Teruki was a champ this episode managing to tank most of Mob’s attacks and saving lots of citizens while on the brink of death.
He understood the assignment. The important thing about Mob was never his power, it was his compassion and selflessness.
Ye and the boss of claw were the only dudes to take more than one hit and keep going. At least the boss got to walk away. This poor lady didn't quite have the defence to not get slaughtered
So many parallels to the first encounter these two had. It's insane
And teruki has grown so much since then it's crazy

@MageBurger why would you edit it 😫
Anyone else really sad to see Mob hurting regular people after he has been through so much? Teru is a real one for saving all those people.
Especially since he’s not in control of his powers and is seeing all the destruction his vessel is causing.
@@masterzombie161his alternate self didn’t give a dame, especially after being locked up. Mob tells him that he shouldn’t hurt others to do what that, and he’s all like “I’m gonna do whatever I want, if that includes hurting or killing people, good!”
Teruki just stole this entire episode. His determination to stop Mob,who helped him overcome his egocentric self and pay him back by protecting everyone just like Mob would do in a different context is just spectacular character presentation and development. Props to BONES for putting so much emotion and passion in this episode. 100/10.
pd: Matsuoka did a badass job with Teru’s voice in this ep, AMAZING
To me the peak of the episode was toichiro, a battle between mob and him would be super epic
@MageBurger i think 100% mob would have beaten Toichiro its just that Toichiro had been saving up his power for 20 years.
If I recall correctly, Mob just went berserk when facing Teruki the 1st time when his percentage reaches ???%
Friends help their friends out of their delusions. Mob did it for Teruki.
And hilariously, Teruki is now living his previous fantasy of being the main character. And he doesn't even know it.
He became the shonen protag he always wanted to be
I suspect he knows, but the important thing is. It nolonger matters. The people around him do.
@@singletona082 Exactly. Its not about being the cool, special guy who gets all the girls. Its about helping those who can't help themselves. Show don't tell at its greatest, too. Teru hangs around a bunch of girls, is the head of this school of delinquents, and abuses his powers. This episode, he helps everyone; puts himself above others. And the writer never has teru say what he wants. Instead, he shows us.
I don’t think you realize how deep and amazing your comment is.
Studio Bones really emphasized on Mobs' subtle movements that really just make him feel inhuman. Like the way he leans over to stare at Teruki when he's on the floor, or how he sways his head seperate from his body. It really gets the point across that what we are looking at isn't Mob at all. Bones did absolutely fantastic!!!
@@enmunapIt’s not Mob, it’s Shigeo.
@@re-blitzit actually is still “Mob” since that’s his nickname
Teru loses more fights than he wins but he's still best boy. He deserves all the love he gets from the fans.
In a way Teru won this fight.
Not by power but determination and by being the protagonist that he wanted to be.
Teru won the moment he revealed that he saved everyone, even on a brink of death.
This was so amazing.
If you realize it, teruki never used his powers against mob, only to defend and help others
A direct opposite of what he was like before (aaah character growth is so nice)
He did try to bind him with his scarf, but yeah I get what you mean. He’s amazing.
Not only that, where he used to get sick after being defeated. He finally shows in this episode that he realizes beating up the opponent isn't the only way of winning a fight. It's such a nice character development, considering he was always about defeating his opponents even in Season 2.
Shigeo, on the other hand, full on the killing task
the way mob looks at teru when he's on the ground is chilling
yes, it seems that it is not human
1:30
Mob jumpscare
No I literally sqeaked. Kind of amazing that Teru didn't faint right there
“You got games on yo phone?”
I love how when Teru first faced ??? Mob he was completely humilated, but here he keeps hanging on against the same monster he couldn't hope to defeat. Even when his hair gets rekt again, he still manages to look fierce and save everyone, because now he has something to fight for.
What a good friend. Hanazawa knows how much Mob is hurting and tried his best to help him and everyone. He's come such a long way
Two favorite things about this ep:
1) The use of Mob’s 100% Courage theme
2) The fact that Teru actually won their fight by saving the bystanders. That’s what Mob would think.
by saving bystanders and wake up Mob, at least a lil bit, inside, even tho he doesn't know he achieved that.
