R12 was not completely soldered. And many others too. Simply not enough time for paste to melt and wet the pads. Also, why not dispence the paste directly from syringe using a dispensing needle of right diameter? Much more accurate, faster and no need to dirty the screwdriver :)

I would solder faster and more evenly with ordinary solder and a soldering iron.

@@engineeringthinkitsimple9843 BGA and QFN(up to 32, 48) I soldered by hand thousands of times. Large QFN rework will be even harder than BGA soldering. Of course, BGAs like memory chips or small router processors. Bridges, GPU, APU, CPU, SoC only with BGA rework stations.

Do not use cream lead with a low melting point. While using the PCB, the chips fall off due to heat generation.

Cara eu acho impressionante como funciona essa pasta de solda que eles usam, fica perfeito, sempre trabalhei com solda em estanho e era um pouco complicado pra soldar os componentes tão bem alinhados
Just my opinion but it can be done with an iron & minimize chances of short. I reserve solder paste for very small work & reballing.

Можно и без пасты: залудить пятачки с горочкой, намазать флюсом, посадить компонент и задуть феном. Но это, конечно, не так удобно.
Пяточки лучше горчицей намазать!
Пяточки лучше скурить, а паяться - к контактным площадкам.

@@yourewrong3624 Not including lead. An alloy based on almost pure tin with a small addition of silver or copper. Unlike lead alloys, it melts at a much higher temperature and is not suitable for home soldering. Sorry if I write badly, English is not my native language. I took the term "lead free" from the inscriptions on the coils of such solder, I didn't know they don't say that.

The magic of solder dust in flux that melts
Fine solder dust mixed with flux. It melts quickly and tinkers itself. The principle is the same as bga soldering, the balls tin the pads themselves. It's all in the flux.

I can see the past under the resistance is spreaded , well as it is a low value resistance you may can just apply the past over, but your work is wrong bro
Pz do not smear so much flux on the pads as this will result in not only unnecessary wastage and pollution but will shorten the life of the pads and bit as well. A small pindrop would be quite sufficient.
Thats not flux its solder paste with only small percentage of flux you can clean it afterward without problem your statement makes no sense a drunk guy with no knowledge would make more sense flux is necessary everywhere it keeps solder clean from corosion and dirt build up

how many degrees have you applied ??? which FAN level did you apply to?
Depends of type of pasta. Lowest pasta that I ever seen is 138°C. Usually is 183°C
Also fan speed could be the lowest too to not blow away the components and like the guy above said you can easily apply even 300c on a 138c paste it will insta melt it so you keep heating it only 2-3 seconds without burning the component
