The issue is that it's a finale - you don't have to have a big Marvel action fight was her point - it's a legal comedy. That's true. Unfortunately, that's not what happened. They jumped straight to him being arrested and we skipped the courtroom entirely except in the post-credit art. The finale not being an action-packed thing is a good idea. It being a legal comedy where the courtroom doesn't feature in the finale - that's more of a problem.
@@MrBrock314 definitely that's the problem with the episode length. Though to be fair with that many witnesses the court case would be open and shut. He'd probably plead down and because he's rich get off :-/
It’s more then just breaking the 4th wall. It’s also about breaking peoples expectations about everything in the MCU having critical meaning. We get so wrapped up in analyzing everything that comes out we forget to just have fun with it.
I absolutely loved how Jen called out how almost every hero has daddy issues. I was with her on that adding on Shang-Chi & the two that has the worst with this issue: Gamora & Nebula.
That classic Hulk intro was epic! Many try to imitate the look of 70s and 80s shows but here they nailed it a 100%! And I think it's safe to say that they didn't just break the 4th wall with this episode ... they smashed it!
My favorite part was when she asked when the X-Men would show up then have the camera a thumbs up. That just shows that Marvel KNOWS what we want. Can’t say it was a solid finale but that extreme 4th wall break was pretty great. Also, I figured Todd was gonna be the main villain. In my mind that was the only reason that he kept popping up.
OMG the fourth wall break, the trolling of the trollers, the whole season 2, will she appear on the film and then introduction of Skaar with Daredevil seeing the Hulk and his son it's just awesome. Also the actor who plays Skaar is Will Duesner who appeared in Stargirl seasons 1 and 2 where he played the son of The Wizard who is a former member of the Injustice Society of America.
13:13 Remember when she was talking to K.E.V.I.N. she said "At this point, all I really want is Emil to take accountability his actions" or something like that. She quite literally re-wrote her own reality.
Remember that in the first episode Bruce says that the "Hulk-blood" gives the person affected "a lethal dose of Gamma radiation" that Bruce and Jennifer are able to process because of their DNA.
Yeah…like I was waiting for Todd to die from the injection but instead he turned into a Hulk and I was like “This isn’t right…” I’m kind of glad they changed that tbh because it didn’t make sense to me that it would work on him!
Skaar is Hulk son from comics and his birth hapend after some sort of time after Avengers Age of ultron when he with queenjet fall on Sakar and become gradiator. ;)
Thank you! Robert is the only reactor that mentioned how I felt about the finale. I seriously loved 8.5 of the episodes of She-Hulk, but I had an issue with the "retcon" on the topic of Jen's blood. They made "it" the entire topic of the series--Bruce literally disintegrated vials of Jen's blood in episode 1, they made it a point "someone" was trying to get Jen's blood when she was attacked, then they teased the "bigger" needle, then they showed Josh texting that he got the blood... I also had a similar issue with how they handled Titania. I loved Jameela Jamil's performance, but in the end, it wasn't clear what was the purpose of her character in the show for the time they gave her throughout the series. Was she "in" with Intelligencia? It wasn't clear. Other than that, I liked She-Hulk a lot for being very self aware of the current "climate", because it felt like they were filming day-to-day with how they were dunking of trolls, etc. I also felt it very anti-climactic (if you run with the idea of the retcon making everything up to Todd injecting himself as NOT happening) that the show ended with "I'm taking Todd to court"...was the blood really taken, synthesized?
The QR code on the She-Hulk Production poster on the door into the writers room, takes you to the comic where She-Hulk goes to the Marvel studios and tries to find someone who will write her show the way she wants it written! 😎👍🏻
I loved the episode, and the show, but most of all, I love how many people got legit angry about this show and this episode. She-Hulk breaking the 4th wall by turning twitter trolls into rage hulks, lmao.
