Me, as a very new artist, can tell you that it takes quite a bit of talent just to be able to even use the software necessary to make these songs... The learning curve is incredible, and professional producers DO, in fact, spend countless hours writing lyrics and changing tones. Many of the changes they make are incredibly subtle, but go very far to raise the production quality of songs. I know from experience, trust me.

Matteo MX Yeah, saw his announcement yesterday. Has to be somehow related to his health. He hasn't looked too good lately. A couple of years back he had pancreatitis and underwent gall bladder and appendix surgery. Still think there's something more to it that hasn't been disclosed, cancer perhaps.
For me, it's the best Avicii song. Why? Cuz the melody, lyrics, beats are just pure blessing to my ears. And the fact that he composed this song in just 1hr. makes me hear this song more and more....
And as he says he likes to work with the melodic part of a track instead of the repetive part as many other artist does, which is why Avicii is one of my top producers. :)
