Haven’t seen gadget on tv since Light TV and now it’s on MeTV! Perfect
For me, Inspector Gadget on MeTV Toons feels like watching Nickelodeon in the late 80s, 90s and early 2000's all over again.
I seen the mustache intro of Inspector Gadget. And here, the show was reran on local syndication on WTAT-TV Fox 24 (Cable Channel 6) in S.C. in the early 90's.
I never that mustache intro of Inspector Gadget.
And yet here I am.
The show that ended with Qubo! Glad MeTV Toons brought IG back. RIP Qubo!
Oops, I was wrong about them using the upcoming HD restorations of Inspector Gadget, as seen here. But mark my words, once they become available they _will_ switch to the restored prints someday!

Just love this 80’s favorite ❤️ 🤩 😍 cartoon 🎞️ 🎥 📼 📺 show and it’s big return to the live television scene 🎬 especially this episode to ties-in with NBC Universal Networks’ broadcasts of the 2024 summer Paris, France 🇫🇷 Olympic Games.

Seeing Inspector Gadget ran on CBS I can see how it was cheaper that get that show.
It's good that MeTV Toons aired the pilot episode of season 1 of Inspector Gadget aired. It was great to see our dim-witted hero again after a 1 long decade. He used to be on:

I'm looking forward to seeing the HD remasters/restorations of Inspector Gadget one day, since MeTV Toons is currently showing those same Cookie Jar prints that WildBrain sent them. Then, MeTV Toons will either show the older prints from the original syndicated prints, Nickelodeon, CBS Kid TV Saturday Morning, the Family Channel (FAM TV), Bohbot Entertainment syndicated rerun prints, FOX Family/ABC Family, and the This TV prints. Once they became available they will switched to the restored prints of all 2 seasons one day.

Interesting fact: MeTV Toons sped up the intro and ending credits by about 10%.
Too bad they didn't air the Gary Owens version of the pilot first!
😮Gary Owens almost became the voice of Inspector Gadget!
