I’d like to think that the real reason Agent 3 doesn’t talk is because the only way they can communicate is through ineffective d-pad voice commands

I like how Agent 3 can naturally Super Jump without relying on another teammate, a Launch Pad, or a Beakon.
In splatoon 1 and 2, your main player character does that too after the tutorial, now they just take the subway
Yeah pretty sure all inklings can super jump it’s just probably against the rules in sports to do so freely
Or maybe they need those beacons because if they didn’t have an anchor they might miscalculate their landings and get injured or crash

Dude, so were the shoes. So they're basically sandal versions of the Hero Shoes.
Honestly, I'm still surprised they went this direction with them. Our playable character from Splat 1 becoming their own independent character, it feels as surreal as Red from Pokemon becoming his own character.

Love the little booyah signal Agent 3 does at the end. Since only players do it, it makes sense. Nice detail, though I kinda wish it was one of the original lines from splatoon 1.

I have an attachment to my Splatoon 1 character and the fact that the canon previous Agent 3 looks identical to my old character in skin color and eye color made me a bit emotional. It’s ridiculous but I’m so happy to see her again in this game.

I honestly grew to love agent three, i didn't play Splatoon1 but after getting introduced to her on the expansion, and now storymode? I lover her so much!
Its epic if you play all the splatoons as well, in the original splatoons the super weapons were op compared to splatoon 2 , also the final battle in splatoon 1 when you compleate it as agent 3 you feel all powerfull because its an endurace battle .
The callback to the roots are always welcome.

@@dientedeleon2245 it’s so fun to see the amount of love put into those tiny details! Didn’t have a wii so never was able to play the first game but I started playing the second one a little after the final fest (sad). I just love it when they add that much love to the game :3

That booyah was a fresh reminder about how much I love this game. The series got intense with it's extensive lore but at the end of the day it's still an innocent game of cute lil inklings trying to be cool and unique

I’m slightly sad that when the captain destroyed all the fuzzy ooze the music wasn’t some sort of splattack track like when she saved agent 8 and cuttlefish in octo expansion. But that “booyah!” at the end still gets me
The fuzzy ball were cool, but those are dangerous, and Captain had to destroy them an order to reach Cuttlefish
And they say you can’t have character progression with a mute protagonist
People were comparing that Captain 3 is like Red from Pokémon, and I'd say it's accurate.
Honestly as someone who's mute IRL it always bothers me how so many people seem to assume "character doesn't speak = the character has no personality or anything"

It's just the default option. And in 3 they use they/them pronouns. And before you say it, the art also shows MALE inklings and octolings.

I like the idea that the original Agent 3 is cracked solely because they fought the Great Octo Weapons and the hardest boss fight version of DJ Octavio. I know I'm probably the only one who thinks this.

Agent 3 is my favorite character. I adored seeing her again in Octo Expansion. (That kick made me so hype lol.) In Splatoon 3 she was such a joy, and the booyah made me laugh and be so happy. My little squid grew so much and has a special place in my heart even though I play as an octoling now ❤️

Kay if anyone has time, watch the final cutscene in s3 SPECIFICALLY when deep cut shows up. They straight up forgot to put captain 3 in there. I kid you not. You can see master mega clip through their hat and presumably their clothes. Then when Frye’s Eel’s show up you can see their hate, but nothing else. Not even Callie or Marie.
THE WORST INSTANCE is when Callie is jumping up and down after the Eels. You see captain’s gear but… if you zoom in, there’s… there’s literally no model.

It's a bit disappointing that agent 3 as the new captain doesn't wear his suit
They were promoted to Captain, so Agent 3 takes Craig's hat and customized it to their Hero Headset and Craig's tattered cloth.
Though I do hope in future updates we can wear Captain 3's new clothes, and their previous outfit from Octo Expansion that has the cape.
Also if you go to agent 3 wiki if you see the age she is 21 in Splatoon 3
Yeah I wasn't a major fan of her captian look (though I get it's based off cuttlefish's) maybe for the new DLC she can appear with her old suit and cape

We super jumped to where the captain landed since you tend to super jump to teammates. Cuttlefish must not be an applicable team member, either because he's squidnapped or retired.

iirc Agent 3 is referred to as "they" in both Octo Expansion and Splatoon 3.
It's because player choice, my Agent 3 is a male with semi dark skin and yellow eyes.
There are only 2 genders and they are “Squid” or “Kid”
Well you can customize them to whatever you’d like but canonly they’re non binary, they’ve always been referred with they/them pronouns :)
