Shelley here, been through this after 2nd child born in 18 months. Very difficult panic attacks & childhood issues that follow you. It's awful but anyone listening hang in there you will recover!🙏

She has star quality both professionally and personally but all presented with a genuine life affirming perspective. It’s a great talent that connects on so many levels - she truly has earnt and deserves all the accolades she receives.

I feel quite guilty. I’ve been through a lot in the last 10 years . I can’t walk. My husband died 18 months ago after 56 years of marriage and I binge watch on my iPad most of the night. I’ve just watched about 20 hours of Halifax. It totally involved me until I got to sleep. I adore Rebecca and want to thank her for that series. I’m not surprised she had a breakdown withe the time and effort she put into that series. Perhaps she works too hard. I believe a new series is starting here filmed in New Zealand. That’s where I live. I do hope she enjoyed her time here. ❤️🌈🌹

Thanks for sharing and speaking out. It’s so important. I pretty much had the same childhood with more abuse. Around the age of 30 I started getting panic attacks. Tried to deal with them for 12 years and then finally sought out help. I was in therapy for 8 years and it was hard work, but it brought me so much further. It’s important to get rid of the stigma! Thank you.

Thank you for sharing. I went through the same situation a few years ago and kept it to myself at the time fearing being labelled. It's good that people are more understanding these days.

Very helpful. Thank you, Rebecca. I also found I was deficient in minerals, especially magnesium. Love you in Wanted, sure hope to see Season 4 and more!

Just about to go back to Halifax fp - after 20 years ! Excited by the deja vu retro a series that was as good as Morse . Never really became a cult in the UK used to show it late on BBC 2 .

Living in the now is great however Rebecca had to go back through her past to work everything out 'the triggers' so it's important to know that she is in a good place now in 'the now' the past and working through it is how she can NOW do the NOW !!! Right??!! Health love and light to ALL (the gal from oz)

Time is not a motion picture. The past isn't preserved in static shots that can be revisited or invoked at need by your mind. Think of Time as a cosmic wave, one moment, one day, today is the crest of a wave moving forward only. The past is dead, there is no life in it anymore, and the future has not yet happened. The future is the journey on a strange road, the destination is unknown. It doesn't live yet either. Only We do, now. The cliche "ẗhatś why it's The Present" is Truth. Being "ïn the moment" is all there is to do, all we have.

Jesus is the great healer but we are also emotional beings along with being spiritual beings.

I am a Christian. I have been in ministry for 25+ years. I have quietly fought depression for most of my life because it was frowned upon by the church and my family. After more crisis in my life than I would care to talk about my husband of 30+ years and soul mate in ministry passed away this year. That has been the hardest part. My doctor has told me that I am on the verge of a physical and mental breakdown and I have to reprioritize my life immediately. God of course is # 1, my family second (daughter and my elderly parents), and finally my long hours job to pay bills third (hubby's disease through no fault of his left me deeply in debt). I have no idea what more I can do to make changes and I sure can not afford a therapist ( not covered by my insurance). I have my faith in God and that gets me through each day.

Thank you for your honesty. I too am a Christian, but we are also human beings as well and we are not immune to the problems of life. Have you talked to your parents about this.
