Is the adjustable eyelet on the mounting plate drilled into the kayak? Im wondering it its just slightly threaded down, or a nut underneath? Thanks for the vid.
I have the one made for the chute (wrecking ball version). I like it, but it really needs a chanfer of something still so it comes up and sits in the chute like it supposed to. Mine is about 50/50 on going in the chute
I have the titan 12 love it. Have been looking for a new anchor I've been using the claw style for years. And already have the anchor wizard with the mounting plate up front. Thanks for making this video I'm about to order da bomb anchor. Tight lines brother.
I like mine in front so I can see it plus you can run an anchor trolly system if you want with it. Some people even run one in the front and 1 in the back. It all depends on preference.
I have an anchor in the bow and a Yak Gadget stake out anchor in the stern so I can lock them down in most situations, and it keeps me planted no matter which way the wind blows and it just works well for me.
The rivers I fish you need anchors on the bow to be facing up stream, otherwise its really difficult to fish with strong current hitting the back of your kayak
Nice. I really want to install this Anchor Wizard on my Native Watercraft Slayer Propel 10 MAX kayak. Problem is, I mostly fish deep water (by "deep" I mean over 100 feet, typically around 100 and 120 feet deep) for lake trout and whitefish for which I need close to 200 feet (if not more) anchor line out in the water, but this Anchor Wizard does not look like can hold that much line (it's like more suitable for shallow water only due to limitation on amount of anchor line it can hold and reel in/out). I am wondering if it is possible to replace the anchor line that comes with this Anchor Wizard with some thinner (but strong enough) line, and hence can accommodate much longer (say close to 200 feet) line.... Thank you.
YakGadget has a sidewinder that will probably hold that much line. Check them out they have some cool stuff. You might get away with running a smaller line, I don't see that it would be a big deal. Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe.
Regardless if you are deep water fishing and the amount of line your dropping. "What if" scenario a big fish or a collision course. Will you be able to lift 120 to 200 feet in time to get yourself out of a dangerous situation? Or cut your line? I don't know how to hook a quick release to one of these systems. That's why I haven't made a purchase. So I'll just stick to my five rig anchor system.
It works great on flat rock bottoms too because it just rolls around in a circle because of the way its made with the piece of metal sticking out the top where the cable fits through it. Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe.
You'll love it my friend it's just simple to use and works great. You can actually use one on the front and back to keep from spinning, I've been wanting to try that. Thanks for watching, please like and subscribe I need all the help I can get.
My junk native kayak broke in the first 3 days and Native wouldn't do nothing about it they put some glue on it and laughed at me never buy a native kayak
Man this whole video of yours going to save me so much annoyance when i get mine installed. Thanks!
Thanks for watching, glad I was able to help you out! Please like and subscribe I have a lot more videos coming up.

@kenhuynh275 Hey, I appreciate you watching! Merry Christmas
I’m mounting my anchor wizard today. Guess I’m ordering a DaBomb lol ! Thx for the video I’m going to subscribe too
Hey I appreciate you watching! You'll love the DA BOMB it works amazing.
I wonder if a heavy duty plastic cone over the cable of DAbomb would help it into the chute there..?
where can i get that plate to mount my anchor

@@matthewmeltonTEAMMELTONFISHING I did
Does that handle mount only work for the titan I have the native manta ray propel and I don’t want to drill any holes
The plate on the front of my kayak is just for the Titan but Anchor Wizzard offers a universal plate that mounts to the track.
Two years late but shave the anchor tip round so it can always go back correctly.
Where did you get the eyelets that mount in to your track?
Yak attack
Have you had any problems with the chute part?
No not at all, it all works great together.
Isnt front the worst place to mount? In any current it puts you backwards

Does that anchor work ok as a kinda drift sock?
Great setup
Thank you Ray! It works great, I've been very pleased. Have a great day!

@@matthewmeltonTEAMMELTONFISHING a question where did you buy the plates to mount the anchor look at some plates

I anchor right below dams and I want to be facing them

Use smaller diameter line. Why not just use the heaviest braid u can find?

Your mounting plate is upside down!! Flip it over, it’s shaped to go along with profile of bow, so it’s not sticking out!
Does da bomb work on flat rock bottoms as well? Seems like it would just roll along.

Thanks buddy! I can't wait for it to cool off a bit and get out of the 100s so we can go.
You need power poles