You forgot the reign of terror ???% Mob. I just love how this was all set up.
Teru stole Mob's vibe 💀
Just Love how Teruki has more budget in his eyes than most people in the anime
Mob Psycho 100 is a passion project for Bones at this point - the treatment they give the source material is masterclass. I'm gonna miss this show when it comes to an end.
it aways was a passion project
@@Zelldic27 its called overworking ur workers. Japan has a problem with that there was a panel with mad hiuse and the dude talking had bags under his eyes and they where swollen from lack of sleep. All these people do is work long hours all week sometimes they are forced to go out for drinks with their superiors and supervisors who are well rested only to go home shower get some new clothes and back to work they go. Its actually sad we need to bring awareness so it changes.
@@Wolf-md2ui yeah, but bones is definitely not as bad as other studios like mappa in terms of working conditions, they are above average
@@Wolf-md2ui i agree with the overwork part, but mob is indeed a passion project from bones.
@@josuegarro5437 not really they pay the literal industry average. Not much off a difference if u gurantee 700€ per month or 750€ per month in one of the most expensive countries where u have to live near a city
props to teru for being the only one to survive two fights against mob's ???% state what a GOAT
Don’t let this distract you from the fact Tochiro is currently airdropping into Seasoning City
Teruki even without hair in this episode is badass af 😤 a true friend and rival
if you have to learn something from ONE's work, is, that if is bald, is stronk!
@@niteliniN and RIPPED!
This episode was outright unsettling. Knowing how kind Mob normally is, it’s kinda scary to see him with such little regard for human life, even if it seems like it technically wasn’t him.
Mob at this point is gone until later, Shigeo is in control
@@shrimpman. I think he would be more menacing as Kageyama san
@@shrimpman. Nah, this is White T Poison.

I don’t know if it was intentional, but I really like how they went through the main battles of the series in the same order: first Teru, then Koyama and Sakurai, and finally Suzuki.
This sums up very well how all these characters changed thanks to Mob.
I'm betting my beans on this being 100% intentional. And the quick explanation being, this was all about Mob and the final fight should be fitting. Suzuki was like, yo this ain't even my problem, I've family to take care of. Reigen and Dimple were the only that actually had a link with Mob and finally being the last stepping stone for Mob to gain control over himself.
I really wish we had a movie or another season of these guys being late teenagers.. Teruki definitely will be top class op by the time he grows up. I want to see their character growth after this season(well more of it) mob physco need more love.
@MageBurgerhis writing a new series called versus
Chapter 1 is already out
@@zenithlyncadet8984 i wish mob wasn't dropped so early
A better title should be “Hanazawa faces his trauma directly”.
Alternate title: Hanazawa gets tossed into the next county
They're really managing to give every major character a perfect, well-rounded arc. God I love this anime.
I love how much teruki has changed since his first fight with mob
I love how they brought back Teru's classic pose when he fights
They never retired it tho. Every once in a while when he gets into a serious fight he's show getting into that stance. Impressive how they turned something so silly into so badass.
@@kindlingking I guess this episode was so intense I paid more attention
Love to see the character development teruki has gone through.. he is a great example that mob impacts everyone he encounters or fights.
He who started as this guy who thought that psychic powers are what make you special and better than normal people has changed.
It's terrifying to fight Kageyama in this state though,so props for his great bravery as well.
plus he's one of the few people who truly understood what was lurking there. he knew what he was getting into.
Even though Mob went Psycho, Teruki did well to hold his own for as long as he did
The way Mob was animated this episode was so good props to Studio Bones 👏🏾👏🏾
So this where all their budget went instead of my hero.
@@inaikii4805 💀💀
@@inaikii4805 I don't blame Bones. MHA has become a poorly written mess. There's no point on wasting animation money on that show because fans are gonna watch anyway.
Imo Bones probably sees MHA as just a cash cow to fund the projects they actually care about. Mob Psycho is the biggest example.
@@NightEnigma8 I don’t either. I just kinda miss the sakuga animation for the big fights in my hero.
