I understand ronnies behaviour when it comes to clapping back at haters. It’s not only about the lies. Imagine making a mistake when you’re young and stupid and then people just throwing it at your face forever. Even though you went to jail for it and did your time. The guy changed and is just trying to move on with his life. But apparently he’s not allowed to do so. If it was someone from your bubble going to jail and then turning their life around, you’d be happy for them. But since he’s a public person we should bully him forever? Makes no sense to me.
I thought it was funny how he roasted Cadott, Wisconsin at the Rockfest 2023 show. He explained how the promoter ruined the show and how it was setup. the food was horrible, the stage setup, and how they were kicking people out if they got out of their seats. He was actually just being brutally honest.
For an audience of darkness they really don’t mess with someone dying 😂 But today if you’re a rapper that loves to say you took someone’s life, then all the little kids love them and worship their music like King Von.
I've seen musicians have their lives ruined because of false accusations of racism/sexism/homophobia/transphobia etc, but Ronnie Radke is not one of those people. I was hoping this video would be addressing the points Fantano made about Ronnie in his most recent video about him. But instead you ignored all of the accusations against him (except for the ones that are clearly false) and just blew smoke up his ass. I love your content Finn, but for me this video is a swing and a miss.
I haven't seen this yet and was looking through the comments to see if anyone talks about if he brings up Ronnie's latest Transphobic shit and I guess he doesn't? I was super disappointed about what Ronnie had said and was hoping that Finn would address it and call it out. I'll check this out tomorrow maybe... Idk thanks for being the only comment I saw on here about this.
It's definitely not the same to verbally hit back at someone who's trash-talking when you're alone in an arcade than on twitter when you have millions of followers, some of them stans who'll harass the person who criticized. Especially when Ronnie attacks people insulting them in a much worse way. The guy's got thin skin and is a belligerent asshole. He should of course respond (even sue them if necessary) to people defaming him, but he goes above and beyond and turns himself into the villain in those kinds of situations.
@@hoomancharkhkar9229 Yeah it was frankly surprising to see Finn basically give the ok to a "talk shit get hit" behaviour, which by the way puts you in the wrong immediately and is not ok in the slightest
I agree with Finn. But I think the point he was trying to make was that you might not be prepared for the conflict, physical or not, when you cross the line with your shit talking.
I think Finn brings up a lot of good points in this video, some I agree with and some I don't. BUT, I think the new stuff with Brad Taste and legitimate transphobic statements change a lot of stuff. Idk how long ago the script to this was made, but just look at some of the VERY recent stuff Ronnie's been doing, even after the topics of this video happened, and it's just not something that I could see you supporting.
I can write off a lot of Ronnie's antics as him just getting worked up too easily, but the transphobic BS really crossed the line. He made a fool out of himself when he either exposed that he doesn't know the difference between sex and gender, or was pretending he didn't just to make an ignorant argument. I don't boycott his music or anything, but it's hard to be a fan of his personally after some of the things he's said
This dude is almost 50, married a little girl 20+ years younger than him and you expect him to have moral ground against pronouns and gays?! 😂 wrong place bud
I understand your point with the people who try to bring him down through defamation, but honestly he does go too far sometimes. Like when he went off on I See Stars and their fans for no reason.
He had a rule for the other bands to follow since it was his tour and he was recently sober, no drugs. I see stars felt they were too cool to follow the rules. They got kicked off the tour for breaking those rules and I see stars started talking shit, whose fans followed suit. Ronnie fired back with a goofy solo rap track on UA-cam, I see stars wrote a whole ass single for their album about him. Let’s take a look at who is still around and bigger than ever and who disappeared just to drop some trash. I love I see stars more than falling in reverse but let’s be honest here, Ronnie definitely had a good reason.
I was a huge fan of Ronnie back in the Escape the Fate era in 2007-2008 and I was GUTTED he went away. I actually started making music myself in 2009 and it's my full-time job since 2015. Then he came back and I did NOT like the first album by Falling in Reverse. The songs and lyrics didn't click with me. A few years later the more recent stuff of Falling in Reverse was so damn unique and ahead of it's time. I have no words for it. I think he probably always was a bit ahead of the times. Absolutely amazing!
