- Under new Scottish abortion laws, praying at home could be considered a criminal offense.
The legislation, which took effect last month, establishes 200-metre “safe access zones” around abortion clinics.
Residents within these zones could breach the law if their actions, including prayer, cause "harassment, alarm, or distress" to staff or patients, even if done privately.
The Scottish Government's guidance lists religious activities like "silent vigils" as potentially prohibited if conducted with "intent or recklessness."
Pro-life campaigners worry these laws could lead to arrests for prayer.

Muslims seem to have mass prayer vigils in UK streets on a regular basis. Yet Christian Street preachers are regularly arrested and harassed by Police. A Christian was stabbed a few years back at Speakers corner. Why the difference in treatment? Could it be that Christians don't carry the threat of Jihad?
So what happens with Christians who regularly meet in home groups?

If someone is very ill and a priest is called to administer last rites, he could be arrested if the house he is attending is within these boundaries.

I wish they did pray only at home. I see them daily only the streets or in corners in shopping malls.
