Red River Gorge is not in Frankfort. You must have been thinking of Cove Spring Park & Nature Preserve. It housed the first public water works in Kentucky, built in 1804, and one of the first seven in the nation.

We just went through Frankfort it is the prettiest old downtown I ever ever seen , but watching this video makes me realize we missed alot
