I have a heavy bag that I kick once in a while mostly when I'm trying to get a good cardio workout, as for The 8 kicking principles I do enjoy practicing them on the mok jong as well.
I usually do my kicking while going up & down the room; and understand we should be making contact with the heel. But when bringing foot back down, should we land with toes / ball of the foot ? As recently occured to me that this may be better, balance-wise: in case of oncoming attack at that precise moment. (Don't have sifu anymore, as has gone to live abroad 20 yrs ago)

Your kicks look so solid..you make it look easy. Do you use gerk jong or heavy bag for your kicking exercises at all?
