En Vogue will never have the level of success they use to have even WITH the original members. Times have moved on - no-one is expecting them, whatever the line-up, to have multi-platinum success anymore.
Rhona being there is not stopping them from celebrating with the fans. Line-ups change and members get added. There were nine Supremes, over 20 Temptations, and major lineup changes for bands like Atlantic Starr, Cameo, Kool and the Gang, and the Pointer Sisters. And people go see those groups and celebrate the music because at this point the brands are bigger than the members who have come and gone. I can't understand how someone who has pretty much accomplished nothing on her own can be so indignant. It's silly at this point to let this petty stuff get in the way of making money and thriving. If all six guys from NE can get on stage and work and entertain fans so can the five members of En Vogue.
I understand where she's coming from, but Terry and Cindy have never left the group, they have continuously been active as En Vogue. Thats why they have more rights to the name. Its not a reunion for them, they've never gone anywhere. She wants to re enter an active group, and kick out an active member that's been in the group for 17 years. They tried that for the 20th reunion and it didn't work. Rhona is not just a temporary member, she's been in the group for nearly 2 decades. It's ridiculous to expect her to step down, thats her group and livelihood too. Why would she just pause her career? I recently saw Cindy, Terry, & Rhona live a few weeks ago and it just was not the same sound. For music lovers, you want to hear that original sound. Maybe they can practice with Rhona to achieve a new sound or ask her to sit the anniversary tours out.

I love the original line-up, the classic EV4. I feel like Rhona has run her course and maybe she and Amanda Cole should get together and be a duo group. They could be like "Changing Faces", Zhané, and Terri & Monica. Plus, I agree with everything about what Dawn is talking about here, like a lot.

And, given my admiration for what these ladies did in the industry, it's quite sad to hear that a couple of the girls didn't have Dawn's back!! The original En Vogue fans need to bumrush Cindy and Terry's social media pages letting them know the fans want to see the ORIGINAL 4 for a 30-year anniversary tour (which should've been in 2020), and if they want to go back AFTERWARDS with them and Rhona then so be it.