@@NightEnigma8 yeah, but at the same time we can’t compare a 25 episodes per season yearly release to mob psycho 12 episodes every 3 years (where the art style of the series helps a lot as it isn’t super detailed), with the fact that this is mob last season and of course they want to go big, specially since the animation was always a strong point of the series
Everytime a op esper showed up teruki was always there to throw hands the legend.
When this season is finished. I'm gonna binge the entire show as this series is an absolute masterpiece
same. Love this story as a whole
It's crazy to me how Mob almost looks like a feral inhumane creature or something like that. The way he moves and stares and the way he slouches and walks. It's oddly terrifying
Its time for Teruki to show Mob all he’s taught him
Season 1 Teruki vs Mob: MOB YOU HAVE TO WIN!!
Season 3 Teruki vs Mob: TERUKI YOU HAVE TO WIN!!
I feel like the most terrifying thing here is that this is that this is Mob's power unrestricted, like he was this powerful all this time, and yet he somehow never truly hurt anybody he met
And suddenly he's out there destroying things merely by existing,
Imagine being someone who fought him amd realizing that this is what you tried to fight
Teruki is so brave. He has no chance against the Typhoon that is Mob, but he still tries to bring Mob's senses back regardless.
This was such an awesome episode from start to end
Okay but can we talk about how amazing the soundtrack is during this scene? CHILLS
Studio Bones managed to convey the eldritch horror of ONE'S artwork in this episode. I was holding my breath 😱
Honestly this arc made me realise how terrifyingly powerful Mob really is.
When ep 11 released I was honestly scared to watch it, so I waited until the final episode release. The fact that Shigeo was trying to ignore this uncontrollable power all those years is just... Incredible.
Happy Teruki got the attention he deserves this season. I loved him since season 1, but not everyone shared that feeling. Now I think it won't be the case after this is over.
Oh same I love him so much. Third favorite after Mob and Reigen
He got sidelined really hard in season 2, though maybe not as much as Ritsu, which is why I'm so glad the final arc gives them both so much room to shine.
@@NerdMiGerd yeah Ritsu also kind of disappeared in season 2..
Teru sure has come a long way from the self-absorbed brat he used to be. This episode shows just how much he has grown as a person since his first encounter with Mob.
Season 1: Mob Psycho
Season 2: Mob Psycho
Season 3:
*Mob goes Psycho*
I don't think Mob would ever have been able to forgive himself if anyone died during his rampage. I don't think his psyche would have survived that. At best he would have become a shell of his former self; at worst, he would have completely lost control and would have to be put down. I think Teruki really saved him by saving those people.
God this anime started as a 10/10 but somehow is getting better each episode
HE WASN'T USING A BARRIER ON HIMSELF
IT WAS ALL FOR THE BYSTANDERS
Not gonna lie Teru has gradually become my second favorite character over the three seasons. His character development is insane 💫🌟👨🏻🦲
True, when he went for psycho helmet alone that did it for me.
and I guess the first one is Reigen, maybe I don't know just a guess
@@RonnyDoplo Dimple
It's so sad and heartfelt that Teruki expects the best of Mob, to bad ??? Doesn't realize this, he's just an obstacle
0:43 your not suppose to throw knives you can cause an accident
when you realize teruki is the only guy who went against ??? Twice and still survived
Mob finally went full Psycho 100
1:31 HAHAHAHA THE WAY HE JUST LOOKED AT HIM
That was a frightening but funny scene lol.
Teruki saving everyone while fighting mob at the same time reminds me of deku not stepping on all might posters
Teruki is a real OG! Whenever there's a powerful threat, he's the first one on the scene. He may not win, but he still tries. Respect
Its not about winning in this fight anyway its about stopping him
I absolutely loved this! You can really see Teruki’s character development throughout the anime, and it is clear he’s very determined to stop Mob. Bones did a great job at animating this! Cant wait for next episode :D
Also Teruki and mob have fought at least like 3 times now
1:32 broo its scary
I can't even describe how good this scene was. Mob psycho is a different kind of anime
At the start of this episode I was like “if Teru is getting smoked like this, no esper is stopping mob. The only one who could even stand a chance is-“ *sees the end of the episode* “NO WAY. NOOOOO WAY.”
This show is almost a perfect anime. Easily my favorite. Don't understand how more people don't talk about it
Almost?

