As someone who sucks at tekken 7 and likes the walking dead, negan was the perfect character for me. Simple combos, great pressure, pokes, launchers and armour for days. I even got tekken god omega…in offline treasure battles

He was legit T8 character before T8. No magic 4, pokes you to death, crazy power crush, heavily relies on SSs. The most unrealistic part is his same uf2 animation being used for 3 different "new" move each season
WS12 was needed. Uf2 is not bad but not great either I did find it a bit moot initially yet it tracks to SSL and is bat-clench punch for INT2 Combo ender,Setups
Even though df31 Maiden & 21 Shiner strings could get practical versatility.
Like df311+2 attaching db1+2's animation attached for combo/diversity and 211+2/2+3 having +13 Shove (no INT12 guaranteed only on CH to have correlated balance with 214)
@@tonisnooker I never said they are bad/good. But yeah, 2,1,4 is completely useless against good/cautious player. Having slower mid would've make it more useful. Imo, for df3,1,1+2 to have ff2 animations with screw property instead of db1+2(due to how inconsistent this piece of shit is) would've fit better. Also he needed anti Akuma demon flip(you have to guess with db1+2, df2 guarantees nothing and u2 is useless) tool like df2 launching airborne opponents higher.

My family and I are huge Walking Dead fans and I’m a huge Tekken fan. This crossover felt like a fever dream, like I couldn’t believe it was happening. It felt like Harada made it just for me, and I’m sure a handful of others feel the same way. His play style was super fun, too. I’ll miss you Negan, holy smokes 🫡

I wonder if they will make a "new" Negan style character similar to how Victor was made to be a similar function to Noctis but with his unique storyline/aesthetic/minor kit tweaks. Maybe even have JDM come back to voice the "new" character with similar sarcastic lines.

My friend picked up negan when he saw me play tekken. After watching him play and never seeing another negan online in the first half year first starting tekken, he looked fun, played fun, and was an abomination to play against. I quickly found out how efficient 3 d2's can kill. A month ago found out about the whistle he can do as well, and it still makes me laugh to see the other guy look like wtf. INT stance crazy fun too. Best guest character I personally have ever played. Bully.

I'm hoping Bandai Namco does the impossible and actually brings Negan back into Tekken 8's future DLC. They did express how easy and Cooperative AMC is when lending in The Walking Dead IP's into Tekken, and they're well aware that Negan is one of the most popular characters in 7. He oozes personality with his animations, down to earth yet funny think about as a Tekken Character, and his combos are so cool to look at. Even if he's so annoying to fight and very cheesy, he's such a cool character and I'm gonna miss watching him.

How can anyone hate on Negan ffs? He's is the most unique, well balanced and charismatic guest character in Tekken. And he actually plays like a real Tekken character. They just made the mistake to give him hour long video sequences.

The reason I’m not gonna miss Negan is because he’s designed for the kinds of players who want to win but don’t want to actually learn the game. The character basically does everything for you. Built in 50/50’s out the ass you can’t avoid.

Season one was pretty good but season 2 is one of the hardest fall offs I have ever seen.
They absolutely butchered Homelander and that totally killed my interest in the show.
So glad hes not in tekken 8,next step is to remove all feamale cr then the game will be perfect