I really liked the finale, and yeah i was expecting something like that, because when the show was announce all i heard was "She hulk came out of her own comic once" so yeah. I believe the blood will make a come back, what Jen was saying i took it as its not that simple to just make a dose and be a Hulk, Bruce said it himself it was kind of 1 in a million chance (Emil was different because he first had the Super soldier serum). This series was fun for me, completely out of balance with the other movies/series, now i wonder if people are gonna like MCU Deadpool.
Did you see that? Agent Carter is canon now, by association I say also Agents of Shield👍🏻. Hello guys. She broke the 5TH wall😆. No Kevin. Does that mean She Hulk won’t be in a movie?
As someone who wasn't the biggest fan of where the series was going (e.g. Todd Hulk), I was pleasantly surprised with how they chose to pivot near the ending. It was very fun and I appreciate it addressed some of the concerns people have been having. It was not PERFECTLY handled or anything, but I really love they tried something new. Or maybe I bias cause Daredevil showed up 🤣
The writers didn't wipe the ending. The theme of the show was always about the issues of the MCU fans complaints and the Internet criticisms. The series stuck with said themes while still keeping with the plot of what Todd was doing before Jennifer/She Hulk stopped it in an unconventional way aka fourth wall breaking to talk to K.E.V.I.N. who was the MCU's representation of the comics character Modok, announced to be in the series before the first episode aired. The writers of the series used She Hulk's ability of breaking the fourth wall as part of her powers to allow her to control the narrative rather than just tell jokes. It was perfect.
Just finished watching it. I LOVED the whole Lou Ferrigno era intro! This episode was not what I expected... in a good way. "When are we getting the X-Men?"
I get the feeling I'm in the minority but I thought this finale was excellent. If you went into this finale expecting an action packed "classic" MCU finale then you haven't been paying attention to the show. We also got confirmation of World War Hulk movie which is huge.
I mean, the Hulk blood stuff is like Super Soldier serum because Hulk was created in an attempt to replicate the Super Soldier serum, that is canon in the MCU too
Yes, the blood plot was pointless. The reason it seemed so shoehorned into a "legal comedy" is because K.E.V.I.N. was shoehorning it into a legal comedy. The AI was the villain of the season. It was writing in these pointless MCU tropes into a SitCom to satisfy the algorithm. Why did Titania bust through the wall in Ep 1? Because there needed to be a fight scene after the training sequence. It was K.E.V.I.N. all along.
Not what I expected, but I loved this finale… it was SO wacky but SO she-hulk, literally felt like I was reading a she-hulk comic. Loved all the Easter eggs and little self referential diggs at the mcu 😂. Great use of daredevil/Matt Murdock as well. Just wish it was a tad longer to flesh some things out like the skaar reveal, that felt a bit rushed/crammed in.
No yea true, when I mean “felt rushed”, I don’t mean that I needed them to explain everything regarding hulk, skaar and sakaar, trust me I didn’t want a planet hulk/world war hulk exposition dump in a she hulk finale 😂. I meant in terms of letting the scene breathe for a tad longer. I wanted a bit more interaction/reaction from the characters as it seems to cut off abruptly and the reactions from the family felt off considering they are seeing Bruce’s full grown son they’ve never heard about for the first time lol.
The THING in Marvel comics barged into Marvel Comics office to tell John Byrne the next story where he fights Sven Gollison and his Atomic boots was stupid, because Byrne's story had the Thing almost being killed, when the reality was that the Thing defeated Sven with a flick of his finger. Doctor Doom in Fantastic Four #10 made Stan Lee and Jack Kirby call Reed Richards to the Marvel Office so Doctor Doom could isolate and kidnap him. It worked.
The blood wasn't pointless, it represented the intrusive Marvel narrative that KEVIN was forcing into Jen's life. The whole show was Jen vs the narrative. The villain stealing or copying the hero's powers or technology is an undeniably overused trope in the MCU, and it made sense for that to be "the story that KEVIN wanted". KEVIN, ultimately, was the show's true primary antagonist.
