Congrats on the sale. Lots of folk work in the week maybe Saturday and Sunday is their only time to go car hunting…🤔
This was the case for me.
Sister in Law has a Honda like that, done nearly 200,000 miles and runs sweet as a nut. The mechanic who services it says it's good for another 5 years, as its that good a car engine wise and mechanically.
Lee your a good lad...but so many people dont understand just how much VAT we pay...they do nothing for it,we sell,we work the vat out and they just collect it from us criminal really.My last quarter was horrendous 11.5k just to them!!!
You certainly have good business model in repairing your own and that makes a very affordable car for people with not a lot of csh.

The Civic looked futuristic when it first came out, but now it looks well dated. Funny how that works out. Being silver adds to the datedness.

I am sorry but how did they turn down that Civic? Ibizas are decent but come on, you can’t say no to a Honda. It will outlast the Seat and damn more interesting too.

Hondas of that day were engineered so well! My dad bought a Jazz brand new in 2002, kept it for 10 years and put 145k miles on it. All he ever did was routine maintenance, and one coil pack that went on it. Original exhaust, clutch, battery etc. when he traded it in!
Think at what you have sold it for is very good, that sort of price if owner looks after it with the prices now they will get £500 for it in 2 or 3 years time. May well be a repeat business for you Lee.

I was in your neck of the woods last few days in my motorhome camping at Willows campsite at Nantwich. Also passed Aston Barclay on my way south. I can see why you go there a lot. Not to far to travel for you.

The Honda Civic is one of those cars that you either love or hate. For me, the only place for them is either the scrap yard or banger racing. The problem with them, as far as I’m concerned, there’s NO ELECTRIC VERSION.

Again, I will congratulate you on the sale of the not unattractive red Seat. I would add that a car dealer has to open EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK so as not to miss a sale.
Lee what % would you reduce a Cat S car by?Ive a 2010 1.6 petrol Qashqai Visia with 103K miles and full service history that im gonna put up for sale.
I find basically cat s is half price, very, very hard sell, got a 13 plate dacia step way up at 1200,only one call, sorry.
