If you track drums or anything multi-mic Coaxial monitors are the absolute best for mic placement to get the mics placed. Its easier to hear when things are just slightly out of phase compared to two-way monitors where those issues might not be heard.

Nice:) For the record - the Sceptre S8's are absolutely superb. I shot them out against $10K Genelecs and they completely held their own.
(Although the newer Kali IN-8 is slightly more transparent in the midrange)
Pretty amazing bang for the buck these days... Really looking forward to trying these new 6's, even though they'll only be Atmos height channels...

Nice video. Exactly the information I was looking for. I'd recommend putting hashtags in the description though as I didn't find this video searching UA-cam for the Presonuse Eris Pro. Your video came up as a recommended video at the end of another one I watched so I clicked on it from there.
Side note, I used to read recording magazine all the time back in the 90's. Cool to see its still around.

why nobody compares the eris pro with the sceptre? why are sceptre discontinued since everybody likes them?

Exactly what I'm looking for is 7.1.4 Atmos setup ... are these as neutral as Genelec 8040?

They look like a modern take on the infamous Altec Lansing "Milestone" studio monitors.

Hello, I've been following your channel for long time. for a home studio where hip hop, rap music, which monitors between 300 and 700 $ recommend me for a while? Let them not be big. Thank you.

using the sceptre s6 and wanna know the comparsion between both. special at the low end''s. sceptre get down to 52khz and the pro to 35khz. both are 6 inch's !!! 😕 make it sense to swap to the pro series?

I was also curious about this, so I asked "presonus" directly.
And I got the answer that "sceptre" is better performance..
If you're worried about the low notes, I recommend adding only the "Presonus subwoofer."
You will know a new world

Subwoofer is a very sad friend.
Because this is what people think..
      However, it's a misunderstanding..
After setting the correct settings, train your ears until the sound is familiar.
And then, when you're working on it, you'll see how important "subwoofer" is..
The unnecessary energy of the bass makes it possible to monitor how murky the sounds of "mid, high" become, so the unnecessary parts will be easily removed...
Also, you will know that the part that booms in the server woofer also booms in music.
So you can set the exact amount of bass more easily

I have heard all 3 speakers that you ask about . I replaced a set of evo 50 because the Presonus Eris Pro 6 is so much better. It has much better sound stage and goes much deeper down to 35 hz ...be sure to buy the 6 version - not the 4.5 .... I tried both ,
