- A while ago I have filmed these 2 Focus RS's at the Nürburgring Boulevard. We did a little video shoot with both and I have some scenes made during the whole day. Enjoy the video!
Also, on the end of the video, there are some scenes of an event in Holland where they went.

MK2 sounds so great with that 5 cilinder, compared to yet another farting canon... there are already enough golfs doing that, don't do that with a Focus RS please. Exhaust note needs to be good, not loud.
Unfortunately most 4cyl turbos sound the same now . Still love the sound of my stock RS though .
Massive difference from the mk2 to the mk3 the sound and presence is night and day....the mk3 can hold it's own on track though..👍🏻

The Mk2 was always going to sound better, but the way the Mk3 driver modulates the throttle to show off the sound he has all the finesse of an awkward woman stumbling along in stilettos.
Mk2 never got 450hp. Much too less wheelspin for that! And too slow acceleration for 450hp

@@daynight1921 mate. The engine in the mk2 is made by volvo. The engine in the mk3 was developed from mazdas L engine. Read a book some time.
So your comparing motors instead of the whole package. So you should never call any manufacturers name again maybe they use the same material from asia lol.

@@herpderp1662 Its not made by Volvo though. Only the engine block and some auxilaries are the same. The Focus RS engine has its own pistons, rods, cams, turbo etc etc.
And the st as standard doesn't even make noise at least the mk3 makes a noise and for a 4pot sounds good
These mk3s are awful, turned into a car for the masses and I've never heard a car sound so shit!!! Well done Ford! Even the fartbox golf r sounds way better! All my love goes to the mk2 focus rs! Epic car!

MK3 has indeed no 440hp but 400hp / 640nm according to the owners Instagram
the power 400hp+ is better on the mk3

Lol, funny because ford got the 2.3L engine from when they co owned Mazda. Ford was too lazy to develop an engine of their own. They did it for both gens. Sure it has awd, but I don’t really care about 0-60 times when my car sounds like a fart can catless.
