I want to personally thank u for the help. I'm playing Sword for the first time and wanted to use Sirfetch'd because I like it a lot and I know it would be extremely useful for all the dark types. I had caught a Farfetch'd that hadn't had a leek and I saw this video on how to evolve Galarian Farfetch'd. The next one I encountered not only had the leek but also had a jolly nature a fantastic nature. I immeditaly battled against a Swirlix and I successfully crit 3 times in a row and evolved it immeditaly so now I have a fricking Sirfetch'd before the second gym in large part because of this video. for those post game where all of the wild area pkmn are level 60+, if your farfetch'd is high leveled and would easily KO pkmn not in the wild area, i used this method on a pelipper and got it like a charm! pelipper has roost, which will restore its HP. got 3 crits on it using brick break specifically. good luck yall!
It's the Leek that come with Farfetch'd that boosts the critical hits not the Large leek... I could you confused the too? Didn't you read the description? I searched for the large leak for nothing after I read the description. Large leak is an ingredient the leek is a boost item.....

Try this teach it focus energy with a TM "makes critical hits use this move only one in battle will fail if used multiple times but use it first" THEN use leaf blade TM also rises critical hit..... use level 20ish farfetched and fish in the wild area to catch magikarp level 60. Then use focus energy first then leaf blade next 4 turns unless need potions then just use leaf again oh and make it hold a (dire hit, leak or razor claw) i did it few times worked each try only way would work for me
I used the leek, x accuracy and brutal swing during the first gym dynamax Pokémon at turfield. The critical hits on your Allie’s count and brutal does almost no damage to them. I got it first try doing that.

Have a pokemon with compound eyes in the lead party to raise the 50% chance of a wild farfetch'd holding one. It is better than a pokemon with frisk ability in this case. Furthermore have have a pokemon with thief if you plan to farm leeks.
I got a Safari Ball Galar Farfetch'd on the GTS. It turns out regular Farfetch'd legal since they can be caught in HeartGold and SoulSilver in Safari Balls and be bred in Sword and Shield. If you want to mix in hidden abilities too, get a Farfetch'd from one of the console RBY or GSC games from the 3DS.
In the end game, I did the same thing, but against a chansey in the Ilse of Armor DLC. They have softboil, so they often heal themselves on top of their original tanky hp bar.
You can buy them at Hammerlocke's pokécenter. Talk to the right man at the right side of the pokécenter. He will sell Dire hits for 1.000 pokécoins a piece!
Probably you know this by now, but you need a Leek, not a large leek. Leeks can only be found on farfetches, by capturing them until you get one holding the leek or using the move Thief

Dude I looked at this video after I brought my 55 farfetch’d into the Pokémon league with a leek and leaf blade. I found a Pokémon against Piers that I was able to use like 30 full restored on and whenever she didn’t hit me with a physical attack, I lead bladed. Smh
I became a master of evolving Farfetch'd. just catch one on route 5, give a leek from my bag, or just teach it Focus Energy from said bag, take on a wild Wobbuffet and BAM- 3 instant crits. evolved like 3-4 different Farfetch'd that way. including the one and only "ducKnight" of my play through Sword team. the others were given away to people i gave promises to 🤣

After the game, you can get three crits on a lv 60 metapod with a low level farfetch'd. They only harden.

If anyone’s struggling to evolve go to route 9 and fight bergmite. He/she has recover and have a better chance of hitting crits!

I did none of this. Mines in lvl 23. I just took him to route 6 and fought that sand hippo. I used the move night slash and got three crits in a row.

I just got mine to evolve by fighting a shuckle in the second galar mines.
The trouble is finding a leek on Shield.
Ag ood recommendation is fighting the breeder in the wild area, the one with the 3 starters, she spaws around the first area near a tree

Probably you know this by now, but you need a Leek, not a large leek. Leeks can only be found on farfetches, by capturing them until you get one holding the leek or using the move Thief
If you've got Shield or are just really lazy, you can get one from the GTS in Pokemon Home Mobile if you have the right Pokemon.
I spent 20 minutes looking for a large leek and now that I have it, it doesn’t even do anything

Get night slash, focas energy and find a really strong metaphor, so it raises its def and dowsing attack, leaving more chances to get crits
I got like 7 crits with this
And no leak!
Give large leek
Use dire hit
Go into raid
Spam brutal swing so you can get up to 4 crits in one turn

Just so you know wobbufet is a good opponent because it doesn’t have a lot of attacks but it has destiny bond that is how I got mine
I tried it with Sand Attack and Peck and got it without any problems. Thanks for the tipp with the Onix, that made it very easy for me.

Large leek isn't the same as leek . When you catch farfetch. Sometimes it'll be holding a leek and it's discription is different than the large leeks
You can breed a non Galatrian one and get the galarian one
You can capture him in a Pokémon den in shield as well
