  • Here is a video of me riding the Montreal Metro on three out of the four lines: The Blue Line 🔵, the Orange Line 🟠 and then the Green Line 🟢.
My intention was to do it all in one video, which I technically did. However, because I got stop instead of pause at one point, the video became two videos. When I tried to merge them together, I was told there was not enough space or something.
So I decided to just make the video into two parts.
Here is video 1 where I start filming at Fabre Metro on the Blue Line 🔵 and then switch at Jean-Talon Metro Station to the Orange Line 🟠.
The video then concludes on the Angrignon platform of the Green Line 🟢 at Berri-UQAM Metro Station while I wait for my train that will take me to Lionel-Groulx Metro Station.
Video 2, where I conclude my ride to Lionel-Groulx Metro Station on the Green Line is right here: • Metro ride on the Blue...
This was filmed on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at approximately 11:30 pm Eastern.

I think it's the angle or the track switch device, bit I am not sure.

Because Saint Michel metro station can only fit 6 wagons. Eventually the metro station platform will be lengthened to be able to fit 9.

4:56 Why did they build the platform longer than the train? At De Castelnau for example, there is a lot of unused space on the platform.

So the answer I got from when I asked around is that apparently Saint-Michel Station has a platform of 100 meters but the other platforms on the Blue Line are 150 meters, so they had no choice but to not use the rest of the room in all the other stations on the Blue Line. They didn't build Saint-Michel 150 meters because of lack of funding apparently.
There was eventually plans to extend the metro to 9 cars on the Blue Line, and there still is talk about it! In fact, they might even start using AZUR trains on the Blue Line soon!

@@SkyOfTheUniverse Well they could have built all the other stations shorter as well.

@@SkyOfTheUniverse maybe they’ll do like the commuter train the disembarking will only be done from the six first cars.

@@SkyOfTheUniverse Will the Azur trains be used on the blue line? It was said that they can’t be used on the blue line because they are too wide for the blue line tunnel. What will they do for the Azur trains on the blue line for the future?
