I love Myth Hunters but I have yet to see an episode where they actually find the damn treasure! 😡 😅
It's not called Treasure Hunters... they seem to be successfully finding Myths though 😉
I’ve been to cocos. I did an 8 day scuba diving trip to cocos. It’s beautiful and in the middle of no where. Largest school of hammer head sharks in the world. I didn’t see any gold.
Man, how many buried treasure episodes does this channel have? The Curse of Oak Island TV show is going to have a run for its money if this keeps up. Although they're currently in season 65 anyway 😂
They might find a gold coin at season 100
I gave up watching that farkin show.
😂
@@NappyRB 😂
I live near oak island n trust me its just a tv show its not real lol
They have been digging for the past 10 years! Stopped watching! 😖
These videos are the shit. Makes me want to go gold panning or treasure hunting. Instead I'ma just work hard then buy gold lol.
Hey Siri, when does the next flight leave for Cocos Island, Costa Rica? .... Also, Siri tell my wife I'm pulling a "be back in 4-6 weeks" but really come back in 6 months.
well presented ❤❤❤ brilliant 💥
How was it profitable to steal treasure if you were going to bury it in the ground?
Becuse you have so much you have to put it somewhere for safe keeping.
It's not about the treasure, but rather the friends we made along the way.
Pirates lived in the moment. They would not bury a treasure. They would just take it and spend it until they ran out.
Why put money in a bank ?
Contrary to belief Pirates etc did not bury treasure, it was split up amongst the crew, it was their payment and alot of the times got more than the captain, if the captain wanted to go hide it the crew would not have had that happen the Cpt could even be voted off and another voted in his place, the treasure was everyones not the Cpts.
I found that treasure. It was a good find. I simply walked past the holy grail and Santa's hat 13 paces and it was lying there right beside Cleopatras tomb. Silly pirates.
He was looking in the wrong place.
He should have walked around the island listening for where the music is loudest. The treasure will be there!
Cocos Islands? We’re going, right?
Got a boat?
So I got a couple of canoes and a metal detector out here in the Utah desert
I will join, I'm a great navigator and can dig for days 😅
We ride at dawn
@@DaddychiLL6 People are not allowed on this island, guards did find some treasure recently
Someone needs to go out there with a metal detector.
they have it became a boat anchor ⚓
Arrrr matey - foiled again!
Loving your channels, Great videos and always keep me gripped to find out did they or didn't they find the treasure/s.... Please keep them coming, Thanks again for ALL the time and effort you guys put into making them
Lots of someone's have gone to Cocos Island with metal detectors. There are stories that claim someone discovered and removed whatever treasure was there.
This is the real treasure hunt but the lucky is not smiling.😮❤
Excellent information and narration. What a man and his determination...
5:29 wilhelm scream 😂
Edit: lmaooo there are so many wilhelm screams
Old Jack, where’s my passport lol
What an awesome doc 😃
Nobel for a treasure drama nobel!!😮❤
Id probably stay, looks like heven
How many fish and coconuts could you eat before you longed for a steak? 😮
That's what the rats be telling you, don't believe...
So, what happened the 1st guy who just LET this guy steal this info from his grandfathers diary? He never continued his search? THATS why he was on the boat in the 1st place!! THEN, this guy just happens to GIVE him a map with location of island!? I call b.s.
Edward Kenway for sure went there
yeah from Assassin's creed 😉
This is what "Treasure Island" is based on, isn't it? The original source material.
Pirates divided their treasure booty among themselves but the captain got a larger share, sometimes much larger. He might have to bury a large part of it for safekeeping because he couldn't carry it around with him.
Here's a thought. If the original maps are still available....it sounds like started looking for the treasure 80+ years after it was buried. My guess, they used the stars to navigate/plot by back then. Would the natural shift of the stars and planets over time made his map inaccurate?
Ar.aye - thel nevr fin me tresur HA!

Cool
Is all gone .. I’ve taken the lot … went Monte Carlo blew the lot 😮😊
I know what the story says but IF I was said pirate....................In modern day England a thief steals your stuff and sells it asap to get money.........makes sense the treasure was sold to a government or some other Fence of the time. Bury treasure? nope sell it!! GREAT GREAT CONTENT AS USUAL!! CAPTIVATED FROM THE START!!
