Well, usually that kind of game has a price as well to help show it's crap. Plus the screenshots and blurps on the back also give hints to an awful game.
I never understood that phrase. I mean, both the north and south poles are cold places. I guess which pole you prefer would depend on how you feel about polar bears, which seems like a misnomer.
I had the “pleasure” of reviewing the Thundercats DS game, and I can personally attest to its wretchedness. But I DID get a laugh out of it being so broken that even the clock in the game didn’t work properly; I played it through on my 3DS for reference of how long it took to beat, and the in-game clock told me it took, like, a half-hour longer. For reference, I beat the campaign mode in less than two hours. 14/10, would use to shave my face again.
Peter's Catchphrase: "It's another WILDCARD entry!!" Ben's Catchphrase: "Oh yeah! Here we go, it's sports time!!" Ashton's Catchphrase: "Don't worry, it's a bit of a thinker." maybe????
Metacritic's 11% for 30 Great Games is still higher than 8% for Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. Though the user score is 2.6 vs 4.1, but that's because of all the 10/10 User Scores for Big Rigs inflating it.
That "Game Party" story mode sounds like someone on the team declared, "People like those arty-farty weepy games, if we give them a story like that, they'll HAVE to like it!"
Amy sounds like an intriguing concept, sad that it released the way it did. Sadly if they tried to do it again nowadays, people would just claim it's a TLOU clone.
I've bought some absolute garbage games before but I've never felt so betrayed by a purchase than the time I bought Infestation: Survivor Stories/The War Z on Steam. I think it was about $15 at the time. I normally wouldn't have cared too much since it wasn't expensive but it was such crap that I actually felt like I threw money away. Oh and this was long before Steam introduced refunds
Same here. I don't even know who Simon Miller is, or if he's even a real person, or just some sort of fake identity made up by these guys, to make us go on a wild goose hunt or something. If he is a real person, could someone go and check it out please?
@@shawnfields2369 He is a real person. He's part of the Whatculture Wrestling crew, he's a very likable, quirky personality from that channel best known for doing his "Ups and Downs" wrestling review shows for WWE and AEW. But every time I watch THIS channel I feel like I see them use Simon for a joke and I'm just wondering about the history there. In other words, I'd like in on the inside joke.
@@TheViper4Life Oh, ok. I mean, I've never heard of him outside this channel, or their previous channel, Vidiots, but sorry, I don't know a thing about him either. I just thought it was a funny running gag they liked to use. I know they did it on the Beverly Hills Cop game episode for Vidiots, but I legitimately have no clue why they're doing it. But I'm sure its just meant to be a harmless joke, like something you'd see in a ytp, just a joke, meant to make people laugh, and nothing else. It's definitely NOT meant to slander his name or anything. But; thanks for the info, because I had no clue who he was before. I mean, I've only been subscribed to TripleJump for like, a year maybe? They're not the greatest channel around, but they're alright, and they've got good editing, and Ben and Peter seem to have good chemistry, and quippy and snappy jokes, some of which hit, and some which don't, but they're still what I'd say is a good channel. But again, sorry I don't know about the origins of the Simon Miller jokes. I also didn't know he was affiliated with the WWE, either, considering I've been a huge fan of the WWE since 2003, but never seen or heard of this guy before. Maybe, they're referencing Simon, as a callback to Ben and (I think Peter too?) formerly being part of the Whatculture Wrestling Crew themselves, and maybe; Ben and Peter are joking around about Simon because maybe they're messing around with him, or maybe because they know Whatculture Wrestling themselves? That could be it. Because I've seen someone else mention it before; in a comment, saying that they recognized Ben and Peter from another channel(not Vidiots), but Whatculture Wrestling, and said they were glad that Ben and Peter were still successful at doing something like TripleJump. I think it was a comment on one of the "Worst Games Of" lists, there's literally 25 of these videos, which would take me forever to search for, but thanks again anyways, for your help though, dude.
did Ashton just drop a massive Worst Games Ever spoiler?! like that was a bigger twist ending then the sixth sense, if thats the worst game ever then....is that it?....is this the end?.....what else is there?
I still have a few copies of Orion Prelude in my steam inventory,, unable to get rid of them as I have to gift them away, I have no idea how they got there but there they sit.
2012 was the year of 7/10s. A lot of games came out but most of them were flawed. Redeemable, but flawed. Sleeping Dogs, The Darkness 2, Spec Ops: The Line, Playstation All-Stars, Kid Icarus Uprising, etc. A lot of "cult classic" games that deserve sequels but probably won't get one.
Party games should be left out of future lists given that they are going to obviously be the worst and therefore shouldn't be considered since they just cheaply pad the list.
