I’d like to see some premium additions changed or maybe even tech tree, object 195 I believe (t14 prototype in 90s) and maybe the “black eagle” t80 prototype.
That would be the T-80UM-2 obj640(Black Eagle) some people still think the one with drozd in war thunder is the black eagle but they have similar names but are completely different, theres two more a T-80UM(thats a modern T-80U) & T-80UM-1-Bars and the other UM2 is ingame already, and no it can never be easy with soviet tanks they are always difficult to designate.
I would really love to see the T-72B3M obr.2022 in the game, but i would put it as a folder vehicle under the T72B3 we have in game. Its just an uparmored B3 with shit ton of ERA slapped on it with commanders thermals.
Not only that, New gunner sight, Metal nets on the front turret added ERA-Kontakt-5 on gun Mantlet and way better reparability Edit: also ERA on the back of the turret.
@@olgatd9168 Thats what i said, added shit ton of ERA making the tank pretty much imune to heat threats. The sight should be the same but with a closing door to cover it.
The t15 is based on the Armata chassis as it is supposedly the basis for new Russian vehicles

Uh didnt know about the T15 until now, everybody laughed at me a year or two ago when i said that the T14 is just a testbed but it was shown for PR reasons, in sovjet times it would have gotten some object-Nr designnation and would probably never left the testing grounds.

2022 does not have better reverse speed it was only an idea no prototype or even paper project was made, same with Hard kill aps its not put on any production variants so it should not have it in game same as leo2PSO has no better front plate but could have
Soviet TT also lacks T-54A/B, T-62 (mod. 1972), T-64A (1972 or 1980), a true T-80BV*, maybe a T-80UD (Diesel engine), not to mention all the BA series o armored car from the 30s and 40s, a 1945 variant of the T-34-85 (with the smoke barrel) BMD-1, BMD-2, T-90 (mod. 1992), give the “Kontakt-1” modification for the T-72A (making it a T-72AV, like the T-64BV)
* the current T-80B that we have is NOT a T-80BV. It’s just a T-80B retrofitted with K-1. True T-80BV has the same chassis of the T-80U and can fire the better “reflex” ATGM. Also, remove T-80B’s fake thermals, cuz if that’s ok, give the Abrams their DU hull
T62Ms and all older T80s have received thermals mostly irl so no on the T80BV..take thermals away from it and its gonna be 110% worthless
I think t-80b was also retrofitted with thermals later.
I think if we do see the 2022 versions of the t80bvm and t72b3 then they should come equipped with the arena-m active protection system. If not them, at least a more modernized t-90m

@@wifi_soldier5076 i think they keep the 3BM59 back for a while, it might get tandem introduced with the various other DU rounds for the US, Germany & GB + the variatons of those for the other nations, imagine the temper tantrum if the 3BM59 is introduced 3 months before the others get it...
You are missing a lot of APS equipped T 72, 80 and 90 series of MBTs
you guys should do one with France next A lot of people I feel like think there is almost nothing else to add but in reality they can add a good amount

T-62M (2022) is something i would want for sure.
T-55M6 would be pretty much like the chinese Type96B an interesting vehicle a cheap modernization.
I gotta say you made a pretty good list but there are far for T-90Ms than just that one from 2017 we have in the game, they could be foldered that would be obr 2020 2022 & this new one lets call its obr 2023 with the new reverse speed everyone is talking about, as for BTRs you forgot the VPK-7829 Bumerang while everyone knows the T-14 but very few actually know The T-15 but theres also the Bumerang which almost no one knows just like the others its built in small numbers. Not really needed but i need to mention them too the Gaz Tigr 2975 and its variants there are 1-2 which could be added into war thunder that would be the one with the modern russian 30mm autocannon the kornet atgm launcher.

Mat how the Tor M2 that has 16 missiles with 18km range missiles be before the osa that has 6 missiles with 15km in the latest variant?
Also skipping any more modern variant of the S1 the Tor m2 should be the end of the line
16:47 Karrar it is a T-72S with a welded turret, kontakt-1 on the hull with a high probability that contact 1 is also on the turret this tank does not deserve the 8th rank, the Persians wanted this tank to look modern, but its modern appearance is where its features end.
I love how they add things to pretty much every tech tree that are brand new and some that haven't even been put into service yet but they added an old M1 Abrams as the "top Tier".
Some very interesting vehicles, would love to see some of these extra light vehicles and atgm carriers. Would like to see a tor in the lineup too but understand for balance maybe not best to have loads of the best AA vehicles in one tree because they’ll just fill lineups completely
The T-90MS might be a rank 7 ( maybe 8 ) premium
I feel like we'll probably end up seeing some of these vehicles in the future help some of the ones on this list will most likely be added soon due to that massive Gap they now have in the tech tree
I'm dissapointed gaijin added the Pantsir in truck and not it's tracked version. You can barley Drive it anywhere

Well don't forget about T-72M4CZ that looks super strong with even better APFSDS than top tier Russia.

While the M-84AS1 is severely upgraded version of the M-84, it gets even better with the M-84AS2 that came out in 2020/21 which is an even further modernisation. Basically both modernisations were done in parallel with one another with the AS2 serving as a tank platoon commander tank. I saw the AS1 version live and it's hell of a good looking tank, it's basically the better T-72B3
I like the Overall ideas of this vid about the future of the USSR tech tree. But for the premiums at Rank 8 is debateable, for me i don't want to see a wallet warrior to die once and left with no contribution to the team, play with skill to reach the top, not your wallet

I wish for the Yugoslav techtree to come to the game as a way to put eastern european and more neiche vehicles into the game, but my main confusion around this speculation is about the BMD series of vehicles, why only add the 4M and not find a way to get the other ones in?

