    Please... What's the next option, saddle bags? How about handle bars instead of a steering wheel? Or maybe a boat throttle. How about a pickup bed..oh they already did that, lol

    Definitely a better option for a jeep with automatic transmission

      It’s never bothered me before 🤷🏼‍♂️ they haven’t had them for any Jeep before, oh how did they survive!! I’m just trying to make it easier to take on and off, because I like a lot of people, I take the doors off a lot

    Definitely a better option for those with automatic transmissions while off-roading to self check clearance.

    @Ben Anton Couldn't you just slide the door check stap into the door, without removing it? I hear is it really difficult to slide back out. I'm thinking of doing this and just pulling them out in the winter.

    • @benanton2619
      @benanton2619  6 років тому +1

      I thought you could but the piece is pretty tough to push back with your hand, and getting it back out would be another thing. Also it would still be hitting in the same area and scratching up/peeling paint around where the bolt goes into the door frame everyone it’s closed

    • @keefyboy
      @keefyboy 6 років тому +1

      If I get the enough balls, I might try pushing it back by closing the door, with a rag where the bolt goes....it appears that there is a gap between the door and jeep tub where the flap on the end of stick would fit; then, I'd fold the flap and cover it with a small piece of tape.

    I would just put my foot on the door frame or the step board when I have the doors off while driving.

      Ya I used to just rest my foot in the hinge of my lj. But since I’m keeping the rock sliders and not getting step bars I wouldn’t be able to put my foot there so this solves that problem!

    3:20 I rented a JK and a JL a month later and noticed the door prop hinge on the JL(it was too cold to remove them anyways). Those 2 times I rented one convinced me to buy my own JK. I couldn’t get a JL, I don’t like the prop, side vents, fender lights, lights in the visor mirror and other small things like that.

    I was waiting to see you get on them to see if it can handle wt when a person deals with roof racks. Not drive with your foot on it.

    Seems like a good way to loose your leg or foot in a accident. No thanks, but thanks for review!

  • @jamesinkeys

    Foot pegs are for accessing, getting to the roof rack , ...right?

    • @9929kingfish
      @9929kingfish 6 років тому +1

      jamesinkeys that’s what I thought. Putting your foot on the outside of the vehicle doesn’t seem like a good idea.

    • @benanton2619
      @benanton2619  6 років тому +1

      It depends, these footpegs are in fact for resting your foot while driving. But there are other variants that allow you to access a roof rack. Notice on the ones in the video that they are angled backwards, and not flat. That is intentional for the angle that your foot will rest on them instead on standing on flat ones which would allow a better surface for standing on.

    I never did understand why people want to put their foot out the door when driving doesn't make sense think about it not to mention you could lose your leg or your foot and if you ever have a rollover you going to have your feet probably come out that's why they make tube doors if you've ever drove an RZR enrolled one you'll understand what I'm talking about first thing that happens if you don't have doors on them or you take the Nets off which most uncommon doors now you roll it over your feet will come out and you will roll and crush your feet we seen a guy doing on a rhino before and had that his legs amputated that's why I must your RZR as mail come with doors to keep your feet in them so you don't lose a leg or foot never thought or knew why people think it's cool to ride down the road with your foot sticking out the open doorless Jeep. my baby I just think I look stupid going down the road your foot sticking out I guess people think it looks cool that's their opinion I think it looks stupid

  • @wildwoody20
    @wildwoody20 6 років тому +1

    I hope you look back at this video you'll see how stupid it looks with a foot sticking out the Jeep. It makes no sense for safety or at all except trying to look cool that's the only reason people do it because it looks cool they think you'll never convince me it's safe and it looks cool sorry
