also , thing with the yorker is that it is the hardest ball to bowl , if you get it slightly wrong , ie , not close to the batsman toes , it becomes the easiest ball to hit(slot).
India vs Pakistan in newyork this year. You should go and watch that to understand the passion of cricket. That will be your lifetime memory. I bet you for that.
That would be cool. I don’t think we would be able to make it all the way to New York though. That’s extremely far from us. And very expensive place to travel

Malinga is Sri Lankan. He is named as the GOAT of T20 bawling. The only bawler to take 5 hattricks and 2 of them were double hattricks. (4wickets in 4 concecative balls). And a master of dept bawling.
If you were wondering about Malinga sidearming the ball, he has a very unique action that still abides by the rules of your arm being straight while delivering not many players use this style as opposed to a more conventional one you see. And in the case of how to play a Yorker it’s very hard to play Dhoni played his helicopter shot to respond to it but mostly you just have to dig it out by getting your bat there in time, however Yorkers are hard to get right, the line is fine between a Yorker and a full toss ball which can be easily dispatched which just shows the skill of bowlers like Malinga and Bumrah who can throw it in as a surprise to get batsman out. You should also check out Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli know as the god and the king respectively. Hope this was helpful
Malinga is one of the best bowlers that whole team is afraid of him sometimes because he is not just delivering Yorkers, correct spot and acurecy is more important.
Malinga had probably the lowest arm action you can get away with (since underarm was banned), and nobody else really got close. It's difficult to get that sidearm action without bending the elbow, which would have been illegal. The sidearm let him get the ball started a bit more in line with the wickets than anybody else, so the ball was coming at an unusual angle compared to just about any other fast bowler. Combining the slingy action with the side spin, he could get a lot of curve on the ball before it bounced, which you can see in some of those clips where the ball goes round the bat. Combine that with changing the pace of the delivery and it gets really hard to get the bat down in the right place.
Every cricket lover is biased towards their fellow countrymen as being the best. Just enjoy the wonderful skills on show and revel in the fast bowling skills of Curtley Ambrose from the West Indies. Legendary
You gotta "dig out" the Yorker in order to hit it. Meaning you gotta hit the ground with your Bat at the same time that the Ball arrives. Which pretty much means you have to identify the Ball as a Yorker well before it gets there. If the Batter can identify the Yorker early enough he can come down the Pitch to hit it before it touches the ground, giving the Batsman the advantage.
Malinga a genuine 100 mph bowler , no the batsman don't have a technique to think their through these challenges, some are , and are hard to get out , he's a so-so fast bowler , but he's had bad days v AUSTRALIA, #1 team really , always play above their weight , quite amazing really
Yorker is probably most secure and destructive delivery for a bowler and very few can master its accuracy. But MS Dhoni completely plays these bowlers exceptionally. The common defencive strategy against MSD is not to deliver in his toes! Bcs it's very likely that he'd send the ball in the sky
Malinga had the most unorthodox bowling style.. the sidearm bowling thing was introduced first time by him which especially made yorkers easy for him. Also as a Batsman you are not sure whig bowl is goinh to be a yorker which makes a yorker especially difficult to play. MSDs Helicopter shot is one of the best shots against Yorker
Hey fellas, you're learning. Good job! FYI, the cricket T20 World cup is being played later this year in the Caribbean and also the good old USA! Get your tickets early and go watch a game live, you'll love it
Thanks for the video, really enjoyed it. If you want to see a strange bowling action, check out Paul Adams who played for South Africa in the 1990's. There are quite a few You tube videos of him. His bowling action has been described as looking like ab"frog in a blender"😂 Best wishes from Lola in Queenstown, South Africa.
A perfectly executed yorker is near impossible to handle. You just put your bat down and try to stop the ball and hope that it does not hit the stumps. But what you dont see in this video is missed yorker, very few players can deliver perfect yorker length deliveries consistently, Malinga was the best in this regard. Missing yorker length means the ball is either a full toss or half volley, two easiest ball to hit boundaries for four or sixes. Its like a double edged sword, yorkers can stop the batter from taking runs but you miss and easily get hit for six
Malinga's action was controversial for ages until it was deemed to be legal. for some odd reason Malinga can't bowl overarm like the other fast bowlers however he always bowls with a straight arm which makes it legal.
Guys just want to let you know one thing is Yorker is very good weapon have in any bowler arsenal but margin for error is very low that if you pitch one inch before or further the pitch can become over pitch (can be called as "the slot") or full toss (kind of baseball pitch without bounce) then these two are easiest deliveries for any batsman to hit the ball for six.. So that's the reason Malinga is best bowler as he is closest to perfect the art of Yorker bowling.. Even he had very bad days with that kind of bowling.. The top 2 in this video the batsman was MS Dhoni..see how he fooled by Malinga even thought Dhoni was best batsmen at that time but in another match Dhoni made same bowler as street bowler by blasting him evry corner in the ground...
Once when New Zealand were playing Sri Lanka in a test, The batsman had to ask Steve Bucknor the umpire to remove his red tie. The line of sight was straight down the umpires tie which being red blended to much with the ball. It sure takes the sight screen out of play for the poor batsman. You just can't coach a delivery action like that, simply individual brilliance.
Ahoy mates, enjoying all your reactions, you missed some one out. The Legend that was 'Shane Warne', please react to 'Shane Warne's 50 best wickets on home soil', its an excellent display of 'Spin Bowling', a real master class of talent right there on screen, three cheers to you two ooo. RIP Shane, greatly missed by all, thanks
Malinga was a controversial bowler, at times he was removed because of his illegal bowling and later he proved it to be perfectly legal, there is a Indian movie on him, please watch it, it's motivating
He is (if I remember correctly !) one of several bowlers tn have had issues with throwing the ball or being accused of it (murali was another), the bowlers arm has to remain either straight or at the same bend thru the delivery
The batsman wasn't foward enough , he , the batsman has to force a change in that length , so , I'd bat another 6 to 8 inches closer to him play normal back and across and turn it into a full toss , there is Ballshyness , no one ever mentions it , to hit a moving ball that bounces and you protect your stumps , you must get body in line , Ball shyness , causes more damage , coz thick inside edge hit you in mouth , best flick of ur body line , but a hard ball
Now that you guys no who Malinga the legend is, you should now watch young Virat Kohli’s innings in Hobart where he dominated malinga at his prime and shook the world. Link: ua-cam.com/video/ZRe4j-UUifM/v-deo.htmlsi=qA5jBlNaruNQ77GO
