@@BernicePanders I believe in God and an afterlife, but I'm also at peace with the idea of there not being one. I just feel like we know so little about the universe as a whole that to assume this is all there is is the same as assuming there's no other life in the universe beyond Earth. It's a practical truth that we are made up of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, the four most abundant elements in the universe, so its not farfetched to think the same universe that created us did so as a means of discovering itself through perspective and experience. Science itself tells us that we're connected to a greater whole.
I'm an atheist and this still blew my mind.

Sometimes I think it could’ve been Jesus or Buddha, and sometimes I think there’s branches where every being that reaches enlightenment becomes it’s own version of a born god.

I actually don't think it is about God. The message that I got was that you don't need to fear death so much and try to live your full of experience. Every time you bully or hate someone you are hurting yourself inside by the guilt or insecurity that washes over you. Same every time you make someone happy or be kind to someone this sense of happiness and calmness washes over you. If you love everyone and accept them they will accept you. You just need to put yourself in their shoes and think if they are just like you, you always be happy and kind to them and in return you will get that happiness. It does not matter what religion or country you are from, for example I am an atheist, this video has an universal message.