The stuff that has been proven to be right makes him a proper target for criticism. For instance throwing the mic stands in the crowd and injuring concert goers or the actual jail time he spent for assault. The stuff with Brad taste in music is shady and makes him look like he can’t take criticism same with his feud with Fantano. Now I agree with you on Tim from As I Lay dying but as a thought excercize why can’t we apply that same logic to Ronnie. The whole spearing the art from the artists thing applies here and is totally subjective base on your relation to that artist. There are completely legitimate criticisms about him and if you don’t believe in separating the art from the artists you need to remain consistent
Brad taste in music is an ego maniac and Ronnie is a moron for engaging because Brad gets off on it. And dude, no, Ronnie can’t take criticism. This is well known. It’s probably a good thing because if he did he’d have given up music after his bad rap album.
To my knowledge he actually paid for the victim of the mic stand incident's hospital bills and then some. There is a lot he does that only gets viewed on one side.
He did his time. The issue is people from this generation never letting go. At this point why even release inmates if people will not move on? Let's sentence everybody for life for the most ridiculous charges. He was in the wrong, he did his time, that's it. Let the man rebuild his life, in fact, let everybody who slipped once rebuild their life.
Okay but none of this gets rid of the horrible actions he takes against anybody that criticizes his music. Bradtasteinmusic has had all of his videos on FiR taken down several times because of arguments he had with Ronnie on Twitter. I dont care how "mean" brads criticism of the music was, he doesnt deserve having his videos claimed and his only source of revenue (youtube channel) potentially taken away because of it. Then theres the shit that came out from tankthetech about how only videos that praise the music are free from copyright claims which there is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR! I thought that as a content creator, you would be willing to talk about the fact that ronnie is abusing the copyright system to get rid of anybody who criticizes his music.
Also, Ronnie keeps going on about how Brad was "making money off of him" with these videos, when all of Brads FiR videos were never monetized in the first place.
Haha fuck that dude. It's his music and this dude wasn't making a constructive video about why he didn't like his music he was just blasting him to blast him. If he doesn't want someone doing that and claims it. That doesn't make him a bad person. Like Finn said these people learn or don't. Trying to hate on this dude simply because take down some random UA-camrs video, lol come on. I've seen plenty of UA-cam talking about why he might not be the best person I don't see him striking those down and they definitely use his music. The specific guy was going out of his way that's all it was. A personal feud between the two of them and he lost time to move on.
Finn, what he’s doing to Brad Taste’s UA-cam channel is NOT COOL. He’s being a really big crybaby about it, copyright abuse is no joke Ronnie’s life is like a video game, and he’s trying hard to beat the stage. All while he is still collecting coins
My favorite Radke moment was when he chimed in on the Trapt drama with a "can't we all just get along?" tweet. Pot/kettle, maybe. But also if anyone's qualified to speak on the subject, it's Ronnie.
Yo, peep game on Ronnie Radke, the straight-up musical genius holdin' it down in the game. This cat's got that mad talent to mix up styles like a boss, no labels can box him in. From frontin' Escape the Fate to tearin' it up with Falling in Reverse, he's droppin' lyrics that hit you in the gut and stick like glue. Ronnie's vocal game? Off the charts, man! He's got that smooth melody to hardcore screams, switchin' up like it's nothin'. And you know what's real gangsta? His fearless move into different genres, rock, rap, and electronica - he's breakin' molds and keepin' the game lit. Ronnie Radke's a legend, no doubt, bringin' that fresh sound that keeps us all vibin'.
Thank you for this. I'm not sure why people are still coming after Ronnie. It's obvious he's changed and grown so much over the years. He's admitted to and apologized over and over for some of the crazy things he's done in the past. What more do they want? Even as a fan I get frustrated hearing them still vomiting the same accusations and stunts he pulled years ago without giving him any credit for the things he's done to make up for them and grow.
Thing is, these petty spats & immature tantrums keep happening. There's definitely been an improvement on his part sure, though it comes with a lot of toxic behaviour that shows he's still got a lot of growing to do. Musically there's a lot to be desired too. If you're into what he does, honestly power to you, like what you like, not trying to take that away from you. For me, it's an unfortunate combo of Ronnie as musician & individual that's really unattractive.
@@ChristopherJames1993 ? No, I literally said that's the case for me & that ppl should like what they like. I'm fond of Lulu & Speedin' Bullet 2 Heaven despite their flaws. I also own multiple Daughters records despite what we know of its members. I'm in no position to judge ppl for listening to bad music by bad artists, but I wasn't doing that anyway. The comment was mainly about Radke's behaviour. That aside is for transparency's sake; not fond of the artist or the music, but not taking a shot at anyone who likes the music regardless. As I said, not trying to take that away from you.
