Did you know? Because most Apex players don't actually know what mildots are. They are the dots that show up when you aim in on sniper scopes. They actually mean something and aren't just there for aesthetic purposes.

Gotcha on my shorts feed good shit brotha 👌
Ayyy let’s goooo
I miss ur videos
Jesus is the only way to heaven
Being a good person won’t get you there.
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6 ESV
Repent from your sin(disobedience to God) and turn to God and follow Him so that you will be saved
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:9 ESV
“No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
Luke 13:3 ESV
Guy kinda looks like an alternative universe version of smii7y
Battle field players: Stupid knowledge ive known for years
Exactly man, 0 wisdom on this video everyone knows that
i feel the same way since i’ve been playing phantom forces for years
@@dominusghaulttv5473based on the number of likes, that’s a negative. Anyone with weapon/ shooting knowledge probably already does.
omg you guys are so cringe, not everyone knows about gun lmao this is for them who are new, stfu
True, we know what the distance is without numbers
bro just explained sniper scopes for me in general not only apex legends
I mean in games
Ye but like gamers won't immediately try to figure it that or the scope just jack shit meaning or Actually doesn't have it
@@lag00n54 Bruh what?????
@@CheezeTornadoVEVOhe's just going insane don't mind him
Other than Fortnite, it doesn't actually scale whatsoever, but hopefully you don't actually play that game lol
Been playing for 4years never noticed the horizontal dots. Actually cool. But i doubt this is very useful unless your target is standing still, because it takes time to setup a shot
its actually really useful but it just depends on how far they are
Bro no way 4 years and you didn't know that, you're the bots I kill
Vantage does all this automatically for you. When you play her and zoom in on a snipers scope, notice she'll have a dot already marked on the lines for you to line up and hit your target.
Vantage isn't played much but she is low-key kinda nice, with all her passive abilities. I think she would be a pretty nice ranked legend for a certain play style. Not necessarily for mine 😅 but for someone's play style lol
@@happysauce4113omg, you’re so cool 🤩
@Kayb1o cooler then you
I'm so used to games using mildots for flavor that i didn't even know these were properly functional
They are useful in almost every game, when firing, check where the first shot goes on the mil line and then use that mil line as the cross hair from then on.
also if you're playing as Vantage, part of her passive is sniper scopes show where to aim for a headshot for whatever enemy you're scoped in at.
Her passive very bugged and most of the time didn't actually let you know where to aim
@@il_key works fairly consistent for me. but good to know
@@minimax1392 her passive is good, but every time i need to use it across the map or in a craber she just points to the center😭
@@il_key ur slow
@@il_key I noticed it only works if you are actually aiming at a person; it doesn't work if you're just looking around
As a combat veteran who plays Apex I definitely know what mildots are hahaha
Have you seen how GrndpaGaming uses the mildots on Battlefield 3 ? He's insane with his shots !!
@@RecklessTito gramps is cracked yo
I knew there was gonna be at least 1 person commenting something like that lmao
@xForeverActivex dude yes. Had to be the "look at me I know what they are I'm better" guy
@@REAPER3fitty Not everyone really think they are better if they know something, but most of them does think like that...
To think that someone doesn’t know ballistics in a shorter game is mind boggling
Not really
@peeturion7308 yes it is my friend
i knew about the mildots going up and down but idk how i didn't know about the ones to lead your shot on a running target.
bro if started playing battlefield before apex you know how useful mildots are
This is actually good advice for all games especially for battlefield and maybe Cod
I had knowledge on the bullet drop distance, but i had no clue about the moving draw distance. Thanks for that info.👍
Basic sniper knowledge ☠️
Remember ping is ur friend when using this
Been playing since season 2... and I figured this out right away. Very vital for snipers
Oh wow this is actually really really helpful. A genuinely helpful generic apex tip is hard to find these days
I've been using vertical dots for years but never knew the horizontal dots were useful, good to know!
Same, I knew the vertical ones
I wish they added a perminant mode or LTM mode for sniper battles/practice.
