He's been married to his childhood sweetheart for 43 years, since he was 22 years old and they met when he was 16. As I understand it, this song is about one of the rougher patches in his marriage when he was struggling to find the balance between rock star and his duties as a husband.
Great reaction. You had me cracking up. Check out U2’s Until the End of the World live from Sydney on the ZooTV tour. You’ll see why Bono is one of the greatest front men ever.
Imagine how she felt Lol..Luckiest girl in the world..her boyfriend should be happy for her lol. she got to experience what rarely anyone would get to.
If you want to see other examples of U2 interacting with the crowd, check out "Mysterious Ways - Paris 2017", or their Live Aid performance. Unfortunately the Mysterious Ways video is likely from a camera phone so the quality isn't great, but it's still quite fun.
Meeeeen!! Love your reactions!! Please please please check and react to "U2 - Running to stand still Wher The streets have no name - Live Sydney" - You deffinetly will enjoy it or, also from this same show, the "Love Is Blindness - Live Sydney" with the most amazing guittar solo on earth from this Band. Keep it up with those amazing reactions!!
U2 are an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1976. The group comprises Bono, the Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen. Can't say that this performance is one of my favourites, but I will say that the song 'With or Without You' is one I do like. I think that there are far better performances of this great song. Yes, Bono has a habit of interacting with the crowd, I remember that at Live Aid, I bet that was a memory of a lifetime for them too!! 😂😂
Enjoyed the review, Bono has regularly brought women on stage over the years. Especially in his younger days. Most famously at live aid. There’s better vocal performances of with or without you out there all though Bono did do an amazing job off his back but this is what a live track is all about, not knowing what’s going to happen, audience participation, being a different song to on record. U2 are possibly the greatest live band of all time and it’s because of things like this. Try U2 Bad from Live Aid. Legendary performance
Bono … is pronounced baa-no. This is not the best video of the song. Hard to sing lying down. Your generation is so judgmental and up tight. First of all…. She’s not there with her boyfriend. Second… the whole reason you pay for front row, is a chance for that moment. He was very young there and this song was released in 1987. My generation? The guys were …awww go have fun, ya only live once! Everyone knows the first three rows at a rock concert … all woman waiting for this moment. That young woman is my age now and this memory will last a lifetime. You’d take that from her?
Why so serious 😃 how do you know she wasn’t there with her boyfriend 😃 who cares the reviewer was joking around😃she had a memory of a lifetime. I’d happily pass my wife up to have that memory with Bono 😂
@@christianreynolds9252. Good! I’m glad to hear that. I’ve seen many reactors on here from this generation react possessively when watching women interact with the performers. I’ve been to so many concerts, in front rows, back when it was affordable. Only in large arenas, security backs us up at least four feet from stage. We were right up there, normally. Seriously there were no guys up there except security. The things I’ve witnessed? Most of the bands really love the front rows interaction. I’ve been to U2 concert but not that close. I think it was like row 15. It was harder to get tickets for international bands. They sell out quick. And they keep front rows for “special guests”. Honestly I reacted because I’ve watched many reactors make the same comments. Most have never been to a rock concert. Joking or not, women should be able to have fun and make harmless memories. That was my point! Fun fact… did you know that Bono is legally blind. That’s why he wears sunglasses all the time.

U2 just had something special. ❤

I loved them when they came out & have ever since.
Don't expect any blasting solos by the Edge...but he is brilliant in his playing style....sort of like Steve Hackett from Genesis

U2.... luv their earlier works. Really intense....
I named my rescue Maltese, Bono!
I used to have a Maltese! Great dogs!! Love the name too...I love U2.
✌️&♥️
It's probably their most famous song. This and "one."

If you think thats crazy you HAVE to check out Robbie Williams at Knebworth Come Undone. He took a girl on stage and meant business haha
You should listen to "THERE'S A PLACE FOR US" by Barbra Striesand. I see you appreciate good music
Suggestion: U2 Bad at Live Aid

@@annemaclean6634. I’ve seen them on do guest appearances and I’ve seen them live. That’s not how Bono says his name, nor is it how he introduced.