*That's not Shigeo anymore. That's Mob Psycho*
teru is such a ride or die, what a legend
Teru is one of the best characters in this series. Goes from a cocky "I'm the protagonist" of this planet attitude to a bro who not only reasons with others but is actively trying to NOT use his powers on mob and even saves others even through losing his hair again, he smiles and proclaims "I'M YOUR RIVAL!".
Love how he saves the civilians before himself and wants to save Mon rather than hurt him
Had my jaw dropped the entire episode
What gets me in all of these fights is that these people are aware of how terrifying mob is and that they can’t win
just hearing this track again was so good
That simple throw was so cold.
Teruki was fantastic here, but I have to admit when it eventually cuts back to him with his head shaved again I laughed so hard
This is just middle school teru imagine high school teru he'll be a force to be reckoned with
I think you're missing the point of the show
This was brutal to watch. It was like Goku turning evil and the only one who can stand up to him is Krillin. Alone. Hopelessly outmatched but not backing down.
Teruki saving the civilians because he's a good person and because he knows that Mob would never live with himself knowing he hurt innocent people with his powers is the sweetest thing.
What I honestly love about Mob Psycho 100 is how they really make the psychics feel powerful. Like Teruki’s impact crater in the side of the apartment building feels so, well, impactful next to the scrambling citizens. It goes from “mob is too strong” to “mob is an active threat” very quickly. It’s just great writing from One and I love to see it adapted so well
Mob really did the Smash Brothers KO on Teruki
The soundtrack always fire
Teruki still has his pride, but he fights for everyone else now.
American school systems- don't mess with the quiet kid
Japanese school systems- seriously DONT MESS WITH THE QUIET KID
Absolutely incredible episode and it’s only going to get better from here.
Teru such a real giga chad
He is the protaganist of his own story, and whether anyone in universe acknowledges it. Tero did the right thing for the right reasons.
Teru always steals the show but he really became one of my favorite characters after this episode 🔥🔥
Mob has never looked this badass before, the new mob pfps AWAKEN
Mob is doing his best to be a good person and he is not abusing his insane talents/skills. But then reality kicks in and shows Mob that life itself is indifferent. A car hit him after saving a cat and a child. He does not deserve this.. at all! But it still happened. Growing up also means you will have to accept with the randomness of life. Bad stuff will happen no matter how good/strong/talented you are. And life does not give a damn: simply because nature itself is indifferent.
It can be extreme frustrating, heck: it even pushes people into commiting suicide. It is the ultimate struggle for all of us. Young and old.
It’s sad he doesn’t know that Mob is like this because he saved a child. He just thinks he’s having a really bad episode.
Yeah it's honestly so sad that this is the reason he ended up like this
Teru my beloved really had more development in 3 seasons than any character from the big 3 in 30 years.
Bro this was one of the second best fight so far
When are we getting the season 3 soundtrack? I'm in love with the instrumental!
Threw teru so hard it replayed 3 different times
Shoutout to Teru's VA, he's amazing
De los mejores capítulos del año en lo que respecta a animé, y eso que se han sacado temporadas épicas en varios.
Love Teru's character progression.
Man the first fight was hilarious but this one hits different.
Not gonna lie this episode had me emotional. Got a feeling this roller coaster ride is just getting started as well 😢
This episode gave me chills. Especially the ending 🥶
I feel this is really exploring the affirmation posed by Genos in OPM: "if one day something that's capable of beating Sensei appears we wouldn't be able to deal with it."
How do you stop someone so powerful as Mob if he loses control? That's a hell of a challenge i don't think you can easily answer with the "power of numbers," i feel ONE would not repeat that route, he would try to explore "when numbers are not enough".
My man mob used him as a baseball got that home run 😂😂
Oh man, I was letting the episodes stack for season 3, but now I think I gotta get back into mob phsycho immediately
This episode was 💥💥💥 I don't know how to describe. We are geting into the finale...
Teruki went from being irrational and controlling people through fear in season 1 with Mob being the voice of reason to having their roles reversed this season.
Truck Kun hit the wrong average Japanese kid this time around! Mob's way too powerful to ever get Isekaied!
