These jolibee commercials from the philippines are genius. You can never guess what will happen and youll find yourself crying with so much emotions. Full of lessons. Amazing
I love the small details/symbolism they added to the story. You can see in the beginning up to the part before the "choosing" part, the girl is still wearing the bracelet, and in the part where she's sitting before the gravestone part, she's holding the hand of Paul, both of that means she's still holding on to him, she still hasn't moved on. But the part where she's talking to Jay in the "choosing" part, they show that she's no longer wearing the bracelet, indicating that she now decides to move on and take another shot at love again. That's really well presented. I love it.

Jollibee is really good at hitting you in the feels with their commercials. All of them have hit me, some more so than others. When I first saw this, I was piecing it bit by bit that it seemed like the scenes with Paul were flashbacks due to them, except the graduation scene, were of Ann and Paul only. But I never expected that Paul passed away...I literally lost it when I saw the gravestone.
Am I the only one who keeps on repeating the “Jobillee” part? So cute 😂

I really have trouble watching any of Jollibee's commercials, because whoever wrote this should get an international award for shoving the knife into your soul and twisting it.. *HARD!* These are so well done, and so emotional, you almost forget the original point of the commercial which was basically for a fast food chain that originated in the Philippines.😁 If you gals are going to binge-watch these, you *better* invest in a couple extra boxes of Kleenex, because you'll need them!😭 Great reaction you two... now get busy and watch and react to the rest!🤣👍👍

trivia :the song Ann sang that portion where Jay rescue her from stage fright entitled “ To love again” is a song about someone having hard time moving on after you lose that someone special in your life and that is also the background song of the commercial, and kinda a hint for you how the story will end up, but of course the writers of the commercial want you to ride with the story , that the character Ann in the commercial is in a difficult process of moving on because she still holding on her past relationship with Paul, then Jay came along and gave her a new reason to live and to love again . I know this is kinda very late reaction but if you want to check the full lyrics of that beautiful song you can search it online and i know Daryl Ong has his own version of that song . Song title “To Love again”.

Thats why ,if you notice, the color tone during her time with jay and paul are different. With jay, it is natural, normal, but with paul, it is a bit yellowish or warm tone to make is it the past memory ,not current time.