Ronnie’s been copyright abusing a music critic named Brad Taste In Music, getting the same video with fair use and criticism removed 8 times in a row. This plus all the trans fearmongering is all i need to say he’s a bully who gets off on punching down. He needs the critics to tell it like he is, he’s a straight manchild. Usually respect your content but wtf was this? Hope he gives you a shoutout? Why can’t you tell it like it is?
I highly recommend to everyone plus the haters to read his book.... I just finished it after 2 days so about a full 7 hour read. Fucking phenominal. This guy is gonna make full circle from literally his highschool talent show to where he is now. What a fucking book man. I love this guy and the support he always has had is beyond Emense and bone chilling. This guy was literally born to be exactly where he is at now. After selling his highest arena at 10k. Theres no doubt this guy will continue to amaze and no doubt he will sell 15, 20 and hell maybe even a 30k arena tour...... woooooooow ronnie boy!!!!!!
I've always liked some of their music, I went to see the Popular Monster tour because I love INK and walked away becoming a bigger fan of Falling In Reverse. I also like how Ronnie really doesn't give a shit and speaks his mind.
“Don’t blame radke for being transphobic bc you talked shit first.” Yeah ok Finn. I like how you didn’t even acknowledge his whole “identifying as Michael Jackson” thing either.
I like most of your stuff, and am a huge fan of falling in reverse. I gotta be honest tho i think you missed the mark with some points. As someone that has been falsely accused of things i can empathize with not wanting to live every day with people spreading lies about you. But as you are a content creator i wished you would have touched on how he deals with criticism in a very toxic way and with someone like him that can have a negative impact. There is also the issue of genuinely dangerous behavior like the throwing of the mic stands and engaging with hecklers in a way that could lead to someone getting hurt.
On the mic stand, he lofts it, the people down on the floor are watching his every move. If he’s tossing it at the Mosh Pit that’s dangerous, anywhere else? Everyone in the area is getting their hands up at a chance for a mic stand and everyone else is getting out of the way. A recent dangerous one was the 50 Cent mic throw by comparison, that poor woman’s face. Watch that and compare it to any of Ronnie’s stand throws As for the hecklers IF YOU CAN DISH IT BUT CAN’T TAKE IT BACK WITHOUT GETTING BELLIGERENT AND HURTING OTHERS SHUT YOUR GOD DAMN MOUTH. Ronnie will dish it back, that’s built in to his DNA. These days he’ll only hit back with words, if that triggers someone in to a violent rage that is a them problem, not a Ronnie problem.
Escape the fate came and played with some local bands back in 2005, at the after party every member of escape the fate got hammered in a dangerous way and started doing wild stuff like jump out 2nd story windows and stuff.
Thank you for making this video, Finn! I've only recently gotten into FIR this year after my husband introduced them to me, and we've seen them live twice since then. I researched Ronnie's history early on after seeing some of the smack talk, and I personally find his brutal honesty and no nonsense attitude very refreshing. He also puts on a damn good live show!
Not the number 1 fan of falling in reverse, but I like a few of their songs and I’m a big fan of this guy as a person. I love how he talks so much Shit to all of his haters and anyone who slanders him on twitter. I follow him on there specifically for that reason. He’s in the top 10 pound for pound twitter champions of all time, hands down. Never a dull tweet. Always exposing THOTS, liars and thieves. His twitter usage and his shit talking, is what made me a big fan. Don’t change Ronnie. Don’t change
I like Ronnie's walk his talk. Not many are uncomfortable enough to reveal they have temptations and trials. Sees his screw ups and comes back, repeats that. Just keeps aiming for the target and hits it. Misses it, no big deal, gets back on it, hits it. His confidence in himself is a gem these days - a missing and needed fire in our generation of music. About time, the inspiration is running low. Saw him live this year at Red Rocks too. Badass. 🤘
2 main take-aways. 1) Don't be different online than in person, because what you say online, can come back to bite you in the ass in person, and 2) Don't run your mouth on/to someone who can drop you.