In Apex mobile, there is a weekly event where it is only shotguns, only pistols, and only snipers that are being rotated.
Shame the game dropped
🤯 I’ve been searching for something like this to learn how to lead my bullets, thank a lot!!! Can u make a vid on how to do that for some of the other weapons in apex too
Please
I’ll definitely research it, but I figure most weapons are going to have similar bullet drop. Plus, while it’s useful with sniper scopes I’m not sure how useful the knowledge will be with the other scopes.
I’ll give it a whirl in the range but I’m fairly confident most fights people won’t need to calculate distance
Been playing Apex for more than 1000 hours never thought of that.
so bro never even tried a single cod game before 😭 or even got good enough at apex to learn
@@leonardocastellanos7344 I just aim n pray
I’ve been playing for almost 3k and I still didn’t know that😂😂😂
@@leonardocastellanos7344 Apex is my only shooting battle royale game just because has some similarities to Warframe (movement wise)
And only my 2nd PvP game. (I play only 2 online PvP games the other one is MasterDuel Yu-Gi-Oh).
I avoid multiplayer PvP games like the plague.
I mostly play singleplay or PvE games.
@@leonardocastellanos7344 Throughout the majority of the COD franchises history the mildots were extremely inaccurate. I don't play COD anymore so I can't say how accurate the new ones are.
This was actually the most informative advice I’ve ever heard of when it comes to apex. I’ve just been estimating the distance with the bullet drop. This is going to get so much easier.
In reality they will move randomly and would work a lil different. But yeah, for the height is usefull
only thing i wish they did was make the horizontals lines match the shoulder width of the targets at those distances for quick ranging
Watching this short like my brain will actually remember this when I'm playing the game
As someone who absolutely loves sniping i knew this
next game i am running a sentinel pretending to be a prof sniper
Just be glad most games don't involve a wind differential, because if they did, man, oh man, are you gonna have a bad time trying to get your shots in when a 20 mph wind speed is changing from left to right or fully left than out of no where. No winds. So, just be glad wind differential isn't in arcade shooters like apex, cod, and battlefield because those side mildots are for wind speed as well
So true, even temperature can change things
I only remembering how fast the bullets is, how far the target is, and how fast the target is moving😂
been playing battlefield since i was in middle school, never knew how exactly the mildots worked till now, especially the tiny lines!! thank you for the quick breakdown! ❤
Learned this in real life and I never expected it too help me snipe in games so much
The left and right shot leading thing is cool, still hard to hit long range tho because of 3 dimensions and variable speeds but that definitely helps.
I apologize if any of you have been nailed with my sentinel shots
I didn’t register the horizontal dots for some reason and have been guess on leading my shots my entire life. Thank you!
i knew mildots could be used to accomodate for bullet dropoff but i never really put together the fact that i could use the dots on the horizontal axis to hit moving targets.
Wow I actually didn’t know about the horizontal lines, thanks
Its hard to notice these things when u getting shot by 3 teams at once. If it moves, u shoot thats it😂😂
I thought this was common sense 🥲
the horizontal ones are not very useful if your target is slower (walking) or faster (octane) than the average running speed
Battlefield player "that's common knowledge small one"
I feel so cool when I tell my duo “they’re 200 meters away, use number 2” and he hits his shot.
(He genuinely doesn’t know how mil dots works even tho I tell him everyday)
Thank you I was wondering why I was missing by a hair on most shots
HAHAHAHAHA
I new it but its a usefull Video for New players
Did not know how to use the horizontal ones at all. Thanks!
Bro is a certified apex nerd and I got no problem
I knew about the bottom vertical line. I had no idea the horizontals were useful as well. Appreciate it! 🎉
I was wondering how sometimes I go god mode on the Kraber and most times I miss everything for some reason; so *THIS* was the reason!
Good info thx man. I only knew how to use vertical dots
Now i gotta train with this cuz i actually use sentinal but never noticed the mildots
You got me with the horizontal dots
been playing since season 8.. with 2k hours on steam..
i swear to god i never know the horizontal line..
thank you!
