Bought a 2024 a few weeks ago for my wife, she really loves it. I test drove it merging on a highway and was shocked to learn after we got back to the lot and was told that it was 4 cylinder turbo. We got a large GM employee discount from my aunt and bought it out right. I was dead set against a straight 4 and turbo. My bro law who's a mechanic test drove it hard off the line agreed it has punch and torque and was impressed with the baby Escalade.
Cadillac should have put this on the old CT6 platform. It could have had the twin turbo 6 and the blackwing engine. No use in redesigning it because I think it's going away after the 26 model year. The new Buick Enclave is more premium than this and cost less.
This vehicle is just about outdated as my 2010 Audi Q7?! What in the heck Cadilac. No wonder Kia and Hyundai have gained so much ground over practically every manufacturer.... smh
Had a 2017 XT5 and have a 2023 XT5. Same dash and interior. Cadillac updated the XT4 dash and interior and it debuted after the XT5 why not the XT5? It’s going on its 9th year. It’s time.
@naveenthemachine I'm not saying it's bad. Just compared to everything else in the Cadillac portfolio and some GMCs it's lacking (interior design wise).
Change the infotainment and put an engine in a luxury car that is worthy of its looks and it should sell. Stop putting these average engines in luxury cars. Why pay 60k for a car with the same engine in a 30k car? Luxury is about options
@@MercOne you didn’t even have to ask 😆😂 You got it right. And unlike you I can prove in factual detail as to why they’re bad vs the xt6. and once you see that you’ll realize “gee the xt6 is better”
The Lexus TX doesn’t have reliability but the XT6 does? 🤔 first I’ve ever heard that from an auto journalist. Not your best review to be honest. The radio and politics? Maybe just stick to the auto review. Nothing on the ride quality, drive modes while driving, sound levels etc I’m just being honest about this review, I’ve watched a lot of your videos and am a subscriber to your channel. This was arguably the least informative video of yours and you’re better than this. Peace ✌️

How much did you pay with employee discount?
How much was the discount?
The interior needs an update, but the exterior has aged well
I agree if they keep the v6 naturally aspirated engine and add the other power drain as options.
Why they didn’t update the screen in the 2025
It looks so good that i still might want one when i get rid of my CTS. Inside needs a damn overhaul for sure
I was hoping they updated it. I'm stuck between this and a palisade however the palisade is much nicer interior. XT6 needs a upgrade
I think it still looks great. Agree on the engine. A+++ caddy.
The v6 still performs well. Besides I’ve seen significantly slower luxury SUVs

We need a XT6 V with the LT4 ofc.Tht would be awesome 🎉
65,000
That’s crazy they haven’t updated it. I use to love mines till the transmission went out
Thought I clicked on Grizzly Adams by mistake 😂
Caddy is fire 🔥
The more technology it has the more problems. Its elegant, simple, This is perfect 👌
Yes and No.
No it needs a bigger screen it's too small otherwise it looks good from outside
A V6 without a turbo AND NO CVT…Awesome
I have a white Cadillac XT6 2024 great vehicle very quiet inside the front seats are a little stiff 5600 miles already
Were you able to negotiate a significant discount?
@ I was a GMC return lease not a Cadillac return and GM discount
They need to make that grill bigger
It feels like 2017 all over again
Yes specially the interior it's a very small screen compared to the escalade and even the xt4
Isn’t being replace by the Vistiq or whatever the name of that new 3-row electric vehicle name is!?
I love how you can get everything you need to know about living with this car from the very sad intro lol
I am very disappointed that they haven't updated the digital cluster and infotainment system. Smh.
Wow I would of thought they would of had a full digital display for the price, and such a small infotainment system. Kind of boring...
This vehicle is just about outdated as my 2010 Audi Q7?! What in the heck Cadilac. No wonder Kia and Hyundai have gained so much ground over practically every manufacturer.... smh
It's easy to drive still a baby caddy I loved my little rental
Hey Ben can you try to find a used Camaro with relatively high mileage
Gold effect is copper woven carbon fiber
why is this thing almost $80K?
This one has just about every option . . they start at around $50,000.
7:11 I love the demographic comments!! Guess I can’t buy Cadillac!! Haha

And GM has just announced that there won't be a 2025 Xt4. GM makes such bizarre decisions! Not a well-run company. Never has been.
It’s aged very well inside and out. Besides I’ve seen newer luxury SUVs that are much worse than the xt6 in just about every way
Bare minimum put the 335 tune that the Camaro has. God forbid they put the new 2.5 turbo the new Traverse, Acadia, and Enclave got.
Only thing is it’s lacking Horsepower 400HP would be cool 😎 on the top model XT6 at least
Why don't they just say install the 3.0 twin turbo hay that is the one!!!😊
agreed needs more power
@@CRay-pc2hu it has enough. Remember there are slower SUVs in the class that are more expensive
Who's Caddy XT6 Really like this vehicle so does Ferrari as the copied the elements of the suspension
Cadillac is a outstanding car's
N/A V6 👍🏼
Yes it does, desperately. I'm a GM guy but this is less luxurious than the new GMC Acadia and the Lincoln nautilus blows this out of the water.
Lincoln Nautilus has zero reliability
No this has aged well. Besides I’ve seen much worse luxury SUVs that are newer
@naveenthemachine I'm not saying it's bad. Just compared to everything else in the Cadillac portfolio and some GMCs it's lacking (interior design wise).
*correction the aviator competes with this, not the nautilus
Yes Aviator is nicer but 10K more ...just saying you pay for the plush
Sounds like a leaf blower 😂
extraordinarily overpriced
Yes!
Needs an all digital dash.
There is absolutely nothing interesting with this vehicle
Not for the price, at least
Its a Cadillac, no one cares what you'll think about it
no one cares, its a nice suv that people will buy, no one gives a shit about a degenerate “enthusiast” opinion 🤣 🤡 🤦♂️
Then why watch/comment on video?
Yes it needs a redesign. Stale styling, bland interior and underpowered.
Change the infotainment and put an engine in a luxury car that is worthy of its looks and it should sell. Stop putting these average engines in luxury cars. Why pay 60k for a car with the same engine in a 30k car? Luxury is about options
I had rented this car for a week wasn’t impressed very stiff ride wasn’t soft ride infinity 60 series in suv was softer ride
I saw one for 78k whaaaaat... 😂
👍👍👍
It’s very outdated inside
@@jazzcepeda no it’s not. I’ve seen even more outdated interiors in newer cars
GM is keeping it that way for old people like me . . I don't like the "Tablet Stuck On Top Of The Dash" look at all.
Way outdated. That's why it's getting replaced with the Vistiq
Dated Dated and Dated. That’s a firm No!!!
Yeah, it needed to be redesigned when it debuted. Absolute worst vehicle in it's segment.
@@MercOne no it’s not. It’s not the worst. I’ve seen much much worse than the xt6.
@@naveenthemachine Let me guess, any Lexus product right? What car do you own? Are you old enough to drive?

What Mercedes do you drive? 🤣 You must be feeling very spoiled 😆
Target audience for this vehicle has to be 55+. Severely outdated and well overpriced
Buick enclave is nicer
Old and dated. Why do they not make it a baby Escalade. This is just so brutally ugly inside. 76k for a 4 year old new SUV

From what I understand the 3.6, despite being around forever and featured in countless GM products is still far from bulletproof. Crazy right!
@ same with 6.2L should be bullet proof! But it’s not.
guy is a tool to be bitching about whats playing on radio and getting triggered...lol
You sound sad 😢
I thought the same thing.
