For me, the cutting nails at night had some good logic. Back in the days when electricity didn't exist or was very rare in villages, it was advised not to cut at night because you may hurt yourself.

That "cutting your nails" one is kinda different in here. where I live people tell me that you must not cut your nails on Saturday. i asked my mom the logic behind this for like infinite times she just scolded me...i think even our parents don't know the reason behind this they are just following what their forefathers told them to follow plus there's another one black cat crossing your path can bring you bad luck. The list of superstitions is never-ending. Btw loved your video!!!!!

The Chinese love dying ig- My grandmother is so superstitious and when she came to my house, she covered the mirror with a towel. She also told my mother not to celebrate her birthday before the actual day. Also, 4 is one of my favourite numbers despite it meaning death-
According to the European believes, especially Slavic origins, when person dies, cover the mirror with the black material. Mirror has some sort of energy that shows this world, and other dimensions, which are unseen by us . The believe is that ghost/spirit stays in the familiar places for 4 days before it goes to a great beyond. Hence, mirror is the passage from here and thereafter. If u do not cover mirror, the ghost will show up through it.
The fact that I have a mirror on the opposite side to my bed, sleep with shoes under my bed, and cut my nails at night 😅
Mirror has some energy that leads to the great beyond. According to Eastern European believes, when someone dies, in the house one should cover up mirror for four days . Ghost/ spirit of the departed person can appear in the mirror from the other side .
