- About an hour and a half north of San Francisco is the Napa Valley, a mecca to wine lovers across the country and around the world. For Ceja Vineyards winemaker Dalia Ceja, wine is her business and her life: She works hard every day to meet the needs of the vineyard as well as its clients. But Ceja's job is also a family affair: Her parents immigrated from Mexico and struggled to build their business from scratch. Today, Ceja celebrates its heritage and proves that the American dream is very much alive. glam.com.

I would've liked to see her working in the real process of wine making, not just wine tasting and selling. She's a businesswoman more than she is a winemaker from what I saw in this video...
This speaks to me and my family because in 2010 my dad and my step mom decided to make a vineyard and then now in 2017 almost 2018 we own a winery with two of my dads friends who also have vineyards and it’s probably the hardest thing my family’s ever done but it’s the best the winery is doing amazing in November of 2018 we’ll have the winery open for a year and we just introduced a new wine and it’s been probably the greatest years for my family
But she's not a winemaker... she's in marketing.
Love how down to earth this is! There aren't any wineries or vineyards where i live, so this was incredibly interesting to watch!
Thank you Carina! Please come and visit!
@@daliaceja9177 I don't drink anymore, but there is something so fascinating about wine, vineyards, and wineries. I would like to visit a winery, and experience a great dinner, great cheeses, the whole experience! Please tell me what a day or night of wine tasting entails. What are your prices to visit? Thank you and thank you for sharing this video!🍇🙋🏾♀️
As a winemaker myself i love this video, there are so many faces in winemaking today. Gracias
I recently just had their Ceja "Pinot Noir" and......its the best i have ever had. Insanely good, drank it while eating sushi and good god it was GOOD!!! The pinot Noire was recommended to me by a Sommelier and a wine store and he swears by it. Glad i tried it and highly recommend their pinot noir!!! Love you guys at Ceja, god bless!!!
All the women winemakers that I know many since I'm in the business and I'm grand child of winemakers from the Loire Valy, they do everything by themselves: viticulture, wine-making, bottling, R&D, marketing, sales, roadshows, masterclasses and family. You can only do it if you are motivated. Most of them cannot afford hiring or simply because they are perfectionists. And as a perfectionist myself, we can be a pain in people's ass.
Great story, well made video!
Very interesting, great video! Love these types of videos thank you!
Cheers!
So inspiring story
I love these videos
I agree with the rest of the people but in very intrigued in getting into the viticulture major. I’ve been indecisive of which major to choose, either that or agribusiness. But I might minor in agribusiness and major in viticulture now :)
winemakers starts at 6am ;)
Great video. Ceja wines are consistently delicious.
Ooh I used to follow you on Facebook. Loved Tastefully Offensive 😀
+Clover Vaira Used to?! :)
TastefullyOffensive.com Only cos I don't really use Facebook now 😊
Muchas gracias amigo! So proud of everything you've accomplished with your website! Very cool.
I'll be sure to visit next trip to Napa. ☺️
...Ceja is outside of the Valley, locals don't call that area part of Napa or the Napa Valley. Still quality wine just not Napa Valley Wine.
This lady definitely has a great story, but she is not a winemaker. She is Director of Sales & Marketing at this winery. Sorry, that's sales, not winemaking!
My favorite one!
Thank you Daisy! Please visit us the next time you're in Napa Valley! Abrazos
I’m a WSET L2 working for Majestic Wines in uk. Can I work for you? 😊 I love winemaking
Get me a job..I’m a WSET and winemaker student in Uk…😊
Hello, wow very impresionate, i have finished viticulture- enology, how can i be a internship in your winery ? greetings from Albania (Europe)
eres una buena llegua
For a Mexicana, you must have a lot of Spaniard blood.
Definitely not what I call "winemaker" who's supposed to be both working in and understanding the vineyards and the winery...
Ups tuck shady full of dirt family beware
What a joke
