I like the split screen so we can watch the AT while watching you work the fish. I can see a person could spend a lot of time working fish that just don't want to bite instead of moving on to other fish.
Nice Romen. That's some great footage of the screen shot spliced in. Really helps to get a handle of what the active target can do. Appreciate your advice the other day on which rams to get for my boat, too. Subbed. Good luck with your channel. Looking forward to more of your stuff. Cheers PP
Hi there, firstly for the international viewers....Redfin Perch are a noxious introduced pest species that damage Australia's native fish population! Secondly that is correct however, I am not trying to pop their swim bladder and inflict a slow painful death by sinking them injured (that is why they float as the bladder is in tact). For the small to medium Redfin Perch, I use pliers to locate the spine while clamping down (gently to start with) and then clamp down while simultaneously swiftly turning my other hand (in the mouth) to end it really fast. I don't like to see a delayed process regardless of the species period!

Good to see the Redfin being treated as they should be - pests...
are you squeezing and killing the redfin with a set of pliers?
