I think it has upsides, as long as it’s functional.
Your workload explodes in the cockpit when you have an engine failure on short final for example.
It’s a good thing Lay-outs are compressed and well thought out so Troubleshooting goes quick.

Swiss: *looks at the instruments and says they are good to go.
Me: ffs! If you were to actually go into the FMGC and go to the INIT-A page, and do certain stuff the way they're supposed to be done, the ADIRUs would take at least 6 minutes. I mean, the ADRs gonna align very quickly, but the IRUs are gonna take way more time. The reason your IRS actually aligned instantly is because FFA has a cheat which instantaneously aligns the IRUs on engine start.

I fly the Flightfactor A350 in xplane 11 a lot and the reason why it’s a bit difficult to land the A350 is because of its high angle of attack. Seriously, it can pitch up as high from 3 to 10 degrees when landing.

Preeeety sure you need to switch the AIRDUs to NAV not ATT, and the AIRDUs operate independent from GPS. They can determine your position based on where on the rotating earth you are, measure and integrate future movement with laser gyros, and integrate VOR/DME measurements.

    Me being a A350 PILOT,
It is not that much of a easy task to fly any jet especially commercial ones. One when I was working with Jet Airways, where I was the first officer, ME AND MY CAPTAIN both forgot to turn on the Seatbelt Signs on for which DGCA (DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF CIVIL AVIATION) suspended our licences for a week.
WHEN YOU RHINK Something TO BE VERY EASY THEN YOU HAVE TO FORGET SOMETHING, THATS WHY DONOT THINK FLYING THIS COMMERCIAL JET IS EASY. And the toughest part is to control the plane during hydraulic failure cause in the Airbus not the whole control is with you. To be rational, 50% of control is with you and the other 50% control is the hands of the computer.

a lot of simmers think that flying the airbus is just about pushing buttons. So many commit the mistake of simplifying an airbus flight without realizing that to be an airbus rated pilot is almost like being an expert of all the different system architectures. Sure, if things are normal, the thing will fly as smooth as butter. Until you hear that ecam alert, you got to know what systems are affected and what protections are lost. Airbus is a tricky beast. especially the A350. There is a reason why ratings on these a/c’s don’t come in cheap.
