Great review. I think it's great that you are making an effort to collect Gi-Joes. I played with them in the 70s and 80s, with the fighting force and adventure team Joes. Course, at that time, they were much bigger figures and my parents wouldn't let me get to many figures/play sets. 🙂
Here's some reasons: wacky proportions. Rubbery hands can't hold their weapons well. They don't look good with the original figures. They're out of scale with the original figures. They don't fit in original vehicles very well. And so on.
@@upsbrinquedos Because they are smooth on the bottom…how would a vehicle of that size and weight move without traction? There has to be better realism in a toy like that.
@@davidmann8694 true... in comparison with other big vehicles (General, Rolling Thunder, MCC)... but realism was thrown out the window long before 2009 😉
Sadly this very might be the last big joe playset. The golden age of toys were in the 80s and now even the silver age has come to an end.
So true... these sets will be missed... that is why it is important to remember them and to let younger kids know of their existance...! 😁✌🏼

Yes, I still try... not an easy thing to do in Europe given the ever high prices of the old figures and vehicles... ✌🏼
This woulda been awesome in the 80s
It would have been awesome indeed. But back in the 80's there were other very cool stuff too 😁
The Joe's base was Rodimus Prime??
Excellent video and review of a very interesting piece of kit. There is plenty of play value in it.
Thank you! ✌🏼 It has, indeed, lots of value
Nice work love all Joe
Thanks 😁 so do I
Awesome review, Alex!
Danke Val 😁
@@upsbrinquedos Sehr gerne ;) :D
Rodimus Prime energy
Estás a dar-lhe com força! Mais um monstro! 👍😎
did they buy it from Jawas?
I cannot attest to that, Miyamoto san... 🤔 though the similarities to the old Czerka Corporation sand-crawlers are uncanny 🤣🤣 so Yooooo Uttini!
This looks so sad. Cardboard cut outs?
Yup... that's what they made for it... 🤷🏻♂️
What's a good price to pay for this ?
I saw two on Ebay from 187 to 240 usd... so extrapolate from there... but it all depends on how much you can and want to spend on one...
never understud the hate for none o ring figures
Neither have I 🤷🏻♂️
@@upsbrinquedos like all these new high end 3.75 inch figures out now feel about the same with more or less the same articulation
More accuracy to scale, more articulation, less maintenance, no broken fingers or pelvis 🤷🏻♂️ what more can one ask...
@@upsbrinquedos exactly I get there not the classics from the 80s but so