This is definitely inspired by her 2005 comic run, when the story got real messy, due to too many intersecting plotlines. She broke the 4th Wall in that, and, had a long convo with the editors, and, writers, to try to fix it. And, the baseball cap on K.E.V.I.N.? A PERFECT touch!
I'll give them this, it WAS different and unexpected. I saw the "let's fight them in the courtroom" angle coming because lawyer show, but yeah, there's 4th wall breaking and then there's this, lol.
The misogynist trolls and edge lords got roasted this entire series - the showrunners predicted all the social media meta, right down to the dumb Shrek memes, and I fully approve of the burn. Too many intolerant toxic dudes in comics film fandom right now.
I think both emil and the wrecking crew guy didn't know who they were. That's why the wc guy said "private event". Clearly it wasn't for her not to enter since she walked right in, it was for us to know emil does motivational talks for people who hire him for a night or a seminar, like life coaches do. His motivational quotes are clearly vague enough to work with any group of people.
I CALLED IT the moment the sakaar ship came through in the pilot, Skaar would be show up and he did just that in the closing minutes of the finale. She-Hulk's one of my favorite heroines as of recently.
This was the most meta think ever.. I really enjoyed it… don’t know why people are so hateful..this is what Jen do even in comics.. she literally tore down the pages of her own comics.. I enjoyed it. Some people will never be satisfied. I agree episode 2 to 7 were kinda mid. But I loved the penultimate and finale.
If you have the subtitles on, the K.E.V.I.N. twist was sadly spoiler, as the staff constantly say it as the acronym, while Jennifer says it like Kevin.
This was, without a doubt, the most insane and bonkers MCU Disney Plus finale I have ever seen. Like, so much shit happened. The parody of the old Incredible Hulk intro, the introduction of Skaar (World War Hulk is coming) and, quite possibly, the most extreme 4th wall break ever. I honestly have no words for it. It was that crazy. Even though this is now my least favorite MCU Disney Plus series, I seriously, seriously hope we get a second season. Also, I can't wait to see more of Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk in the future. Now, if you'll excuse me, I am going to go drink the tears of the toxic piss-ant man-babies who are constantly fueling the discussion around She-Hulk. Should be delicious. #GoSupportSheHulk #GoStreamSheHulk #SheHulkSmash #SheHulkSeason2
I wouldn't be surprised if her blood ends up coming back in Captain America: New World Order. Todd was rich, but he was pretty stupid, and I still feel that the Leader is ultimately behind things.
This episode should have gone with one more ending and pulled a "Clue." I think the true ending was a bit too tidy. One more, "Wait, this is just a bit too much" from Jen would have been better. Reveal The Leader as behind it all, show Hulk and his son on Sakaar instead of back in a Hawaiian shirt, and a text from Matt Murdock saying he can't wait to see her again.
This was an amazing episode. But this is Jen’s show. She tells K.E.V.I.N that everyone has the same ending one big epic fight. This is her show. She wants to have a say in it.
I do agree the whole thing with throwing away the blood storyline. They showed it in episode 2 and kept going with it, then it just meant nothing. But I’m guessing it will come back with the new hulk movie or something.
I think the show was used to get the blood out there. It was never gonna be it's ending point. But for the new captain america movie having the leader in it and the thunderbolts movie happening I think we'll see where the blood ended up
The point of this show was to help tie several OLD and NEW names to this continuity. She-Hulk, Skaar, Datedevil, Abomination, the Wreakong Crew, Wang as Sorcerer Supreme,... and so many OTHERS!
I think all the blood stuff is probably setting up high stakes for a movie about hulks with cooler consequences than Todd. But I do feel like the point of all the heavy handed wall breaks was to *really* hit the point that this show is supposed to be different. It’s a comedy that isn’t so crucial plot-wise so it isn’t tied down to having to tie in to every other piece. (Also, love your reactions btw!)
