No, luckily there are no raccoons or cats that get to them
In most neighborhoods raccoons aren’t that common so I think they are fine with it 👍

Facts I want to know why people like them so much
Basically, skinks are like bearded dragons. They’re relatively easy to take care of, maintenance cost is low and you do not need nearly as much insects as a bearded dragon! Also, you can use dog food to feed them.
They are moderate in size, simple setup and low maintenance, totally fine with dog food so you don’t need to keep insects, and their appearance.
Northerns are low humidity required 40-60 which is most house. Dog food is great staple they’re docile.
They are very simple and easy to care for! They also tame down very well as they get older so you are able to interact with them

The bans haven't gone through yet and because we have them in secure enclosures
I have a couple pets and I am going on a couple of trips with my family this summer so what should I do with my animals. I am really nervous and need to do something fast because we leave for a trip next weekend.😖😞😕😫
Ask friends or other family members to take care of them while on vacation.
If you can't find anybody to take care of it right you shouldn't go on the vacation you have to find somebody that knows what they're doing not just by reading and looking it up I would start training somebody now if you have somebody that can come over and do it or stay at your house there might be some sites you can look at for pets pet babysitting but I still want to trust that if you can get a friend or family member to do it and just have them stay with you for a week to show show them how did you everything it would be better and then you can pay them to
I moved to a different state then where all my family is so I have no family. I also can't choose not to go on the trip because my parents planned it and I cant stay home alone for a week. But I have a neighbor that I can teach.

I'd love to watch this video. But I know it will be absent one very important member. What happened with Hera? I am very concerned that it appears she was not taken to a vet and left in a horrible state alone overnight. I would not leave my tegu's side if my baby was in that state.
Hey Irie, unfortunately Hera passed. She had a ruptured uterus wall from laying eggs. There was no time to take her to the vet. She died hours after she was seen with any problems. Talking to Tegu breeders, there was nothing that could have been done

You guys seem to really care about animals; it was shocking that it seemed she had been left alone overnight in that state. its my birthday on the 17th june and i really want a giant day gecko but my mum is saying no and its not fair because she says no more animals but 2 of our 3 are my sisters. i have made a whole power pint to persuade her but it will never work so i really want someone to surprise me with one

Omg the larger of the crimson iguanas (they are both fascinating and beautiful although I'm not sure if I can morally get past them having issues with their sight, I guess it depends on the extent and if it affects them in their cage life). It was so cute when you touched his crest and he got all squinty. I wish I had the room for an iguana I think they're amazing. Maybe one day...

honestly very unsatisfied with my purchase i spent 300$ on 5 geckos and i live in az they advertised air shipping etc they did have terms and conditions blah blah blah but so we just enterd summer i asked if it doesnt cool down enough if i could refund and they said there will be a 25% cancelation fee wich is unrealistic to the losses they recieve if ne 1 else had this issue plz contact me i believe its sueable its there buisness i shouldnt lose money over unseen circumstances...ne 1 else have an oppinion?
i have comuunicated with david and he is working with me for the safety of the geckos he will hold them for free till weather is better ty david for working with me man

I know that reptiles are creatures who wanna be free like you and me ✌ You like them, too? Be useful and do something for their habitat or whatever. Captivity is nothing else than a torture for them. And even more under such circumstances as we can see in the Video.

@@j.a.7993 if you release these animals out to the wild, they will die because they're used to being cared for in captivity and won't know how to survive by themselves. And they could also become invasive