The treasure is actually buried near Napo’opo’o on the big island of Hawaii.
This would make an amazing drama movie
I always love these stories lol Oh, you have a map? You're far from the first person to have it lol The map exists to recover the treasure. At that point, the map is now a commodity to sell as a treasure itself lol The cache is long gone. But like Oak Island, the story and adventure is the fun part.
The treasure was the island he got to live on.
If we're to find a very old treasure. I am certainly not telling anyone.
That treasure is not on cocos island. Follow the story there was no Capitan by that name. The Vicroy of Spain over Peru had the churches load it on the boat n took it for himself. Then retired in the middle of the fight, which nobody would’ve done.
"It was a genuine treasure map! Mr. Bimbo told me so"
Wonder if anyone has taken a metal detector to the island?
is the hideous music necessary ?
At least he was in a nice environment to live out his fantasy.
The treasue on Cocos Island was the basis of a Charlie Chan Movie
Didn't it say it was 2miles in on the. Island and they planted a tree on top of the treasure
Credit to his wife who stayed with him All those years
In the middle of the Pacific ocean... 350 miles off the coast.
Don't they know how big the Pacific is 😅😅😅😅
There's talk that Donald Cambell, financed his water speed record attempts with treasure from that island.
If found, the curse of gold greed will kill the seekers
I feel like 20 strong pirates could move one of those big rocks and bury the treasure under.. I mean no one would ever think to look under them rocks.. Which might be the obvious location because nobody believes those rocks could be moved..
You may got something there, jackhammer here I come.
@@winterwolf2012 if you find it a small piece of gold will be appreciated 😂
To be honest Cocos island don't match the map referenced in the video. It got 9-12 different peaks not 2 prominent ones and 3 separate mountain ranges so yeah should have tried more then the first island he found and he could have had a chance XD
One minute in, already know that they found nothing.
The treasure is hidden in various locations on the island. One location is near a river the empties out on the south western side of the island. Several chest and the pure gold, life size statue of the virgins Mary holding baby Jesus. This treasure belongs to Lima!!!!
Oak island 11 Seasons..Hmm I think we are the Gold 😂
If he found gold coins around I imagine they hit it with the dynamite n it spread around
bull not a chance
Lol im in Coocoo island for me!
Why do people think that if some thief thieved cash from someone, honest people could claim their loot and walk off with it Scott free.
One Piece let's go !
A person can make more money working at McDonald's than looking for treasure.
Nah, another doco says Robert Louis Stevenson found it - based his novel Treasure Island on it, and financed his last days in Samoa off the loot!!
That poor island! Dug up for nothing.
Okay seems like alot of important info missing in the beginning. It doesnt say why the treasure would still be there. I'm sure if the pirate captain and another guy buried it on a island. I'm sure he had probably 20+ crew mates on the pirate ship and they all new what was going on. One of them could of just came back later and grabbed it. It doesn't say anything about the Captian and his mates not ever being able to come back to the island because they all died or got imprisoned before they could do so. Unless I missed something. But why are they so sure there is treasure there? Something had to happen to the entire crew immediately after
And it doesnt say anything like that. If nothing like that happened. It sure as hell already got recovered long time ago by 1 of proably 5🎉0.differmrt😊
What's a pirates favorite letter?
Haha I can trace my family to a few pirates..one being sir francis Drake..and a Captain Harris who was a privateer and a bit of a turn coat on one hand i believe he took money to procure guns for the red coats but kept the money and gave the good guns to the patriots but gave crappy substandard muskets to the brits he was a hero and a Benedict Arnold in a sense and ended up in America after the war..pretty fascinating guy 😂
Pirates did not go around burying treasure. They squandered it all on rum and women.
Anyone that actually finds treasure keeps theirr mouth shut
Shud be good content for a new story. ''The Priests Gold'' From where they looted it?
I'm more impressed with his wife.
Spanish gold but a cringe-worthy collection of mispronunciations: Cocos, Galapagos, Costa Rica.😅😅😅
As a palestinian, I'm thinking about the colonizer who came to my home on a boats to steal a treasures too! A bloody treasures!
A people who was not there originally AND took a land by force cannot be colonized YOUR ANCESTORS WERE THE COLONIZERS.