They removed Fury Biplane from the files but it had a tag ( YU ) which is obviously for YUgoslavia..
Basically they removed Yugoslav tech tree plane from the files for some reason ( we probably didn't use Fury's )
So to me... this is clear prood they are working in it
Even bigger and even clearer proof they are working on Yugo tech tree is that they added pretty much all of Serbo-Croatian voice-lines into the game... and you can even use them right now
Set your game to Serbian... then change the crew language to Game Options so it will only play the language you set the game to be

@@kajmak64bit76 Can't wait for all of that to happen so that I can take out some of our stuff out to see how it fares against everything else, it'll be very fun. As for the crew voicelines yes I'm aware they did add them in, but around the time when Ixua strike came out I was almost certain that the new nation they were teasing was Yugoslavia and eastern europe before the trailer came out lol.
One more thing I forgot was the T-90 Burlak, that thing is an interesting modification, it can be put in as a premium later down the line.
@@splendid9910 they could do it as Wargame European Escalation/Red Dragon did: you can either have a nation pack where eastern europe, western europe, norad and so are all mixed together (but take longer to grind) or chose single nations that are much faster to grind because less vehicles, but have less to choose from. I am happy either way if new nation tec trees come into game, especially the jugoslav one, lot of interesting & out of the box thinking makes them often special.
Eastern Europe tech tree would be amazing.

Completely unrelated, but I stumbled upon a Russian military defense forum, they basically discuss Russian weapons and other Russian military things, and I saw an interesting discussion “T-14 Armata discussion 5”, they were basically talking about the high velocity and the low velocity 57mm cannons, similar to the one mounted on the 2s38, and I saw a couple images and sources of the Kurganets-25, and T-15 having 3bm76, it’s really interesting since I also saw a couple of vehicles very similar to the 2s38 but with even more modernized equipment and plans of integrating 3bm76 on those vehicles, I don’t know how much of it is true since it is a Russian sided forum with lots of English speakers.

I actually don't understand why they haven't added the BMPT-72 Terminator yet, there's no reason for Gaijin not to add it, it would fit in perfectly in the Russian tech tree
Because you can already hear everybody crying abouut a twin 30mm with ATGMs i mean many still cry because of the BMP2M, they would have to put it at 11.3 or 11.7 and thats a hard place for any IFV, the T72A/B chasis might be paper at that tier so it has nothing going for it that the BMP2M or BMP3/BMD does not already offer, but yeah it would be nice. I would welcome more IFVs for nations who dont have much of any first though.
Problem is how gaijin models unmanned turrets in game, they work fine for lighter vehicles since you can overpressure them or cook ammo, but for T14 and Terminator vehicles that are heavier armored and cant just get overpressured with Heat/HE you cant do anything to them right now. They need to add some mechanics to counter them, IRL direct hit to turret face on T14 or terminator would mean whole turret is out of action but in WT shell would just go through it while doing no damage as we saw this in futuristic event

It is unlikely that guided missile carriers will be higher than the Chrysanthemum-S. 9k33 wasp will be worse than the 2s6 Tunguska. Prototypes of the T 14 from the 80s are not presented (In the 80s in the USSR they realized that the concept of the T72 with a carousel automatic loader had outlived itself). These Are object 490A "Rebel", Object 477 "Boxer", Object 477A "Hammer", Object 477A1 "Note", Development Work 490B "Belka". There are no some modifications of the T-80 such as the Object 640 "Black Eagle" and the variant with the "Burlak" tower. There are no variants of the T-90 with dynamic protection "Arena" BMP-3 with the same.

I’m done with trying to care about only what our thoughts are on what’s going to be added in the future. Until they officially announce vehicles, I simply don’t care anymore and just gonna play the game.

About T72B3M 2022, its just T72B3M with more armor(no commander thermals).
Not to be confused with more cheap T72B3M (2023) worse thermals (still 2 gen), more armor, engine probably 1000hp, and probably no new fire control system (fast turret rotation), Because this is a quick and cheap modernization of the T72B.
Yeah I told him in private after he released the video that the T-72B3M 2022 doesn't have a CITV, only the VDV's T-72B3's do and they all got destroyed.

China has TOR M1 at rank 8... TOR M2 got thermals, 16 missiles instead of 8, more range, faster missiles...
Gaijin directly said that they will not add TOR 2 yet, because due to the missile engine, which operates throughout the entire flight of the missilw, it can turn at 16 km (max range) much better than Pantsir S1 missile. Like if pantsir missile can turn 5G on 16km, TOR 30G (max G) and it has more missiles than S1 (12 missiles). just like the missile speed, it flies at 1000 m/s, but it will fly at this speed for all 16 km. that is much better.
Also you forgot Pantsir SM, 40km missile range, 75km radar.
It may come along with fox 3 missile update...after jets get fox 3s AAs would also get similary capable missiles

@@Niko_rj The missile is stated to have 30g of overload thx to the thrust vectoring. 30-42 doesnt change much but yes the old variant has a slight buffed overload

Yes it's the t90ms wich is the export version of the regular t90m. It has the afganit hard kill active protection system

There are literally hundreds of soviet/russian vehicles which can be added into br 7.0-9.7. Unfortunately gaijin almost gave up adding mid-tier things cus they are not hyped enough to make quick money. Old players, many of them are already left; newbies, many of them are not even into military history before playing wt. D-54,what is that? D-68, what is that? Zalo-S, what soviet got wheeled tonk design?

I would love to see an actual Artillery tank. That uses the same system as the mortars.
you open ur map and click where u want to fire. but its not as accruate unless u upgrate ur crew.
and on top of that u are kinda depented on other players marking and scouting other tanks.
this game can add a lot of new cool things. we just have to wait and see what they will do.