I find it weird that I Love Jennifer and I know what they were doing with this show but it didn't have me excited. There were moments I loved but as a whole it wasn't great. On to the next Marvel show/movie.....🤣
I had fun with that major 4th wall break. However, after this I'm think Ryan Reynolds is going to be like "Wait my boy DP is the master of wall breaks so how can we amp that up for Deadpool 3". I so hope there's going to be a season 2 because now that they've got all the her decided to be a superhero she can now focus more on Lawyering and Superhero stuff in her show with personal life just being interwoven into the show. Also more random 4th wall breaks please. 😁 Well enjoyed the episode and the reactions hope the Dream Trio have a great day. 👍👍✌out.
Honestly if they didn’t break the fourth wall the season finale would have been ok. The blood thing was always gonna be in captain America new world order. The leader is gonna have somebody hulk blood.
The blood isn't pointless... it was indicating a plot that was against what the show should be about. She's absolutely right... he was the bad guy by being a bad guy - having powers is what's pointless for the purpose of the story being told.
Yeah, but it’s OK. He didn’t deserve those powers anyways because she hulk had to take those away from him by going to the marvel studios And to ask Kevin to make sure he doesn’t know what it feels like to have powers like this
✋!!!!!!!! I just watched a special on WWH! I mean, of course I know what he LEFT on that planet in the comics. 🤭😏 But are we gonna get THAT HERE!?!?! I paused at 13:50; so like good-ol Sammy said in 93, "Hold onto your butts"...
I liked it really good ... 4th wall break was so good ... The ending felt a little rush ... And we shouldn't take any of this seriously as it's only for the show ... So I'm sure daredevil won't be popping from the sky in the rest of the mcu . It was fun annd everything . Also scar kinda look wierd maybe he'll change in the movie .

Yeah, is Moon Knight the only one with mommy issues?
@@FoxyGuyHere Tommy and Billy too.
@@mr.stuffdoer8483 Well. Not really. The ones created by magic didn't have issues while alive. And those from other universe had good mom too.
That classic Hulk intro was epic! Many try to imitate the look of 70s and 80s shows but here they nailed it a 100%! And I think it's safe to say that they didn't just break the 4th wall with this episode ... they smashed it!
This show really just set up and fleshed out a whole new character, and other villains. Fantastic job!
It's very She-Hulk! She used to get into arguments with John Byrne all the time.
I'm just glad I'm not the only one who drew an immediate Blazing Saddles vibe from it.
When it went back to the disney plus screen I totally thought one of our cats walked over our Playstation controller. It got me.

Remember when she was talking to K.E.V.I.N. she said "At this point, all I really want is Emil to take accountability his actions" or something like that.
So Matt's officially in the Hulk inner-circle. What a wild ride Matt Murdock's been on the last few years.
I loved this finale. There were a few things I predicted, but I also got some surprises.
Or maybe I bias cause Daredevil showed up 🤣
This episode was weird, but I loved every bit of it!!!
Jen smash 4th wall.
I do hope they get writers with courtroom drama experience for the next season.
It was K.E.V.I.N. all along.
He didn't jump from anywhere, he just got dropped in. xD
But I think that was part of the joke, cause KEVIN tried to explain that and she said save it for the movie
@@jj1442 I believe the family is so used to having a Hulk first Bruce ,afterwards Jen that seeing Skaar was nothing shocking for them !LOL
@@jj1442 I believe the family is so used to having a Hulk first Bruce ,afterwards Jen that seeing Skaar was nothing shocking for them !LOL
Ppl like you are the reason why they make shit projects. You’re no different than a baby being entertained by a keychain
I think my ranking so far is
Falcon & The Winter Soldier
WandaVision
Loki
Hawkeye
Moonknight
What If...?
She-Hulk
Ms. Marvel
SHAMBALLAH, a WiFi password,
We're not scavengers
They like set up, then avoid the cliche marvel ending in the exact way you'd hope from this character, and dorks are mad they didn't do the cliche.
Exactly !Nailed it !
Exactly !Nailed it !
Good morning, how many walls are breaking? Us watching you watching She-Hulk, She-Hulk watching us?!? 😨🤯
Finale was amazing 😂😂😂
They went full Blazing Saddles here. Amazing.