Finn you hit the nail on the head. I've been sober for 4 years. I started my personal fitness journey last year. In that time I got the best job I've ever had and I've held it, I bought a house with my wife and six-year-old. I bought two cars never had a functioning vehicle till then. I went from 210 pounds down 169 mostly muscle because I go to the gym 5 days a week. I don't eat processed food I don't do anything other than focus on being better than I was the day before. That is what made me connect with Ronnie. Not even entirely his music. Him as an example always looking forward and never looking back. Putting your foot down on your detractors and proving them not just wrong but petty. It helps that he has some absolute bangers. Point is being better than you were the day before most people never understand that or care. They would prefer to spend their time online dating someone they've never met. Take that energy stop drinking lose some weight and live a longer life.
I’ve been a fan of his since ETF while I do still think Dying is Your Latest Fashion is his best work (and to be honest it’s one of if not the best album of that era and will certainly stand the test of time) I’m thrilled he’s doing so well now

Yeah, this one's pretty yikes.
Imagine unironically watching Theneedledrop in the year 2023 LOL that could never be me
@@DVAwithaHandgun I've seen other comments mention his transphobic behaviour but yeah, it's a shame Finn didn't mention it
@@ChadKing69 Why are you replying to every comment and trying to defend Ronnie at all costs?
It's definitely not the same to verbally hit back at someone who's trash-talking when you're alone in an arcade than on twitter when you have millions of followers, some of them stans who'll harass the person who criticized. Especially when Ronnie attacks people insulting them in a much worse way. The guy's got thin skin and is a belligerent asshole. He should of course respond (even sue them if necessary) to people defaming him, but he goes above and beyond and turns himself into the villain in those kinds of situations.
Also if u hit somebody in the face you are still in the wrong
@@hoomancharkhkar9229 Yeah it was frankly surprising to see Finn basically give the ok to a "talk shit get hit" behaviour, which by the way puts you in the wrong immediately and is not ok in the slightest
I agree with Finn. But I think the point he was trying to make was that you might not be prepared for the conflict, physical or not, when you cross the line with your shit talking.
@@masonsabin6032 I guess that's a fairer interpretation, but my original point still stands I think
Exactly. Fantano's recent video on Ronnie perfectly highlights why the dude's a no good prick.
“Boy if you don’t get your marshmallow…” 😂 that was hilarious
I think one of the songs Ronnie wrote when he's on prison is "Listen up".
I don't boycott his music or anything, but it's hard to be a fan of his personally after some of the things he's said
Wow that's tough.
This dude is almost 50, married a little girl 20+ years younger than him and you expect him to have moral ground against pronouns and gays?! 😂 wrong place bud

At 11:57 you can see Finn's hardcore roots poking out
The stuff that has been proven to be right makes him a proper target for criticism. For instance throwing the mic stands in the crowd and injuring concert goers or the actual jail time he spent for assault. The stuff with Brad taste in music is shady and makes him look like he can’t take criticism same with his feud with Fantano. Now I agree with you on Tim from
As I Lay dying but as a thought excercize why can’t we apply that same logic to Ronnie. The whole spearing the art from the artists thing applies here and is totally subjective base on your relation to that artist. There are completely legitimate criticisms about him and if you don’t believe in separating the art from the artists you need to remain consistent
Agreed
@RafitoOoO the as I lay dying guy did his time too. I think op just wants some consistency
That 16 year old girl who Ronnie Radke threw a mic stand at really learned her lesson.
She messed with the bull and got the horns.
Yeah, she needs to work on her reflexes
She sure “fucked around and found out”
Thanks for the suggestion, love Arcane Ghosts's style!
Just like you and coming home were his best albums for sure
@@psych4003 if it wasn't monetized then why would he throw tantrums about the videos that were taken down?
I like you doing the artist spotlight thing!
Finn, what he’s doing to Brad Taste’s UA-cam channel is NOT COOL. He’s being a really big crybaby about it, copyright abuse is no joke
Ronnie’s life is like a video game, and he’s trying hard to beat the stage.

I absolutely agree!
He’s on Ronnie payroll
Doesn't Brad also fuck with him on Twitter though? He seems to dog Ronnie pretty often from what I've seen but idk who started it first.
Maybe because the script of this video was made before this shit happened?

Watch that and compare it to any of Ronnie’s stand throws
As for the hecklers IF YOU CAN DISH IT BUT CAN’T TAKE IT BACK WITHOUT GETTING BELLIGERENT AND HURTING OTHERS SHUT YOUR GOD DAMN MOUTH.
Ronnie will dish it back, that’s built in to his DNA. These days he’ll only hit back with words, if that triggers someone in to a violent rage that is a them problem, not a Ronnie problem.
