Honestly this is really wholesome. Eight/Milo being so upbeat despite having such a hard life. 3/Landon being such a disgruntled squid but having a real soft spot for Milo that he lets his guard down and genuinely wants to help him have fun. Even recognizing that a number isn't a real name. I'm not super into yaoi but when it's this wholesome I do not care who is involved in the relationship! The voice work really sells it to!
