A big drawback to the Ranger Raptor is the reduced tow/load capability and much lower range. I think it’s more of a toy than a “truck”. The Lariat at around the mid $50s has the 2.7 V6 from the F150 with 400 lb/ft of torque. It tows 7,500 lbs and has about 160 lbs higher load rating. Insurance is cheaper too. That’s my .02¢
I mean I’m a fan of having options personally. I live at 7,000 ft and pull a trailer up to around 11,000 ft from time to time. NA engines start feeling really lethargic up here compared to these turbo engines.

Its pretty standard that the offroad version isn't as capable for towing or hauling.
The XLT without FX4 package has the locking diff switch on the center console near the armrest along with other switches.
Nice. It’s like the 21-23 ranger tremor. I have 21 tremor & stock tires are the exact same size.
I was just about to say the same thing. I also have a 21 Tremor
I like the look but I think it needs aftermarket wheel flares to cover those BFGs.
Nice probably more reliable than tocoma
More reliable than the new Tacoma, not the last generation.
Ranger looks good for a midsized truck
i really wish they offered trailer mirrors for the ranger, I just got use to them and miss them.
265/70/17 is a 31.5 inch tire!
Did he goof, are they 265/70R18. I've got these wheels in an 18" while deciding what tires I want.
I’d be interested to know the level sizing 2” or 2 1/2”… my XLT/FX4 2.7l is on order and I will certainly level.
Have you test drove the Ranger 2.7L ? Or are they still in production?
Obviously the ranger raptor
Is the wheel offset because of the beefier tires or because of wheel spacers?
I don’t know about the new ones. Pre 2012 is the best.
You can get the same engine as the old one just to let you know. And I think it's better now than the one before.
@@texandy89yes but all the technology is just too much on these. I got a 23 bronco with the lux package and sync sometimes has issues responding.
@1996ChevroletImpalaSS Yeah I can understand that. What color is your Bronco? Is it a Badlands?
Will this be like a Ranger Tremor when it becomes available
There was a Ranger Tremor package but I think it got discontinued with the Ranger Raptor’s introduction.
Do you think that ranger is better than the frontier and tacoma?
Ranger is absolutely a batter truck.

Agreed put superchargers in them instead!!!
Looks BLAND.
Ford put little effort into this redesign.
Infomercial….