It's pretty easy to snipe in Apex rather than PUBG, just get used to tracking enemies movement and bullet velocity
5 years into the game and we are figuring out things that are in every other game
And that game makes it easy. The zoomed scopes already adjust for the drop of each different weapon.
I dont play apex much anymore but I'm fully aware of mildot in scopes. The only issue is that they're hard to use fast pace so you're usually better off not using them completely.
The vertical lines 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
I thought it was basic knowledge in all video games with sniper rifles
I eventually found out the mildots ranging what meters in the firing range BUT THE VERTICAL IS CRAZYYY that is so gonna help me better aim efficiently next time
Me: this is so useful!
Also me: alright so if I take a rough guess.. *miss*
Now all of this is good knowledge but there are a lot of variables for the leading part(sideways dots) like how fast the target is moving and which direction. What legend they are(for hitbox and knowledge of if they can move faster) if they are crouching or sprinting or sliding, etc.
I knew about the bullet drop but leading the bullet with the mildots is tough
I'm bouta go crazy with the sniper now
Bro same😂😂😂
Same Here.
I learned this from that veteran old guy that be sniping
This isn’t exclusive to apex this is present within most military grade marksman scopes, it helps to locate and optimize your shots with much better effectiveness, You don’t want to waste ammo after all. These scopes can be present with most games who choose to have at least some degree of realism within their games involving weaponry. I’m just pointing this out for anyone who’s curious.
I knew about the horizontal lines but not the vertical lines, never even noticed them
Sick, I knew the distance ones, but not the vert ones.
And then there's Vantage, who completely eliminates the need for mildots
I was gonna say how do people not know this. Then I remember gamers don`t look up
Thank you. I've never noticed. Always estimated or used mid range.
I know about the vertical one and how to predict your shots, but i didnt know about the horizontal one with the distance being so specific. I didnt expect the distance to be the second dot, more like first
Thank you for this! I love this game, but am terrible at it. I just keep trying and try to only play with people I know (so ppl don't get pissed at me).
Meanwhile titanfall 2 players with the kraber: hold my beer.
i never new this
I’ve been using those dots since season 1. Hit a 874 meter shot after estimating 6, 7, 8 & 9 placements.
You know what, thats the reason ive never picked up a sniper. Imma try now
keep in mind snipers aren't hitscan, therefore there is diffrent bullet arch depending on where how low or high u are from the target
I think this is common knowledge for any shooter with a scope. My issue with it is how the hell you can judge distance in a video game.
I even knew this but somehow I didn't know the horizontal one
It is insane how people didn’t know that
Using Mil Dots is why I get messages about aim boting. 😂
Bro helped me so much
I, as a vantage player, know these very well.
Matter of fact, I did know about them. I just couldn't figure out how to lead the target. So the second half was really useful
I feel like everybody knew this lol we were never told or taught it, we just knew.
About time somebody explains it I was about to go join the army😂
An actually helpful apex tip thanks dude
Shiit, my boy giving away the secrets
Ur so underrated ong❤❤
I know from real life experience. My father took sniping classes in the military and taught me about some these things.
I legit didn't know about the horizontal mildots
I knew about the mildots, didn't know the name for them, and didn't know that's what the ones to the side and above were for, thank you very much, kendov!
Surprising that people didn't know what these were, I thought it was obvious
We gettin drafted with this one
Very useful cheers
Learned this from using longbow back in the day
i genuinely didn't believe they worked correctly when i started playing apex and i could have been right, i recently used them with a kraber and found it useful so perhaps some sights were broken though i remember consistently thinking they were off.
Never knew the horizontal part lmao
That’s actually really helpful, thanks
I didn’t know that about the side ones but I did about the bullet drop ones. The seems very helpful. Thanks
tarkov and battlefield players: idiots!! I've known this for years!!
This is insane, how did i not know this
Good tip ive been using this trick for about a few month’s definitely helps with sniping