Thank you!!! Thank you so much!! This is my favourite Marvel show, and I'm so sick of the whingers online!!! This is such a fun show!!!
"SHAMBALLA? Is this a spell?"
"It's the wifi password. We're not heathens."
Jen and matt are the cutest😭💗
I love the 4th wall. It makes her show great. Its like cake with icing. Or pie with ice cream.
The ending was perfect. No reason to change the entire format of the show for the finale like seemingly every other Marvel show has done
Plot twist: Kevin Feige is the one who wrote the dialogues of A.I. K.E.V.I.N.
Fun episode anyway! Unexpected. Bonkers. Meta!
This was an amazing episode. But this is Jen’s show. She tells K.E.V.I.N that everyone has the same ending one big epic fight. This is her show. She wants to have a say in it.
Wong probably made a portal for Daredevil.
This was an amazing ending! I am honestly surprised by your meh reaction. I guess I know how the incels will try to criticize this one.
Nothing stronger than family
that NDA isn't exaggerated xD
3:59 We all love Jen's Dad...and I love those things, good GAAAWWWDDDD
This episode frustrated me. Anxious to see what you think
We are definitely split on it.
I do agree the whole thing with throwing away the blood storyline. They showed it in episode 2 and kept going with it, then it just meant nothing. But I’m guessing it will come back with the new hulk movie or something.
Pretty sure with her referring to the super soldker serum some of this will pop up in cap 4
I think the show was used to get the blood out there. It was never gonna be it's ending point. But for the new captain america movie having the leader in it and the thunderbolts movie happening I think we'll see where the blood ended up
We are getting world war hulk 🥺 I’ve waited so long for this!!
The point of this show was to help tie several OLD and NEW names to this continuity.
She-Hulk, Skaar, Datedevil, Abomination, the Wreakong Crew, Wang as Sorcerer Supreme,... and so many OTHERS!
lol Wang
This episode was very much like how some things happened in the John Byrne run of the comics went.
The thumbnail is Everything
I think all the blood stuff is probably setting up high stakes for a movie about hulks with cooler consequences than Todd. But I do feel like the point of all the heavy handed wall breaks was to *really* hit the point that this show is supposed to be different. It’s a comedy that isn’t so crucial plot-wise so it isn’t tied down to having to tie in to every other piece. (Also, love your reactions btw!)
You know I'll say this subjectively you guys are something else
I find it weird that I Love Jennifer and I know what they were doing with this show but it didn't have me excited. There were moments I loved but as a whole it wasn't great. On to the next Marvel show/movie.....🤣
It was cool, that would cool, she hulk in NYC
Is there going to be a season 2 of she hulk?..
Well enjoyed the episode and the reactions hope the Dream Trio have a great day. 👍👍✌out.

Jen's been playing Doom 2016
Honestly if they didn’t break the fourth wall the season finale would have been ok. The blood thing was always gonna be in captain America new world order. The leader is gonna have somebody hulk blood.
Another John Carpenter film to absolutely see, Big Trouble in Little China!! Check it out, freakin awesome
Really enjoyed the finale it was a fun time
The blood isn't pointless... it was indicating a plot that was against what the show should be about. She's absolutely right... he was the bad guy by being a bad guy - having powers is what's pointless for the purpose of the story being told.
I loveeeeee the final soo muchhh
Yeah, but it’s OK. He didn’t deserve those powers anyways because she hulk had to take those away from him by going to the marvel studios And to ask Kevin to make sure he doesn’t know what it feels like to have powers like this
✋!!!!!!!!
I just watched a special on WWH! I mean, of course I know what he LEFT on that planet in the comics. 🤭😏
But are we gonna get THAT HERE!?!?!
I paused at 13:50; so like good-ol Sammy said in 93, "Hold onto your butts"...
This could be a stretch...but...What if the narrator here was the WATCHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved this episode so much
