I feel like some of that is natural (Not completely, but you'll get my point) I've heard ppl say that women tend to go after men who have similarities with their fathers. Same deal with men and their mothers. I don't know how true that is but it would make sense to me.

I've not seen this because I don't have Prime, but how could she not have known what her own father looked like in high school? Has she not seen pictures of her parents from when they were that age? That makes even less sense than the concept of time travel.
