Sorry to burst your bubble but this statement is false. Avicii was great but it was actually Swedish House Mafia that broke the barrier and led "EDM" into the mainstream. Tim's major influences were Axwell, Angello, Ingrosso ,Prydz and Daft Punk (nearly every mainstream dance producer is influenced by Daft Punk) a valid reference "www.quora.com/What-musicians-influenced-Avicii" (answered by Avicii himself). SHM were the first ever DJs to play and sell out a major US venue (Madison Square Garden) which then allowed the rest to follow. Now all State of the Art clubs in the US such as Vegas, LA etc. are now headlined by EDM artists which included Avicii. Even though these artist were mainstream and already big in Europe ultimately the US is the big fish that dictates music pop culture and how it's accepted across the world. I've been following dance music for 18 years across many different genres so not trying to bring a biased view but I like to state the facts.

Goosebumps! I first heard Levels at first year of uni in 2011 as a fresher and well it set the nightlife scene for me. Such a talent that man had. As the comments say below it's ironic you can miss someone you never met. Least we have his legacy to listen to.
It's so strange. Avicii's music has always made me to live, it's so life-enhancing. It still does that to me, but he's probably the only well-known figure whose fate I think about with such emotion.
I have come to the realization that some of Avicii's best tracks are the unreleased ones. Enough Is Enough (Let Me Show You Love), Always On The Run, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (Avicii tour mix), Lord, I'll Be Gone and Make Your Move (Avicii mix). I hope that one day they'll get released and get the attention and appreciation they deserve.

Thanks for creating this channel; I have been suffering some for of adiction to Tim's mucsic and struggling with the idea that he is not alive. I search up his interviews and play his music and I felt like I was almost getting depressed. The realization that there are people who care about Tim like me. I am trying to help myself by thinking more logically and try to celebrate his life instead. I love Timm; I love Tim; I love Tim honestly. I still cry when I play some songs of his. Goosebumps! I first heard Levels at first year of uni in 2011 as a fresher and well it set the nightlife scene for me. Such a talent that man had. As the comments say below it's ironic you can miss someone you never met. Least we have his legacy to listen to.

It's so strange. Avicii's music has always made me to live, it's so life-enhancing. It still does that to me, but he's probably the only well-known figure whose fate I think about with such emotion.

I have come to the realization that some of Avicii's best tracks are the unreleased ones. Enough Is Enough (Let Me Show You Love), Always On The Run, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall (Avicii tour mix), Lord, I'll Be Gone and Make Your Move (Avicii mix).
I hope that one day they'll get released and get the attention and appreciation they deserve.

Thanks for creating this channel; I have been suffering some for of adiction to Tim's mucsic and struggling with the idea that he is not alive. I search up his interviews and play his music and I felt like I was almost getting depressed. The realization that there are people who care about Tim like me. I am trying to help myself by thinking more logically and try to celebrate his life instead.
