This is the best explanation of Abg thank u doctor
Superlike😃. Sir, a very essential concept addressed here in this video. Very relevant also to all doctors working in ICU. Really love your work sir.
Thanks aishwary , glad to know it was helpful 😇
@@TheICUChannel sir🙏
Sir we are also waiting for a Mechanical Ventillation lecture IN ENGLISH, just a polite reminder.
thank you Sir.
I know , hope it will be uploaded soon
Sir, i remember in your master abg video you said acute respiratory alkalosis compensation, HCO3 decreases by 3 for every 10 pCo2 decrease? kindly clarify
thank you sir
for R acidosis : acute 1 , chronic 3.5
for R alkalosis : acute 2, chronic 5
these are for every 10 change in pco2
Had the same Q. Thanks for clarification.
And Sincere Thanks for educating & sharing your knowledge so passionately. 🙏💐@@TheICUChannel
Sir its a request to you...ABG ke upar ek hindi me lecture bna dijiye plz.
Absolutely loved it... ❤️
Thank you 😊
Welcome!
*Agree with ur interpretation but CHLORIDE in ABG is never correct, it's adjusted..So worthwhile having simultaneously taken venous Electrolytes...May miss Elevated Gap Met Acidosis..Chronic respiratory Alkalosis is the only single acid base disorder where one may find pH in normal range.Compensation for Chronic Resp Alkalosis is 4*
Sir, why you didnt calculate expected Anion Gap in this case
calculated, see in the end, that's why its Nagma. and the purpose of this video to explain compensation not acid base balance . see full video.
@@TheICUChannel Sir, from what i understood you just calculated the actual AG and not the Expected AG in this case coz expected AG= Normal AG -PH correction - albumin correction. i stand corrected Sir, i really watch all your videos and when questions arise it shows you are doing a great job. kindly clarify.
kindly correct me Sir, dont want to be left out.thank you
How can we say oxygenation is fine unless we know FiO2.
*Ur right..but he is trying to analyse ABG with normal pH with abnormal PaCO2 & HCO3 (Acid-Base balance) He is considering ABG at room air with Normal Albumin* 10:37
Whenever PCO2 and HCO3 are abnormal, then normal looking pH is always abnormal, pH is just numerically looking normal
@@vbuche*No..If they moves in same direction primarily in that case..if they moves primarily in opposite direction then it's will extremly abnotmal high or low.*
