That's so great! My wish is that people have a good time with it, it's a real bummer when Design Space has so many issues. Seems a lot of that has been resolved. TYSM!
Cute & fast card! I did use the Joy app to make mine which is limited as far as designs if you don't have their subscription. Probably will use Design Space to design my own card but for a quick card, this works.
Yes, I was just surprised bc when they Joy came out there were dozens of designs for the card inserts...they've taken those same designs and put them behind a paywall for Access now. That's not right...but I suppose it is what it is at this point. TY!!
Glad I could help! I try them bc that's what my channel's about, but I do want people to know what they're getting into if the choose to pick one up. TYSM!! (:
Hi Vianney ~ I did not order the Joy, but I still like to see what you make and how it's working. It's just not something I'd be into plus I'm on a budget. I do really like the foil I do have DP foil and love it!!
I so appreciate these videos. I have always wanted a Cricut and have been on the fence. I’m glad I didn’t pick this one up, looks too confusing for me. Not something I could see myself using often. I love watching and learning!
They have different sizes of the Joy inserts, kind of like small, regular, and larger 🙂. Also, you aren't limited to foiling on card inserts and you can make your own design to foil in design space.
Thank you for sharing your cutie card! They need more free items on Design Space for the Joy for foiling. That's just my take on it. Thank you for all you do! You're very much appreciated !
So, whenever they first came out with the Joy they had dozens of insert card designs, a lot of them had "writing" on them...used the pens. They took those same designs and put them in Access...so now we have to pay. They didn't make anything "new' for the foiling...just kept the same designs from before and locked away a lot of them. These people!!! /:
I ordered this to go with my Joy, I don't know why, lol I guess I just figured she must be accessorized with all the things 🤷🏾♀️. It hasn't arrived yet. I really prefer hot foiling or hot foil press stuff. Thanks Vianney!
This video makes me want to own more Tonic dies and tidal wave paper. Lol. It appears this system is easier to use than before, I’m guessing. That’s a plus.
I notice that you didn't get the foil taught enough maybe that is why it didn't foil that one part. I saw the foil moving in that area. Thanks for all your videos I appreciate your opinions of products.
Maybe...during Anna's demos the foil was about the same and it didn't seem to be an issue. The tape definitely got in the way but most of the foiling still stuck pretty well in that area, so that was good.
I didn’t get this foil bundle because it looked like the foiling that AG did was really thin lines. I’m pretty sure Cricut will sell it on their site if I decide to get it later. Might have missed out on the bundle deal though. Oh well🤷♀️
I just bought the foil kit and have the card insert packs. I think it doesn’t foil evenly on the card inserts because they have a linen type texture and therefore ‘bumpy’ surface not smooth.
What a bummer to have to pay to use the ones you REALLY want! I mean, after you buy all the expensive equipment to start with and then to find out they want MORE money!! ~Janice
Yeah, I think that may be a little of my aversion, too. I don't know. It's nice to make up something quickly and I do like having the larger machine for scrapbook pages. Cards like this one definitely look machine made. (;
I agree wholeheartedly! I bought it mainly to print sentiments and/or sayings fir my stamped and die cut cards. Seems like you don't always gave the right saying for your card. 😆
Forgot to say how much I appreciate your expertise and patience !!!!!!!!
I got the Cricut joy and I am loving it for quick cards and labels. TFS!~Cheryl

I love your honesty, thank you.

Thanks for sharing. I was just learning how to use my Cricut Joy and this is helpful.
Thank you very much for keeping it real. You helped me a lot to make my decision about theses machines. They are money hungers!

Hi thanks for the video. I got my foil kit yesterday. Cricut has 2 different size on the cards. They came out with the new size not long ago :)

@@VianneyCreates It's all definitely frustrating. I don't have the Joy but I can totally relate .
Thanks for showing and sharing!
You bet! TY!

LOL! Tidal Wave and Water Sprite are my most favorite!!! SO pretty! (:
Love the card
Thank you!

Nice card, bummer you have to pay for more foil card designs. I picked up the Joy on craft day, hope I really love it.

To me this seems a bit intense for me----------possibly because I am old and not tech savvy !!!!!! LOL

I totally agree. I love their card bases, they are a really nice paper. The texture is definitely not great for the foiling. TY!
Cricut is coming out with 3 sizes of the card bases.
They are already out, I was them on HSN...I just assumed these would be standard A2! Pretty cool I got a size I don't already have. TYSM!!

Are you going to keep it? Doesn’t seem like it’s worth the money. Personal opinion.
I enjoyed watching this in action, but am glad I did not purchase. I guess when I make a card I like it to look handmade instead of machine generated.

Yeah, my sentiment exactly. Not thrilled with it.
