Dude, there will be times when you cry, when you laugh, but its all worth at the end. And btw, it has a happy ending, just till you reach that, they will make you cry a few times. Ending is really deep and maybe confusing for someone, but when you finish, and if you dont understand, i can expalin you :D. Just go and watch it!
You maybe didnt know, so i will tell you. This is second season, you first need to watch first season. Clannad is first season, and Clannad After Story is second season. First season is not that good, but you have to watch it in order to make a strong feels with characters, then the second season is the best ever!
Sabian Ahmed it's a slice-of life anime. with a mixture of comedy. it mainly focuses on family and friendship. there are romance and drama and a little bit of fantasy going in there too. it also has a sub-plot about another dimension which is critical to what's happening in the anime
This trailer makes it look that way but it's a lie. The final half of this series will take a slice out of your heart and make you question whether happiness is even worth trying obtain. I mean it is a critically acclaimed series for a reason.
Clannad is 14 years old and the animation quality was insane for its time and even holds up really well today. It's still better than the majority we get nowdays, 14 years later. This kind of art was actually the standard back then and it has its charm. Way more than what we get today, thankfully. Trust me, you'll change your mind about the art after you have watched the series. I was just like you before I watched Clannad and Code Geass, yet both ended up being my favorites.
