come out
You can but it's not recommended. The engine will take a long time to get to normal operating temperature (if at all).
Hey .. What if i can not remove the hose @ 2:14 .. the blue release is not helping it come out :(

Will try that. It can spin in place already but i think the problem is at that blue clip. Thanks :)

Always a worry with aging plastic parts...
Gold comment !
i always disconnect the lower hose to drain the coolant, because of that crappy plastic drain plugs that always breaks!
@@scottykilmer1094 I must have gotten lucky. I just drained my punto using the (granted very crappy and also very full of dirt) drain valve.
I hope you reply to this. So i'll be good without using the top of the radiator screw?
you think its necessary to show how you open up the hood?
Do i have to take the battery off to do this
1:59 - not true! You can remove the thermostat from the housing and replace it separately.
