Dance With the Dead (clean modern synthwave) and Carpenter Brut (rough old-school synthwave) come to mind. Both do heavier stuff than this tho. I don't really follow the retro/synth -wave scene, so maybe try finding some youtube promo channels and see if anything clicks.

I'm glad you liked it. I love writing and playing guitar solos, but it's always a struggle to record and mix them in a way that fits this more electronic context.
