the omniscient no sid plays that sample nd uses the cross fader for the siren sample. sid doesnt only jus scratch, a lot of ppl think liberate is criag too
i stand corrected; apparently they played metabolic 3 times: Scotiabank Saddledome, Calgary, AB, Canada on October 16, 2015 MTS Centre, Winnipeg, MB, Canada on October 14, 2015 Bismarck Civic Center, Bismarck, ND, USA on October 13, 2015

Herod The Great that's funny I started singing this part as I go through the comments and see this at the same time. Wtf. That's how you know life is good.
I appreciate the direction slipknot has gone over the years, but I love this too much to say that slipknot is anywhere near this tone or intensity to this day.
I do understand what slipknots about, its just I know what im talking about because Corey has said these things XD ever since he joined he has been working on techniques to scream... yes he always has absolutely screamed his balls off and screams his heart out but he has always done it with technique. He said in a live questionnaire that he always tried to balance between what feels natural/comfortable for him and what brutal :)
@piloto88ed This was back in 2000 when he simply screamed into the mic - and given this song was towards the middle of the set his voice was starting to wear out.
man I remember having half of this video back in 2000 and the sound quality was crapy and the image was all blurry but hey...it was Slipknot...good times...
man what happened to actual anger, depression and despair in metal. It's like it's "cool" to be that way now. The metal scene is just filled with poser's now. They don't get it. They don't get what it is actually like to suffer on a day to day basis and to be misunderstood and alone all the time.
It's not as recognised as some of their other stuff. Many bands have this problem as their biggest songs (psychosocial, duality etc.) are not necessarily their best, but are still good. They have to sacrifice playing songs like no life and others on 'slipknot', in the same way that they don't play much of Iowa other than diasterpiece, people = shit etc. Not to say that those four are bad songs, but they are just the big songs that they must play to keep a broad audience
Is it safe to say that these original masks are still my favorite masks slipknot has worn?... besides Craig's cuz I like how his spikes are just like long as hell now lol.... but these original masks where legit and because they where dirty and cheap it kinda fit the music lol haha
Paul's bass in this song is amazing
Brandon Espinal is it a Warwick?
liamjwolves yup. Looks standard corvette but I could be wrong
liamjwolves yeah it is, Paul used to play the Warwick’s back in the day

Nick Tsampas corey voice isnt like it used to that would be the big reason but it is a good song
@@heavy1metalforlife193 corey could still kill this song, it wouldn't sound as good but none of their old songs do today
Al Kaholic honestly. With his WANYK voice I think he’d do pretty damn good with this song
