You are becoming an Alima for getting deeper knowledge of Islam not for the sake of money. The knowledge will help you in dunya as well as akhira. Try different path for earning money and Allah will help you for sure. You can do both these things side by side with Allah's help. InshaAllah

So it's not about learning islamic teaching all the day and not following at all. But learning even a small thing and following it for whole life. May Allah guide us to the right path.
You can do both the things at the same time dear am going through the same situation in my life as well am hustling for getting a job which should be halal and at the same point am learning Islam but getting involved in several different courses you can also share and teach your islamic knowledge by volunteering is not that hard you'll feel exhausted in the start but yeah Allah will surely make a way for you in sha Allah.

I can not explain how good i m feeling after listening a talk about this topic, it hasbeen a year since i have done my mbbs and i m stuck why why should i strike hard for a job or specialization, they all are duniya things they ll not benefit me , why i waste my time on this, it was making me exhaust mentally, even when i used to study for job this thing hit my brain so badly, i was so sad wd the feeling why should i try to move forward and waste my time.i was so worried, n disturbed.thanks to Allah n then ustad

Great, sir
You will be judged based on your intention. If you make an intention to go and learn and gain knowledge in order to please Allah because Allah said in the Qur'an that we must obey and follow the Prophet Muhammad Sollallahu Alayhi Wasallam. And the Prophet Muhammad Sollallahu Alayhi Wasallam said that the acquisition of knowledge is an obligation upon every believer. Hence, it is a Fard upon every Muslim to aquire and gain knowledge.
So if you have the intention to learn and gain knowledge for Allah's sake because of the previous paragraph I wrote. Then, Insha'Allah, Allah will reward you accordingly for doing it for Allah's sake.
If you are going to work, make the intention that you are going to work to earn a Halaal Risq. Halal income in order to provide for yourself and your family to please Allah. You could've been earning a Haraam income, but instead you are choosing to earn a halaal income to please Allah. Hence, Allah will reward you accordingly, Insha'Allah. Also, it is a mans duty to provide for his family so that could also be part of your intention to going to work for Allah's sake.
You intention is what matters. Try to always have a good intention and an intention which is pleasing to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. Imagine all the rewards you can earn by just taking a few seconds to make an intention to do whatever good you are doing for Allah's sake. That is loads of rewards. Even if you are doing a small deed, such as greeting a fellow Muslim. Greet them for Allah's sake, because Allah said we must obey and follow the messenger Muhammad Peace be upon him and he Sollallahu Alayhi Wasallam said that the best Muslim is the one who feeds people and greets people. So that could be your intention for greeting people. Let us all try to purify our intentions.
May Allah accept our good deeds from us and grant us understanding, Ameen 🤲

very well explained sir i had the same question but..the reference you gave ,"No writer should refuse writing things down........" is in surah Al baqarah about evidence of debt that nobody should refuse to write the matter of debt .....they should write ..so can we take the concept of this part of verse separately ? as you said....
Do Anything in this world anything thing your job your studies whatever, just remember Allah always no matter what king is infront of you, no matter what ruler is in front of you, Allah law will always be your Priority. Thats it. You're breathing bc Allah is allowing it, then how come you do everything anf forget him? Huh? So please even if you're in college or school or wherever, do not harm anyone, don't go beyond the line of Islam. Live your life like Sahaba used too!! I wanted to ask what should I do my daughter is in senior class now alhamdulillah she is a good student and loves to study but recently during her exams I don’t know what happened to her she was fine all throughout the year but during her exams she was crying a lot and I asked her why she said she doesn’t know and she said she didn’t want to study anymore . I told her this week is your exams week she told me she knows but doesn’t why she is not feeling to study anymore she said she didn’t even want to look at her books and she would always call me to sit beside her she said she felt alone . I was shocked that She always studied alone and this never happened to her . Alhamdulillah somehow exams went but she cried all the time I tried to calm her and scold her also that why are you crying? but she said she doesn’t know why she didn’t want to study. During this time she didn’t even eat anything and said she felt like vomiting . I told her not to stress but she couldn’t understand. Now in holidays also she sometimes cries and says that I am scared that this won’t happen to me again and she says she is scared of studies and doesn’t want to study . She was not like that and never happened to her . I tried to tell her relax in holidays do some fun activities but she says she doesn’t feel interested in doing anything. She feels sad all the time and says why I am feeling like this I don’t want to be sad or emotional but I don’t know why it is happening to me. I told her to read Quran , ask allah . She says I don’t know I tried to read Quran but I don’t have the feeling now which I used to have when reading Quran or praying . Can you tell me what should I do .
I would say to suggest her to get a professional therapy or counselor (better to have a muslim professionalist) who would be able to help her to understand the main point of issue and to help her develop healthy coping skills to get through this situation. May Allah make it easy for you and your daughter to get through this hardship, ameen.

@MominahRizwan Yes, it could also be because Shaitan distracted us. Try to find stories from the time of prophets related to that similar situation and to see which dua they use to get out of this issue. This situation sounds almost similar to the story of prophet Yaqub. Hopefully, this can help to relieve the situation insha'Allah

The thing is that today when we study we are surrounded by haram things. We say study etc etc but are we allowed to study if this means not being able to pray at time and study in the same classrooms with girls etc? Moreover if u want to get a good degree and income u have to study minimum 5 years after highschool which means that u probably wont marry till ur twenties and it can be dangerous for some people. If someone can give an answer im ready to read.
but now if we take so, working with interest induced job for good means would be halal?
and if so can we take control and hold onto our amount of sustenance then but ALLAH mentions and holds control onto our amount of sustenance which lies inline with our career

The problem of jobs is mostly facing by women in some societies, so plzz anyone guide me because i myself is facing this problem and i want to get a job and earn money and to help the vulnerable community for the sake of Allah, but few members of my society don't let me...
In which country you are having a job.
Or searching a job.
The solutions are going to be different for different societies.If you want to work in a typical western country then it is extremely unlikely that you won't face women.So I would suggest you to try to find a job in a field where there are not that much of women.You can also look out for jobs in gulf countries or in Malaysia or in Turkey where the environment is islamic and you won't face that much of a problem
And if you can't get a job in such a place then you would have to work in a western country.Just keep control on yourself and inshallah everything will be fine.Allah knows your condition.and always seek for forgiveness from Allah.
If you can't keep control of yourself then quit the job and try to find other ways of earningfor eg Business,Sales,Teaching On UA-cam etc
